A PHONE CHARGER ARTICLE AND METHODS
FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a phone charger article and methods of making and use thereof.
BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0002] In an aging and aged society, mobility of many, e.g., the sick and senile population, is compromised. For these, connection with the outside world becomes a necessity, and they do so by portable devices, e.g., a smart phone or iPad. Charging such devices becomes a challenging issue for this section of the population. As such, there is a need for a portable charging device that is more convenient for mobility compromised or physically challenged people.
[0003] The embodiments provided below address the above identified issues and needs.
SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0004] In one aspect of the present disclosure, it is provided a phone charger article, comprising an enclosure having an opening configured to receive an object and an optional second opening configured to receive a charging cable, the enclosure comprising a shape configured to sit on or hold a body part of a user or sit nearby when the use.
[0005] In some embodiments, optionally in combination with the various embodiments of phone charger article disclosed herein, the object is a power bank.

Materials

EXAMPLES
[00108] The following examples are provided to illustrate and not meant to limit, the scope, of the disclosure herein.
[00109] FIGS. 1-2 show embodiments of designs of the disclosed phone charger article, a phone charger of disclosure.
[00110] Referring to FIG. 1, the figure shows a phone charger article with a pillow shape enclosure 100 having a pocket 110 configured to receive a power bank 200, which is shown in FIG. 2 A, and an opening 130 for charging cable access.
[00111] Referring to FIG. 2A, components of the phone charger article of disclosure are shown to include a pillow shape enclosure 100 with an opening 120 of a pocket (bottom view) to receive the power bank 200 and an opening 130 for charging cable access. The charging cable access opening can have a plurality of openings 130, which includes plastic or reinforced stitching to prevent wear and allow cord to pass through. [00112] Referring to FIG. 2B, it shows a pillowcase 300 shown to have a clear, vinyl pocket 310 configured to receive a phone, the pillowcase has an opening 330 for charging cable access. A bottom view of the pillowcase 300 is shown on the right side, which shows fabric snaps or zips 321 and 322 to fit over pillow and to open to access power bank 200.
[00113] Referring again to FIG. 2B, vinyl pocket 310 also serves as a clear vinyl window 311 and allows for phone usage. An example of the clear vinyl pocket/window 310 can include a material 312 that glows in dark on 3 (three) sides and an opening (not shown here, see FIG. 3 below) for charging cord to feed through. Charging cable access openings 330 can include plastic or reinforced stitching to prevent wear and allow cord to pass through.
[00114] FIG. 2C shows a power bank 200 included within the pillow shape enclosure 100 shown in FIG. 2 A. The power bank 200 fits inside the inner pillow, which includes an opening/pocket 140 (FIG. 5B). Power bank 200 has a standard cable connects to phone port routes through opening 130 then connects into phone.
[00115] FIG. 3 shows the steps for the setup/use of an embodiment of the disclosed pillow shape phone charger article. In step 1, power bank 200 is inserted into pillow shape enclosure 100, which includes an opening/pocket 140 for power bank 200 and an opening 130 for charging cable access. In step 2, pillow shape enclosure 100 is then snugged into a pillowcase 300 having a side pocket 310 for phone. Side pocket 310 generally includes a clear window 310, which is also temperature or heat sensitive so as to allow touch screen input, an example of such window is vinyl window. Pillowcase 300 has an opening 330 configured to correspond to opening 130 of the pillow shape enclosure 100 and allow access of a charging cable to the charging port on the power bank 200. In step 3, a phone fits into the side pocket 310. Clear window 310 has an opening 313 adjacent to opening 330, which allows for a charging cord to feed through to reach the phone inside the pocket. [00116] Still referring to FIG. 3, it is shown that the shape and design of the pillowlOO and pillow case 300 can have the shape of e.g., potato print (“Chip”), cheetah print (“Cheetato”), black with glow in dark stars (“Spudnik”), sage green (“Meditator”), dusty rose (“Rose spud”), and neutral gray (“Greatato”).

I Claim:
1. A phone charger article, comprising an enclosure having an opening configured to receive an object and an optional second opening configured to receive a charging cable, the enclosure comprising a shape configured to sit on or hold a body part of a user or sit nearby when the user is resting.
2. The phone charger article according to claim 1, wherein the object is a power bank.
3. The phone charger article according to claim 1, wherein the shape is a pillow shape.
4. The phone charger article according to claim 1, wherein the body part is head, neck, back, forearm, or leg of the user.
5. The phone charger article according to claim 1 , wherein the enclosure comprises soft texture.
6. The phone charger article according to claim 1, comprising the second opening, wherein the enclosure comprises an enclave configured to receive a smart phone, the smart phone being electrically communicable with the charging port.
7. The phone charger article according to claim 1, wherein the shape is a potato shape.
8. The phone charger article according to claim 1, further comprising a filler material, which is enclosed within the enclosure.
9. The phone charger article according to claim 8, wherein the filler material comprises a plurality of beads or sand and a stuffing fiberfill, the beads or sand being in a sufficient weight to allow the enclosure to set, and the stuffing fiberfill being in a sufficient volume to fill up the enclosure and support the body part.
10. The phone charger article according to claim 9, wherein the beads or sand are selected from the group consisting of ceramic beads or sand, glass beads or sand, plastic beads or sand, metallic beads or sand, or a combination thereof.
11. The phone charger article according to claim 9, wherein the fiberfill is an electrically resistant material and/or a fire-resistant material.
12. The phone charger article according to claim 9, wherein the fiberfill comprises polyester fibers, cotton, wool, or biomass fibers.
13. A kit, comprising a phone charger article and a phone charger article case, the phone charger article case has a dimension and configuration to receive the phone charger article, the case having an open end with an optional cover to allow the phone charger article to insert into the case, wherein the phone charger article comprises an enclosure having an opening configured to receive an object and an optional second opening configured to receive a charging cable, the enclosure comprising a shape configured to sit on or hold a body part of a user or sit nearby when the user is resting.
14. The kit according to claim 14, wherein the phone charger article and the phone charger article case has a shape of a pillow.
15. The kit according to claim 14, wherein the case has a pocket for phone.
16. The kit according to claim 14, wherein the case has an opening for a charging cable to connect to a charging port on a power bank enclosed within the phone charger article.
17. The kit according to claim 14, wherein the phone charger article is according to any of claims 2-14.
18. A method of making a phone charger phone charger article according to any one of claims 1-14 or a kit according to any one of claims 14-18.
