Description

A FECES DISCHARGE APPARATUS
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a feces evacuation apparatus that enables the evacuation of feces of patients who are bedbound due to congenital or paralysis and similar diseases or accidents, or patients who have to be treated in bed for a certain period of time and after that, allows the defecation to be completed without being exposed to the cleaning process of the breech area and its surroundings.
Prior Art
Today, defecation processes and cleaning after defecation of patients who are bedbound due to congenital or paralysis and similar diseases or accidents, or patients who have to be treated in bed for a certain period of time are carried out by patient caregivers. There are various improvements in the state of the art regarding such issues.
In the International patent document numbered WO 2014 073598 in the state of the art, in the patent document numbered JPH 04322646, a diaper that reduces partial cleaning for defecation of the sick person is disclosed. It is stated that the adhesive section which is located in the middle of the inner layer of the diaper, is hollowed out from the lower and upper sides, has a hole in the middle is adhered such that it contains anus therein and thus ensures that the feces is thrown into the bag without contaminating the patient's genital area and diaper. However, although the feces is evacuated into the bag, a small amount of feces remains around the anus on the part that is attached to the anus and a partial cleaning process is performed by the caregiver rather than a complete cleaning. Although said cloth does not completely eliminate cleaning, it brings some ergonomics to the caregiver.
As mentioned above, there is no mention of a feces discharge apparatus that eliminates the cleaning of the sick person after the defecation process, today and in the state of the art.

The parts that constitute the inventive feces discharge apparatus are enumerated as follows in the attached figures:
1- Feces discharge apparatus
2- Pulley
2.1 Shaft
2.2 Body
2.3 Mouth
3- Bag
3.1 Finger inlet slot
4- Insertion element
4.1 Head
4.2 Rope
The inventive feces discharge apparatus (1) comprises the following;
A bag (3), which is attached to the pulley (2) and keeps the feces inside, and can be removed from the pulley (2) when necessary, An insertion element (4) which has a head (4.1) which allows the shaft (2.1) to advance by guiding the shaft (2.1) located on the pulley (2) shaft (2.1) in the entry phase of the anus and a rope (4.2), one end of which passes through the head (4.1) and the other end freely passes through the shaft (2.1) and protrudes out of the pulley (2), when the shaft (2.1) is placed in the anus, the overflowing part is pulled by the user, allowing the head (4.1) to be discharged by passing through the shaft (2.1),
A pulley (2) which has a body (2.2) that is attached to the body and a shaft (2.1) located in the upper part of the body (2.2) and placed in the anus, allows feces to pass through and be contained in the bag (3) and an externally threaded mouth (2.3) that enables the bag (3) located at the bottom of the body (2.2) to be mounted to the pulley (2),
The inventive feces discharge apparatus (1) functions as follows;
- The pulley (2) is placed on the anus of the sick person by pushing it by means of the head (4.1).
After the pulley (2) is placed, the insertion element (4) must be removed from the pulley (2) for use. At this stage, when the rope (4.2) is pulled by the user, the head (4.1) passes through the inner part of the shaft (2.1) and goes out of the pulley (2) together with the rope (4.2) and completes its function.
- The connection mouth of the bag (3) is internally threaded. It is mounted on the pulley (2) by turning the mouth (2.3) and grasping the external threads of the mouth (2.3). The connection of the bag (3) to the pulley (2) is provided.
- The user's feces is filled into the bag (3) by passing through the shaft (2.1) located in the internal section of the anus. At the end of defecation, either the user or the caregiver removes the bag (3) and disposes the same, and if necessary, attaches the empty bag (3) to the pulley (2) again. At this stage, there is no need for cleaning because there is no feces around the breech and anus.
There is a cover in the inventive feces discharge apparatus (1). The cover is closed to the mouth (2.3) when required.
The bag (3) in the inventive feces discharge apparatus (1) as at least two finger inlet slots (3.1). During the discharge phase of the bag (3), individuals easily carry the bag (3) by placing their fingers in the finger inlet slot (3.1). Furthermore, the operation can be performed with the fingers inserted through said finger inlet slots (3.1) during an anus examination.
It increases the workload of the caregiver regarding the bottom cleaning of the patient, and the amount of cleaning product used. Since the odors emitted into the environment cannot be prevented, this disturbs both the patient and the caregiver. Performing feces cleaning may cause fatigue and burnout in caregivers after a while, on the other hand, it can cause patients to feel the feeling of being dependent on someone else more. This invention eliminates patient bottom cleaning by preventing contamination of the entire bottom area during defecation in all patient groups that have to use underpads. Patients complete the defecation process without being dependent on anyone. The object of the feces discharge apparatus (1) is to ensure that patients who are bedbound for a certain period of time after the surgery can defecate themselves without the need for the help of a second person. After the main apparatus (1) is easily attached and placed by the medical personnel, the patient becomes able to change the bag (3) on his/her own. It is more easy and faster to wipe the small open area with a wet cloth because the area to be cleaned is reduced. As a consequence of diseases that are born bedbound or the cause of which may be due to many reasons, the problems experienced by bedbound patients in defecation find a faster, practical, healthy, odorless and easy solution. The difficulties due to moving the patient at least twice a day by the caregivers will be eliminated. The problem of contamination and microbes caused by the structure of the feces causes serious psychological problems as well as bedsores. Deaths from these bedsores cannot be underestimated. It will completely eliminate the problem of feces and odor that contaminates various parts of the body. It eliminates the cleaning problem arising from defecation, which is the major reason of bed sores. The association between bed sores and the microbes spread by feces is eliminated. Microbe contamination caused by defecation, which is one of the main external factors that prevent healing, has been completely eliminated. If a nurse is required the psychological discomfort will also be minimized due to the fact that cleaning process can be done easily and quickly.
Description and use of bag (3); the pulley (2) is in the form of a flexible, waterproof, robust band-aid. The silicone structure starts two cm before the anus. On top of this structure, there is the cover and the shaft (2.1). After the main body (2.2) is placed inside the patient's anus, the head (4.1) is attached together with the shaft (2.1), the structure in the form of a band-aid that adheres to the pulley (2) is adhered to the patient's posterior, close to the anus. When the fixation is ensured, the cover of the main body (2.2) is opened. The place where the bag (3) will be attached. The cover of the bag (3) is opened and fixed to the body (2.2) by rotating the same. The plastic ring hanging at the end of the rope (4.2) is grasped and pulled by inserting the fingers into the finger sections found in the bag (3). The pulling action dislodges the head (4.1) located in the anus and passes through the shaft (2.2) and falls into the bag (3). Thus, everything is prepared for the patient's defecation process. The fixed ring attached to the main body (2.2) by holding the upper section of the bag (3) by the handle and with one hand is rotated and separated from the main body (2.2), which is fixedly attached to the patient's body. The cover of the bag (3), which is placed on the top of the bag (3) while inserting it into the pocket, is taken and the mouth of the bag (3) is closed and disposed.
The internal structure of the inlet (2.3) part of the pulley (2) located in the inventive feces discharge apparatus (1), has a cut internal structure that prevents air flow and does not prevent feces from coming out.
