  • the proximal end 19 of the cartridge 14 comprises radially extending grooves 60 that extend from the air inlet openings 28 in a radial direction towards the interior of the aerosol-generating system 10.
  • the radial portion 56 of the inlet channel 52 extends into the axial portion 58 of the inlet channel 52.
  • the axial portion 58 of the inlet channel 52 is defined between the inner side surface of the cartridge 14 and the outer surface of the tubular element 24 of the mouthpiece 20.

  • the aerosol-generating device cannot be used for generating an inhalable aerosol. Accordingly, the aerosol-generating device can only be used with this specific mouthpiece 20, which helps to prevent or reduce unauthorized use and counterfeiting.

  • the mouthpiece 20 depicted in Fig. 5 is also still sealed at the distal end and the proximal end. Each of these ends is still covered by a sealing foil 66. Each of these sealing foils 66 is used to protect the open ends of the mouthpiece 20 from debris and contaminations prior to use. During assembly of the aerosol-generating system 10, the sealing foils 66 of the mouthpiece 20 are removed. In the right view of Fig. 5 the aerosol-generating system 10 is depicted in the fully assembled state.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de génération d'aérosol comprenant une unité principale et un embout buccal remplaçable. L'unité principale comprend un élément chauffant pour chauffer un substrat formant un aérosol. L'embout buccal comprend un canal de sortie. L'embout buccal et l'unité principale ont des composants structuraux correspondants ayant des formes géométriques complémentaires. Lorsque l'embout buccal est relié à l'unité principale, les composants structuraux correspondants de l'embout buccal et de l'unité principale définissent un canal d'entrée. Le canal d'entrée et le canal de sortie forment une voie d'écoulement d'air allant d'une entrée d'air à une sortie d'air via l'élément chauffant.
