Un mode de réalisation de la présente invention concerne une charnière à liaisons multiples comportant : un levier inférieur, un levier supérieur, et une pluralité de liaisons pour relier le levier inférieur et le levier supérieur, la charnière à liaisons multiples comprenant au moins une plaque de protection pour recouvrir des composants internes et une pluralité de liaisons qui prennent des positions l'une par rapport à l'autre en fonction de l'ouverture ou de la fermeture de la charnière à liaisons multiples. La plaque de protection comprend : une partie corps principal qui a une extrémité supportée de façon rotative par l'un parmi le levier inférieur ou le levier supérieur ; et une partie de guidage qui est guidée par une broche de guidage fixée à l'une de la pluralité de liaisons. La partie de guidage peut être détachée de la partie corps principal.
