- the mudflap can include a control lever to order its movement. This control lever can be formed by the footrest.
- the second movement mechanism comprises a second guide rail and the flap comprises a second lug which extends into the second guide rail. It is also possible to provide small wheels under the flap so as to allow the flap to roll on the ground when it is moved from its storage position and its extended position.
- the first mechanism comprises a return spring 15 arranged to return the horizontal part to a rest position, as illustrated in FIG. 5.
- the return spring will be on the one hand fixed to the frame of the seat and on the other hand the horizontal part 2, for example by making use of the first additional lug 12.
- the return spring When the passenger seat is in the rest position, the return spring will also be in the rest position housed in the bottom of the seat.
- the return spring will be stretched when the seat is in the reclined position and therefore it will be locked in this last position. Unlocking the return spring, for example using a rod, will release it to return the horizontal part to the rest position.
- FIG. 6 illustrates another embodiment of a first displacement mechanism according to the invention.
- the first movement mechanism is formed by a ball joint consisting of a first ring 21 and a second ring 22 mounted so as to be able to pivot relative to each other.
- the first ring being mounted on the support frame and the second ring being mounted on an underside of the horizontal part.
- the first ring 21 includes a concave surface 23 having a first geometry, the second ring including a convex surface 24 having a second geometry. Compression using a tightening screw ensures the rigidity of the movement.
- the first and second geometry being complementary to each other.
- a friction layer 27 is housed between the rings.
- the complementary geometry allows the second ring to be moved relative to the first ring. Since the latter is fixed to the frame, the horizontal part can be moved and can therefore be tilted downwards.
- the convex shape of the surface 24 which can move relative to the concave shape will allow a pivoting which will be transmitted to the horizontal part.
- FIG. 7 illustrates such a seat on which another embodiment of the first movement mechanism is mounted.
- the application to such a seat of the first displacement mechanism according to the invention would imply that the first mechanism could form the connecting piece.
- the horizontal part of the seat would be mounted on the one hand on two hinge points 12 placed in the bottom of the seat near the rear edge and on the other hand on the first mechanism.
- the latter would for example be formed by a piston or a scissor split mechanism 30, allowing the horizontal part to be lowered and raised.
- the jack mechanism 30 is by a first fixing point fixed on the shaft 32 forming part of the support frame of the seat and by a second fixing point 31 on the horizontal part of the seat. The movement of the scissor jack will thus rotate the horizontal part of the seat.
- the first movement mechanism comprises a first plate connected to the support frame so as to be able to slide relative to the support frame and thus execute a back and forth movement relative to the vertical part 3.
- the first plate may comprise a first and a second part mounted between them via a hinge to thus allow the first and second part to pivot relative to each other during said inclination .
- the first guide rail 10-1 is mounted on the support frame, in particular on either side of the lateral sides of the first plate. The first plate will thus be able to slide with the aid of the first guide rail which supports it.
- the movement back and forth allows the first plate to slide forwards of the seat and thus its second part to partially exceed the front bar of the seat.
- this second part of the first plate exceeds the front bar and can tilt downwards without being hindered by the front bar.
- the second part pivots relative to the first thanks to the hinge.
- the first plate is connected to the support frame by means of a return spring arranged to return the first plate to a rest position where the covering cushion extends substantially horizontally. This facilitates the return of the first tray to its rest position.
- the first part of the first plate is mounted in such a way that, during the back and forth movement, it remains substantially horizontal.
- the second part of the first plate is mounted in such a way that, during the back and forth movement, it can pivot.
- the first movement mechanism comprises a second plate rigidly connected to the support frame, the first plate being mounted on the second plate. This allows existing seats to be used to mount the travel mechanism.

- the passenger can move the horizontal part 2 forward relative to the vertical part 3, then tilt it so that the front edge of the horizontal part descends with respect to the vertical part, simply by shifting its weight on the front edge of the horizontal part 2, which makes it possible to tilt the seat 1 (right part of Figure 8).
- the vertical part 3 remains substantially vertical, and/or tilts only slightly, so that it does not encroach, or only very marginally, on the space of the next seat.
- the lowest segment of the vertical part 3, or even the whole of the vertical part 3 can tilt forwards, in a word the bottom of the vertical part 3 is forward, which allows the seat in the reclined position to be relatively flat, without encroaching on the space of the next passenger (eg no more than 20 cm, preferably no more than 15 cm).
- the space between the horizontal 2 and vertical 3 parts remains limited and compatible with the optimum comfort of the passenger.
- the bottom of the vertical part 3 is inclined for this purpose, and the space between the rear edge of the horizontal part 2 and the bottom of the vertical part 3 is reduced, even in the inclined position.
- the horizontal parts 2 and 3 are covered by a cover whose texture is extensible, so that the displacement of the horizontal part 2, its tilting, or even the inclination of the vertical part 3 does not create no empty spaces under the passenger while not causing tears in the cover.

- the rotation device 15b rather than a ball joint connected to a torsion bar 15c, could have been one or more (ex. 2) hinge(s) or a pair of rotation bars.
- the rotating device 15b is fixed to the seat frame 5, for example via a rigid plate, which allows a solid anchoring of the reclining seat 1 to the support frame 5, a necessity for the seats of a means (vehicle) of transport, especially when the means of transport is high-speed, such as an airplane.
- the horizontal part 2 is totally inclined, the position can be locked reversibly. The return to the initial non-inclined position is done in the opposite way: possible unlocking, weight of the passenger at the rear of the horizontal part 2 and replacement of the horizontal part 2 so that the rear edge of the horizontal part 2 is close to the vertical part 3.
