Description

Device for connecting a belt or bracelet
Technical field
The present invention relates to a device for attaching a belt or bracelet to a watch case comprising a tube with a built-in lower handle and having a built-in thread mechanism with one or more starts and also comprising an upper handle for rotating or pulling the needle out and out watch cases with the help of a threaded part. According to the International Classification (IPC) it is classified as: A44C5 / 00 (IPC A44C 5/14).
Technical problem
The biggest problem encountered when attaching a belt or bracelet to a wristwatch were how to easily and quickly connect the belt to the watch case and replace the belt with someone else if necessary. To solve this problem, some additional tools are usually needed to remove the needle from the watch case, which sometimes (especially if users do not have adequate tools) is oftenly a problem and can result in belt damage.
State of the art
In the past, some solutions to this problem have been proposed, most commonly with spring-based pins, which compress the needle tip and release it from the watch case (US2392092A, GB1345949A). The problem with this approach is that additional tools are needed to remove the needle from the watch case. There are also solutions with an additional handle by which the spring is compressed by pulling the left or right and pulling the needle out of the watch case (US5483505, W02010072594A1). The disadvantage of this method is that the handle usually has to be pulled with fingertips, which is not always easy due to the small dimensions and resistance of the spring. There are also solutions that use only the housing as a way of attaching the belt (US10258115B2, CN109074028B, US10058149B1 ). The problem with this method is that the belt itself must be connected to a special additional part that fits into the watch case, which means that the case itself must be modified. Background of invention
The main object of the invention is to improve and to ease the way in which watches are fastened, removed and changed.
A further goal is to enable the change of the belt or bracelet on the watch without additional tools and excessive effort, while ensuring the beautiful appearance of the entire installation - belt and device.
The device for attaching a belt or bracelet to a watch case according to the present invention comprises a tube having a built-in handle having a button opening on the underside and inserted together with the tube between two belt layers, the belt having an incised button opening and an opening for connecting the upper handle to the threaded part on the tube. The tube on its longitudinal part has an opening for the threaded part as well as openings on the end sides for the needles that enter or exit the watch case and the other part remains in the tube limited by the edges. Springs are connected to the ends of the needles on one side, and a threaded part is then connected to the opposite ends. The threaded part is inserted into the tube in such a way that its threads with one or more beginnings fit into the threads of the tube located on one or the other side of the opening and that the groove on the threaded part protrudes from the opening of the tube.
The groove on the threaded part coming out of the opening on the tube connects to the grooves of the upper handle which serves to rotate the threaded part and thus move the spring and the needle on the side and consequently pull the needle in or out of the watch case. The upper handle has a button that is used to insert into the hole on the lower handle and fixes the entire design. The upper handle also has a curved button that makes it easier to open or close the upper handle.

Description of invention
The device for connecting the belt or bracelet to the watch case consists of several units which, by connecting according to a certain arrangement, form a device for connecting the belt to the watch case. In the following, we will analyze and show each of these parts and then we will analyze and show the completed device for connecting a belt or bracelet to the watch case and its functionality.
Figure 1 shows a tube (1 ) having an opening (2) in which a threaded part (12) is placed which is connected to the upper handle (8). On the end sides of the tube (1) there are openings (4 and 5) through which the tips of the needles that enter the watch case come out. On its lower side, the tube (1) has a connected lower handle (6) which contains an opening for a button (7) and which is inserted between two layers of belts and serves to position the entire assembly. The tube (1 ) in its interior contains threads (3) cut into the wall of the tube (1 ) on one or the other side of the opening (2).
Figure 2 shows the upper handle (8) which does not have a button (9) that is inserted into the button hole (7) on the lower handle. It also has a curved button (10) that makes it easier to open and close the device without the use of additional tools. The upper handle (8) also comprises grooves (11 ) by means of which the upper handle is connected to the threaded part (12) by means of which rotation is performed and which is inserted into the tube (1 ) on the part of the opening (2) on the tube (1 ) . The top of the upper handle (8) is curved so that it can rotate around the tube (1 ) when opening or closing. Figures 3 and 3a show the threaded part (12) inserted inside the tube (1 ) by fitting the threads (13) on the threaded part (12) into the threads (3) inside the tube (1) and in the position that the groove (14) on the threaded part (12) exits through the opening (2) of the tube (1) and connects to the grooves (11 ) of the upper handle (8). On the end sides of the threaded part (12) there are edges (15 and 16) that can be removed if necessary and to which springs (19 and 20) are attached.
Figures 3b and 3c show a modified threaded part (12) having internal cavities (17 and 18) which can be used to insert a longer spring if required if the dimensions of the device or belt so require.
Figure 3d shows a modified threaded part (12) that does not have a border on the sides (15 and 16) if they are not needed due to the dimensions of the device itself.
Figure 4 shows the springs (19-left and 20-right) that are inserted inside the tube (1 ) by connecting one end of the spring (19 or 20) and fixing it to the end side edges (15 or 16) of the part with threads (12) and the other ends are connected and fixed to the pins (21 and 22) with the edges (23 and 24) that are inserted into the watch case.
Figure 5 shows the needles (21 -left and 22-right) with borders (23-on the left needle and 24-on the right needle) that are inserted inside the tube (1) on its end sides in such a way that one end needles (21 or 22) to the first set of trim (23 or 24) connected to the end of the spring (19 or 20) and the other end with the second set of trim coming out of the tube (1 ).
When the parts of the device for connecting the belt or bracelet to the watch case are connected in the previously described way, we get the entire structure of the device for connecting the belt to the watch case shown in Figure 6.
In Figure 6, the tube (1 ) together with the lower handle (6) is inserted between the two layers of the watch belt so that the opening (2) on the tube (1 ) and the button opening (7) on the lower handle (6) coincide with the corresponding openings in the upper layer of the belt. When the upper lever (8) is in a vertical position, then e.g. the left needle (21 ) with the edges (23) pulled out of the watch case and thus the belt can be removed and replaced if necessary. When the device is positioned between the slots of the watch case and if the upper lever (8) is rotated towards the lower lever (6), ie. in a horizontal position, its rotation rotates the threaded part (12) and consequently moves the left spring (19) and thus the left needle with edges (21) whose tip, when the rotation of the upper handle (8) is completed, or when the button on the upper handle (9) is inserted into the hole on the lower handle (7), inserted into the watch case and fixes the entire design. Figure 7 shows a version of the embodiment when both right and left needles are to be inserted or removed. The upper handle (8) is in this case divided into two independent parts, left (8a) and right (8b), and each part rotates by its rotation two separate threaded parts (12), left (12a) and right (12b), which consequently move or pull out the left and right springs (19 and 20, respectively), which move or pull the left and right needles (21 and 22) out of the watch case. Each part of the upper handle (8) and the left (8a) and right (8b) have separate buttons (9a and 9b) which are inserted into the corresponding button openings on the lower handle (7a and 7b). This design is especially suitable for larger dimensions of the belt or bracelet for a watch.
As we can see from the analysis, the present invention provides an novel, practical and efficient design without the use of additional tools, and which includes significant improvements over the current designs by which the belt is connected to the watch.
In addition, we see that it is possible to make numerous versions according to the invention both aesthetic (shape, size, design, etc.) and functional (listed modified versions of the threaded part, the number of starts on the threads, the possibility of using these springs but also their removal and etc.) nature without abandoning the scope of the invention.
