Abstract

Methods and systems are disclosed enabling multiple aircraft detection systems or sensors to cooperatively inform the operator of a drone aircraft by fusing sensor data to assess and avoid possible threat aircraft. The different detection systems may have different capabilities and accuracies, and may or may not always detect the same threat aircraft. The result of the sensor fusion is a single concise representation of the threats surrounding the drone aircraft to the best ability of the participating sensors.
