Abstract
A synergistic composition for physical endurance is disclosed. The synergistic phytoextract formulation comprises of a predetermined amount of maltodextrin, dextrose and water, a predetermined amount of ginger extract, a predetermined amount of high octane medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil and a predetermined amount of amino acids. The amino acids comprises of taurine, leucine, isoleucine and citrulline malate. The synergistic composition of the present invention provides quick energy by maltodextrin and dextrose, muscle recovery by the amino acids, constant slow energy by the high octane medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil and enhanced digestibility by the ginger extract.
Description
A COMPOSITION FOR ENHANCING PHYSICAL ENDURANCE
EARLIEST PRIORITY DATE:
This Application claims priority from a Complete patent application filed in India having Patent Application No. 202111043162, filed on September 23, 2021, and titled “A SYNERGISTIC COMPOSITION FOR PHYSICALENDURANCE”.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of a present disclosure relates to a synergistic composition for physical endurance. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a synergistic composition for physical endurance for athletes to provide constant energy and superior performance with no gastrointestinal issues.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
It is known that endurance sports require constant source of energy that is traditionally provided by sugar and maltodextrin. However, more consumption of sugar leads to a slot of gastrointestinal issues such as diarrhea, vomiting, stomach cramps, etc.
Further most of the existing compositions do not contain an optimum ratio of amino acids that require constant repair of muscle breakdown during strenuous activities.
US20060280777A1 discloses an encapsulated energy gel composition comprising an energy gel composition contained within an edible coating. US20130115329A1 discloses puree compositions having specific carbohydrate ratios, wherein composition includes dextrose, dextrose polymers, crystalline fructose, com syrup and other grain/nut syrups, agave syrup and/palm syrup and pureed fruit and vegetable.
US8937049B2 discloses a novel carbohydrate gel comprising glucose and fructose in a ratio in the range of 3:1 to 1:1 for enhancing blood sugar maintenance and/or increased exogenous carbohydrate oxidation.
Therefore, there is a need for formulating a synergistic endurance composition which address the gastrointestinal issues and aid in repair of muscle breakdown during strenuous activities.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, a synergistic composition for physical endurance is disclosed, wherein the composition comprises of a predetermined amount of maltodextrin, dextrose and water, a predetermined amount of ginger extract, a predetermined amount of high octane medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil and a predetermined amount of amino acids.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, wherein the maltodextrin and dextrose comprises of 70% wt of the composition, wherein the maltodextrin is in the range of 20% to 70% and dextrose is in the range of 0.1% to 50%.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, wherein the predetermined amount of water is in the range of 20% to 40%.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, wherein the predetermined amount of ginger extract is in the range of 0.1% to 15%.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, wherein the predetermined amount of high octane medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil is in the range of 0.1% to 20%.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, wherein the predetermined amount of amino acids comprises of taurine in the range of 0.2% to 10%, leucine in the range of 0.2 to 11%, isoleucine in the range of 0.2% to 5% and citrulline malate in the range of 0.2% to 12%.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, wherein the synergistic composition is in the form of gel, powder and liquid.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, wherein the composition provides quick energy, muscle recovery, constant slow energy and enhanced digestibility by the ginger extract.
To further clarify the advantages and features of the present invention, a more particular description of the invention will follow by reference to specific embodiments thereof.

As used herein “synergistic” means interaction or combination of two or more components, substances, ingredients to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects.
As used herein “enhance endurance of an athlete” means enhance athletes capability to do a certain physical exercise over a long-time period without getting exhausted.
As used herein “Maltodextrin” is an oligosaccharide derived from starch that is used as a food additive and as a carbohydrate supplement, wherein the maltodextrin sustains high energy levels during endurance-oriented workouts or sports, helps to build muscle mass and support weight gain.
As used herein “Dextrose” refers to a sugar usually obtained by the hydrolysis of Starch and it contains one molecule of water of hydration or is anhydrous.
As used herein “high octane medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil” refers to a type of fat supplement which contains medium chain of fatty acids and due to their shorter length, MCTs are more readily digested than longer-chain fatty acids found in other foods.
As used herein “amino acids” are the building blocks of proteins, are compounds that play many critical roles in your body. Their vital functions include repair of damaged muscles, synthesis of proteins, building of proteins and synthesis of hormones and neurotransmitters .
As used herein “ginger extract” refers to an extract of the rhizome of the perennial plant Zingiber officinale with potential antineoplastic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant activities.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, a synergistic composition for physical endurance is disclosed, wherein the composition comprises of a predetermined amount of maltodextrin, dextrose and water, a predetermined amount of ginger extract, a predetermined amount of high octane medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil and a predetermined amount of amino acids.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, wherein the maltodextrin and dextrose comprises of 70% wt of the composition, wherein the maltodextrin is in the range of 20% to 70% and dextrose is in the range of 0.1% to 50%.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, wherein the predetermined amount of water is in the range of 20% to 40%.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, wherein the predetermined amount of ginger extract is in the range of 0.1% to 15%. It may be appreciated by a person skilled in the art that the active component gingerol present in the ginger extract aids in soothing the stomach in presence of high amount of sugar. The gingerol in the ginger extract not only help in breaking down the food items but also helps in soothing serotonin receptors in the human guts that are mainly responsible for creating a feeling of nausea and vomiting.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, wherein the predetermined amount of medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil is in the range of 0.1% to 20%. The medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil has proven to provide slow but constant energy
and aid in brain function by keeping an athlete alert. Further the medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil also helps in diabetic patients in controlling their blood sugar levels.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, wherein the predetermined amount of amino acids comprises of taurine in the range of 0.2% to 10%, leucine in the range of 0.2 to 11%, isoleucine in the range of 0.2% to 5% and citrulline malate in the range of 0.2% to 12%. The presence of amino acids in the gels helps in protein synthesis as essential amino acids are the building blocks of protein that being supplied by the gel.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, wherein the synergistic composition is in the form of gel, powder and liquid.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, wherein the composition provides quick energy, muscle recovery, constant slow energy and enhanced digestibility by the ginger extract.
Overall the composition of the present invention addresses the gastrointestinal issues by using natural ginger extract in synergistic ratio to enhance both the taste as well as the address the problem during an endurance event. Further, the synergistic composition of the present invention comprises of combination of amino acids to aid in constant repair of muscles breakdown, support cardiac and respiratory functions.

As would be apparent to a person skilled in the art, various working modifications may be made to the method in order to implement the inventive concept as taught herein.

multiple functional elements. Elements from one embodiment may be added to another embodiment. For example, order of processes described herein may be changed and are not limited to the manner described herein. Moreover, the actions of any flow diagram need not be implemented in the order shown; nor do all of the acts need to be necessarily performed. Also, those acts that are not dependent on other acts may be performed in parallel with the other acts. The scope of embodiments is by no means limited by these specific examples.
Claims
1. A synergistic composition for physical endurance, the composition comprises of: a predetermined amount of maltodextrin, dextrose and water; a predetermined amount of ginger extract; a predetermined amount of high octane medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil; and a predetermined amount of amino acids;
2. The synergistic composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the maltodextrin and dextrose comprises of 70% wt of the composition, wherein the maltodextrin is in the range of 20% to 70% and dextrose is in the range of 0.1% to 50%.
3. The synergistic composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the predetermined amount of water is in the range of 20% to 40%.
4. The synergistic composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the predetermined amount of ginger extract is in the range of 0.1% to 15%.
5. The synergistic composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the predetermined amount of high octane medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil is in the range of 0.1% to 20%.
6. The synergistic composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the predetermined amount of amino acids comprises of taurine in the range of 0.2% to 10%, leucine in the range of 0.2 to 11%, isoleucine in the range of 0.2% to 5% and citrulline malate in the range of 0.2% to 12%.
7. The synergistic composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the synergistic composition is in the form of gel, powder and liquid.

The synergistic composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the synergistic composition provides quick energy, muscle recovery, constant slow energy and enhanced digestibility by the ginger extract.
