A base is explained which is positioned at a distance above the heater so that the heater does not contact the base except for the cooking procedure
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The object of the invention is to ensure that in the cooking position the coffee pot is safely inserted into the cavity of the Turkish coffee machine. In order to achieve the above objective, the invention relates to a Turkish coffee machine comprising a housing having an accessible cavity delimited with a lower wall and a spaced upper wall; a coffee pot in the form of a container inserted into the cavity in a cooking operation; a first connector and a second connector mutually arranged on the pot base of the coffee pot and the bottom wall of the housing supporting the coffee pot such that electrically engaged with each other in a cooking operation. The Turkish coffee machine further comprises a barrier provided on the outer edge of the lower wall in a way that narrows the height of the inlet opening of the cavity from below. Inserting the coffee pot into the cavity is possible only by moving the coffee pot closer to the upper wall. Since there is a connector on the bottom wall, the coffee pot can be placed in the cavity aligned with the upper wall, with the maximum distance between the first and second connectors. In this case, it will be possible for the coffee pot to be arranged vertically from its base to the lower wall after it passes the barrier. This smart placement will force the user to place the coffee pot in the cavity in the safest way due to design limitations. The barrier may be in the form of a protrusion or may be provided along the leading edge of the lower wall facing the cavity opening.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the barrier extends as a concave depression of the outer periphery of the lower wall. In this way, the bottom wall surrounds the second connector in the form of a depression. The coffee pot base is seated on the lower wall by means of the depression form and axial alignment of the first and second connectors becomes possible in an area where the user does not have visual access.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the second connector is arranged in the form of a cylindrical protrusion in the center of the lower wall. The coffee pot is able to rotate in the cavity on the cylinder axis even when the bottom of the coffee pot is seated on the lower wall and the first and second connectors are engaged.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the height of the barrier is adjusted close to the height of the second connector from the lower wall. When the bottom of the coffee pot moves by contacting the barrier, the second connector does not create an obstacle against the advancement and the user can simply push the coffee pot axially into the cavity.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the coffee pot base is in a circular form suitable for the lower wall. In this way, it is possible to rotate the coffee pot in the cavity on the second connector axis since a corner form is avoided. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the ratio of the height of the coffee pot to the height of the inlet of the cavity is at least 95%. In this way, the distance on the vertical axis is limited for the user to place the coffee pot into the cavity and it is possible for the user to take the coffee pot into the cavity at the maximum distance with the second connector and close to the top section. The operation safety before and after the cooking is therefore increased.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the housing is having an electronic control unit arranged on the upper wall and provides electrical transmission between the first and second connectors in the cooking operation. The electronic control unit is a PCB circuit that controls the elements such as the temperature or motion sensor facing the coffee pot, preferably on its own or via a remote connection. In a possible embodiment, the electronic control unit drives elements such as LED, buzzer, or loudspeaker in a manner providing a warning signal, activated when the cooking operation is completed.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, an electrical heating unit is provided on the coffee pot base and connected to the first connector in an electrically conductive manner. In this way, electricity is transmitted to the coffee pot for the cooking process by means of the first and second connectors without creating a high-temperature area in the cavity. By removing the coffee pot after the cooking operation, the accessible cavity is prevented from creating a risk of burning.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the chamber of the coffee pot is of a conical structure that narrows upwards, and the cavity is having a side wall extending towards the inlet opening of the cavity between the lower wall and the upper wall of the cavity to cover the chamber at least partially. A protective measure is taken against the cases such as hot coffee overflowing to the outside.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the distance between an inlet part of the coffee pot and the upper wall is set equal or close to the barrier height in the cooking operation, for example, 95% or less. In this way, the short distance compared to the cavity height, which is formed after the coffee pot rest on the bottom wall, allows a short lifting movement during the removal of the coffee pot from the cavity.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the upper wall and the lower wall extend in a flat form parallel to each other. In this way, it is ensured that the coffee pot is guided in the cavity. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the coffee pot includes a handle provided in the part extending outward from the cavity. The handle ensures the safe removal of the hot coffee pot after cooking by holding it.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, an electrical heating element is integrally provided at the base of the coffee pot and to which the first connector is electrically connected. Since the heating element is directly integrated into the bottom of the coffee pot, there is no hot area left in the cavity after evacuation from the cavity, and user safety is guaranteed.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
Figure 1 is a side view of a representative embodiment of a Turkish coffee machine according to the subject matter invention when the coffee pot is outside of the housing.
Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view of the Turkish coffee machine as shown in Figure 1 where the coffee pot is inserted in the cavity.
Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view of a representative embodiment of the Turkish coffee machine according to the invention, where the coffee pot is inserted in the cavity before the cooking operation.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In this detailed explanation, the development is explained without any limitation and only with reference to examples to better explain the subject matter invention.
In Figure 1 , as shown from the side view, a Turkish coffee machine is comprising a housing (10) comprising a cavity (18) with an externally accessible opening and a coffee pot (20) inserted into the cavity (18) in cooking operation. The coffee pot (20) is shown outside the housing (10). The housing (10) is made of plastic material and its cavity (18) is arranged between a planar upper wall (13) and a parallel lower wall (14). The upper wall (13) is in the lower part of an outwardly extending hollow ceiling comprising a headroom (11 ). The lower wall (14), on the other hand, is at the top of a hollow base extension surrounded by a radial peripheral edge (16). A sidewall (12) in the panel structure extends in the space between the upper and lower walls (13, 14) in a way that delimits the cavity (18). The coffee pot (20), on the other hand, is in the form of a container (22) that narrows from the sides of a flat and circular coffee pot base (24) that fits into the cavity (18) from the lower wall (14). In the center of the coffee pot base (24), there is a first connector (40) extending inward and providing electrical transmission. The container (22) has a circular inlet (23) with a narrow diameter at the top relative to the coffee pot base (24). A V-shaped spout (21) is formed in the opening (23). An L-like handle (25) extending out from the outer wall of the container (22) of the coffee pot (20) is fixed to the container (22) from one end of its short side. The long side of the handle (25) extends downwards at a distance from the container
(22). The coffee pot (20) is in the form of a hollow truncated cone that narrows upwards. Turkish coffee to be cooked, optionally sugar and water are added in the container (22) of the coffee pot (20). In Figure 2, the Turkish coffee machine is shown from the cross-section. Prior to the cooking operation, the coffee pot (20) is inserted into the cavity (18) by adding a mixture of water and coffee to the container (22). During the movement of the coffee pot (20) into the cavity (18), a barrier (15) located at the lower part of the opening of the cavity (18) guides the coffee pot (20) based on the bottom (24) of the coffee pot. While the coffee pot (20) is pushed into the cavity (18), the barrier (15) rests on the bottom (24) of the coffee pot from the bottom and supports the weight to be carried until it settles. In this way, the coffee pot (20) can be inserted in the cavity (18) evenly along a direction of advancement. The inlet
(23) level (y) of the coffee pot (20) forms a straight line adjacent to the upper wall (13). The lower wall (14), which forms the floor of the cavity (18), is in one piece and is in the form of a cut-through toroid-like depression with a cylindrical protrusion (52) in the middle. This structure is surrounded by the peripheral edge (16) at an angle from the outside. The depth of the depression in the lower wall (14) forms a barrier (15) at the opening of the cavity (18). The height (h) of the barrier (15) is close to the height of the protrusion (52). The projection (52) holds inside a second connector (50). The second connector (50) has a mains connection (not shown) and, as shown in Figure 3, when the coffee pot base (22) is seated on the lower wall (14), it engages the first connector (40) and safely transmits electricity to the first connector (40). The first connector (40) includes a cylindrical cavity in female form and the projection (52) engages the cylindrical cavity. When the coffee pot (20) is fully inserted into the cavity (18), the bottom of the coffee pot (24) passes through the barrier (15) and rests in the depression. Thus, the coffee pot is in the cooking position by moving downwards towards the lower wall (14) as much as the projection (52) height. When the coffee pot (20) is in the cooking position, the cooking operation is initiated by the drive of an electronic control unit (70) mounted in the headroom (11) over a control panel (not shown). In this case, the electronic control unit (70) activates an electric heating unit (60) that extends from the second connector (50) to the first connector (40) and the base of the coffee pot (24) faces the container (22), and the mixture of water, coffee and optionally sugar in the container (22) is heated. When cooking is detected by a sensor disposed on the upper wall (13), the electronic control unit (70) cuts off the current to the second connector (50) and cooking is completed. In this case, the user first lifts the coffee pot (20), which he sees as built into the cavity (18) due to the barrier (15), up to the height (h) of the barrier (15), and draws the bottom of the coffee pot (24) over the barrier (15) so that it is guided straight to the height. The coffee pot that is as high as (h) pulls out axially without disturbing the inlet level (y). In order to achieve this, the handle (25) grasped by the user extends out from the cavity (18) in an accessible manner.
