Abstract

The present invention discloses a system (100) and method (300) for simultaneous creation and sharing of multilingual user content. A user can create user content in an origin language and desired target languages by using a user application (202) on their user device (102). An application platform (218) present in an application server (104) manages the content curation and distribution through an interface module (220) and a thread management module (222). The disclosed system (100) and method (300) enable a user to create/ curate/ manage content creation and their corresponding online personality in multiple target languages, thus allowing the user to build their online presence/influence simultaneously in multiple language communities.

Description

System for simultaneous multilingual content creation and method thereof
The field of invention generally relates to multilingual content creation. More specifically, it relates to a system and method for simultaneous multi-lingual content creation for distribution, management and interaction across multiple user devices.
The Social media and social networking sites and applications are used by more than three billion people worldwide, and are projected to increase exponentially in the future. Social media and social networking applications allow users to create and distribute content to interact with other users and increase their online influence.
In particular, in countries with multiple regional languages, it is difficult to use a single application to efficiently create content that can be used to interact with to multiple individuals/communities by using their own languages. Existing technologies only allow the creation of content in a single language at a time, during a single user session. These systems are inconvenient and time-consuming in case a user wants to create content in multiple languages to interact with a wider audience. Current systems do not allow the simultaneous creation and distribution of content in multiple languages.
Other existing systems have tried to address this problem. However, their scope was limited to allowing the user to add translated content into posts. This makes it inconvenient as users would need to create content multiple times corresponding to each language, in order to post multilingual content to interact with users in other languages.
Thus, in light of the above discussion, it is implicit that there is a need for a system and method for a multilingual user content creation, distribution and interaction system, which is reliable and does not suffer from the problems discussed above.
Object of Invention
The principal object of this invention is to provide a system and method to for simultaneous multi-lingual content creation for distribution across multiple users and user devices.
A further object of the invention is to provide a system and method allowing a user to create content in a target language and simultaneously create corresponding content threads in multiple desired target languages across several user sessions.
A further object of the invention is to provide a system and method for simultaneous creation of content threads for an origin language and multiple target languages.
Another object of the invention is to provide a system and method enabling a user to manage their content and online personality in multiple target languages.
Another object of the invention is to provide a system and method enabling a user to modify their content in each content thread corresponding to multiple target languages.
Another object of the invention is to provide a system and method enabling a user to interact with multiple users simultaneously in multiple target languages.

The present invention discloses a system and method for simultaneous creation and sharing of multilingual user content. A user can create user content in an origin language and desired target languages by using a user application on their user device. An application platform present in an application server manages the content curation and distribution through an interface module and a thread management module. The disclosed system and method enable a user to create/ curate/ manage content creation and their corresponding online personality in multiple target languages, thus allowing the user to build their online presence/influence simultaneously in multiple language communities.

In an embodiment, the system 100 allows users to simultaneously create and share multilingual content on an application platform present in an application server 104. The user may create content in an origin languages, choose multiple target languages, and use a user application on their user device 102 to simultaneously create content in the origin language and the desired target languages. As an example, English may be an origin language. The target languages may comprise one or more of regional languages, foreign languages, and dialects, among others, using their own fonts.
The application server 104 may be used to manage the application platform comprising one or more of a social media platform, social networking platform, work platform or other integrated platforms, among others, which may be used by multiple users to create and share content. The application platform may be used by users to create on or more content, including but not limited to, posts, pictures, videos, GIFs, documents, presentations, virtual art, informational content, publications, and articles, among other types of content. The user may be able to upload and share such content with one or more communities of users who are using the application platform. The communities may be grouped based on one or more of language, age, gender, nationality, and common interests, among others.
The system 100 may comprise multiple user devices 102 corresponding to the number of the users. The user devices 102 may comprise one or more of a wearable device, mobile phones, PDA, smartphones, smart band, smart watch, laptop, computer, etc.
In an embodiment, the application server 104 may comprise one or more servers in one or more geographical locations, which may store information in one or more databases. The application server 104 may be used to manage one or more of user accounts, user content, content creation, and content distribution, among other functions of a networking / social media application.
In an embodiment, the application server 104 and the user devices 102 may communicate with each other by using one or more of wired and wireless communication technologies, including but not limited to, GSM, Wi-fi, LAN, bluetooth, and NFC, among others.

The translation module 206 may allow the user to manually enter their translated content. In an embodiment, the translation module 206 may comprise a translation software or application, in order to translate the user content into the desired target languages. Additionally, the translation module 206 may communicate with one or more translation softwares or applications through the communication unit 216.
In an embodiment, the content creation module 208 may allow the user to create their content by adding or integrating one or more multi-media attachments to their multilingual content. In an embodiment, the application server 104 comprises or hosts the application platform 218 which can be accessed by the user for simultaneous creation and distribution of multilingual content in the user’s desired target languages. In an embodiment, the application server 104 comprises the application platform 218, a processing unit 224, a memory unit 226 and a communication unit 228.
In an embodiment, the application platform 218 may comprise one or more of a social media platform, social networking platform, work platform or other integrated platforms, among others, which may be used by multiple users to create and share content, manage user accounts and develop their online/virtual personalities.
In an embodiment, the application platform 218 comprises an interface module 220, and a thread management module 222.
In an embodiment, the interface module 220 may allow back-end developers to regulate the working and functions of the application platform 218, including but not limited to updating the application platform 218, curating or managing user content, managing user accounts, and managing communication with user devices 102 and other external devices, among others.
In an embodiment, the thread management module 222 may manage the creation and maintenance of different language threads for each content posted by the users of the application platform 218. The thread management module 222 may use one or more known content thread management methods to achieve the same.
In an embodiment, the application platform 218 in the application server 104 may also comprise a translation module and a content creation module similar to the translation module 206 and the content creation module 208 of the user devices 102.
depicts/illustrates a method 300 for simultaneous multi-lingual content creation across multiple user devices, in accordance with an embodiment.
The method 300 begins with receiving user content in an origin language, through a user device, as depicted at step 302. Subsequently, the method 300 discloses displaying a choice of multiple target languages to the user, as depicted at step 304. Thereafter, the method 300 discloses creating multilingual content based on the selected target languages, as depicted at step 306. The method 300 then discloses modifying the multilingual content, by using a user device, as depicted at step 308. Further, the method 300 discloses creating content threads for each of the target language content, as depicted at step 310. Thereafter the method 300 discloses managing content threads for all users, as depicted at step 312.
Fig.s 4A-4D illustrate exemplary user interfaces of the simultaneous multi-lingual content creation across multiple user devices 102, in accordance with an embodiment.
In an embodiment, depicts a user interface 400 of the user device 102. The user may be using their user device 102 to create content in an origin language as well as multiple target languages. The user application 202 depicts the user interface 400 where the user can enter their content “Hello!” and select one or more desired target languages, ex. Kannada, Tamil, etc.
In an embodiment, depicts a user interface 402 of the user device 102 showing the simultaneous translation of the multilingual user content in the desired target languages. The user may have chosen “English” as an origin language, along with “Kannada” as a desired target language. In this case, “Kannada” is depicted to have been chosen. Further, the content created by the user in the origin language is translated to the desired target language by using the translation module 206 in the user device 102. Thereafter, the translated content may be displayed by the user application 202 as depicted in the figure.

The advantages of the current invention include the ability to create multilingual content simultaneously on a single screen/user interface. Additionally, the described system and method allow the creation, posting as well as management of simultaneous multilingual content
An additional advantage is that the system helps in actively managing threads of multiple target languages under a single user. Further, the system and method enable users to simultaneously create content, build following and gain influence in multiple communities simultaneously.
Applications of the current invention include any softwares comprising user content creation and sharing, in particular, social media sites/applications, social networking sites/applications, and other sites/applications that help in sharing content or information between users. The disclosed system and method may be integrated as an API into other user softwares, and can thus be used within other applications as well.

Claims (17)

  1. A system (100) for simultaneous multilingual content creation and sharing across user devices (102), comprising:
    at least one user device (102) comprising a user application (202) configured to enable a user to simultaneously create and publish multilingual content in user’s desired target languages; and
    an application server (104) comprising an application platform (218) configured to be accessed by the user for simultaneous creation and distribution of multilingual content in the user’s desired target languages.
  2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the user application (202) comprises:
    a user interface (204) configured to display, view and receive one or more information and content related to the user; and to create and curate one or more content on the application platform (218);
    a translation module (206) configured to provide translations from and into one or more of regional languages, foreign languages, and dialects; and
    a content creation module (208) configured to enable the user to create one or more content by adding or integrating one or more multi-media attachments to their multilingual content.
  3. The system (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the translation module (206) is configured to:
    enable the user to create corresponding content in multiple target languages;
    provide one or more target language options to be selected by the user;
    enable the user to create their multilingual content in the user’s desired target languages, based on the selection of the desired target languages of the user;
    enable the user to manually enter their translated content;
    comprise translation capabilities to automatically translate the user content into the desired target languages;
    download, use and display one or more fonts of the target languages;
    comprise a translation software or application, in order to translate the user content into the desired target languages; and
    communicate with one or more translation software or application through the communication unit (216).
  4. The system (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the content creation module (208) is configured to:
    enable the user to create multiple online personalities or avatars, corresponding to each of their desired target languages or target communities wherein the online personalities or avatars comprise one or more of a 2D image, and a 3-D character;
    enable the user to attach different language links or photographs while creating content in their desired target languages;
    enable the user to individually select and curate particular content in each desired target language; and
    create a cohesive, structured, multilingual content which may be posted by the user on their user account.
  5. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the application server (104) is configured to:
    comprise one or more servers in one or more geographical locations, which store information in one or more databases; and
    manage one or more of user accounts, user content, content creation, and content distribution, comprising other functions of a networking / social media application.
  6. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the application platform (218) comprises:
    an interface module (220) configured to enable back-end developers to regulate working and functions of the application platform (218), comprising at least one of: updating the application platform (218), curating or managing user content, managing user accounts, and managing communication with user devices (102) and other external devices; and
    a thread management module (222) configured to manage the creation and maintenance of different language threads for each content posted by the users of the application platform (218), wherein the thread management module (222) is configured to use one or more known content thread management methods.
  7. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the application platform (218) comprises a translation module and a content creation module.
  8. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the application platform (218) comprises one or more of a social media platform, social networking platform, work platform, and integrated platforms, which are used by multiple users for one or more of creating and sharing content, managing user accounts and developing their online/virtual personalities.
  9. A method (300) for simultaneous multilingual content creation and sharing across multiple user devices, comprising:
    enabling a user to simultaneously create and publish multilingual content in user’s desired target languages, by using at least one user device (102) comprising a user application (202); and
    enabling the user to achieve simultaneous creation and distribution of multilingual content in the user’s desired target languages, by using an application server (104) comprising an application platform (218).
  10. The method as claimed in claim 9, comprising:
    displaying, viewing and receiving one or more information and content related to the user, and creating and curating one or more content on the application platform (218);
    providing translations from and into one or more of regional languages, foreign languages, and dialects; and
    enabling the user to create one or more content by adding or integrating one or more multi-media attachments to their multilingual content.
  11. The method as claimed in claim 9, comprising providing a translation module (206) configured for:
    enabling the user to create corresponding content in multiple target languages;
    providing one or more target language options to be selected by the user;
    enabling the user to create their multilingual content in the user’s desired target languages, based on the selection of the desired target languages of the user;
    enabling the user to manually enter their translated content;
    providing translation capabilities to automatically translate the user content into the desired target languages;
    downloading, using and displaying one or more fonts of the target languages;
    proving a translation software or application, in order to translate the user content into the desired target languages; and
    communicating with one or more translation software or application through the communication unit (216).
  12. The method as claimed in claim 9, comprising providing a content creation module (208) configured for:
    enabling the user to create multiple online personalities or avatars, corresponding to each of their desired target languages or target communities, wherein the online personalities or avatars comprise one or more of a 2D image, and a 3-D character;
    enabling the user to attach different language links or photographs while creating content in their desired target languages;
    enabling the user to individually select and curate particular content in each desired target language; and
    creating a cohesive, structured, multilingual content to be posted by the user on their user account.
  13. The method as claimed in claim 9, comprising providing an application server (104) configured for:
    storing information in one or more databases, in one or more servers (104) in one or more geographical locations; and
    managing one or more of user accounts, user content, content creation, and content distribution, and functions of a networking / social media application.
  14. A method (300) for simultaneous multilingual content creation and sharing across multiple user devices, comprising:
    receiving user content in an origin language;
    displaying a choice of multiple target languages to the user;
    creating multilingual content based on the selected target languages;
    modifying the multilingual content;
    creating content threads for each of the target language content; and
    managing content threads for all users.
  15. The method (300) as claimed in claim 14, comprising:
    receiving user content in an origin language, through a user device (102);
    displaying a choice of multiple target languages to the user;
    creating multilingual content based on the selected target languages by using a translation module (206);
    modifying the multilingual content, by using the user device (102);
    creating content threads for each of the target language content by using a thread management module (222); and
    managing content threads for all users by using the thread management module (222).
  16. The method as claimed in claim 14, comprising:
    enabling the user to create corresponding content in multiple target languages;
    providing one or more target language options to be selected by the user;
    enabling the user to create their multilingual content in the user’s desired target languages, based on the selection of the desired target languages of the user;
    enabling the user to manually enter their translated content;
    providing translation capabilities to automatically translate the user content into the desired target languages;
    downloading, using and displaying the fonts of the target languages;
    enabling a translation software or application, in order to translate the user content into the desired target languages; and
    communicating with one or more translation software or applications.
  17. The method (300) as claimed in claim 14, comprising:
    enabling the user to create multiple online personalities or avatars, corresponding to each of their desired target languages or target communities wherein the online personalities or avatars comprise one or more of a 2D image, and a 3-D character, among others;
    enabling the user to attach different language links or photographs while creating content in their desired target languages;
    enabling the user to individually select and curate particular content in each desired target language; and
    creating a cohesive, structured, multilingual content to be posted by the user on their user account.
