Abstract

The present invention relates to a packaging assembly (10) for a product (P). The packaging assembly (10) comprises: (i) a jar (100) that accommodates the product (P), wherein the jar (100) comprises an opening (110) on the top side thereof for taking the product (P) out; (ii) a distributor (200) that is mounted on the jar (100) above the opening (110) thereof, wherein the distributor (200) is intended to be used for distributing a certain amount of the product (P) form the jar (100) to an applicator (300) for applying the product (P), and wherein the distributor (200) defines a space (V) for accommodating the applicator (300) therein; and (iii) a cap (400) that can be detachably engaged with the jar (100) while completely enclosing the distributor (200). The distributor (200) comprises: (i) an annular main body (210) comprising: a central axis (X); and an upper opening (212) and a lower opening (214), both substantially orthogonal to the central axis (X), wherein the annular main body (210) further comprises a shoulder (216) in the vicinity of the lower opening (214), and wherein the shoulder (216) projects inwardly from an inner peripheral surface (218) of the annular main body (210) and extends circumferentially around the central axis (X); (ii) a ring member (220) that is coupled to the annular main body (210) on the lower opening side thereof; and (iii) an elastic mesh sheet (230) that is sandwiched between the annual main body (210) and the ring member (220) and covers the lower opening (214) of the annular main body (210), wherein the elastic mesh sheet (230) is stretched by the ring member (220) at a height where it is substantially flush with an upper surface (216a) of the shoulder (216) of the annular main body (210).
