Abstract
The invention relates to an educational set with audio and visual features comprising a multiple of QR code preparations, an application / software program enabling training in the fields of histology, pathology and microbiology in medicine and health sciences to be learned without any educator at the microscope.
Description
AN EDUCATIONAL SET COMPRISING SMART PREPARATIONS
TECHNICAL FIELD The invention relates to an educational set with audio and visual features comprising a multiple of QR code preparations, an application / software program enabling training in the fields of histology, pathology and microbiology in medicine and health sciences to be learned without any educator at the microscope. BACKGROUND
Educations and tissue analysis in fields such as histology and pathology are generally carried out in the presence of an educator and under the microscope. These educations are provided through objects called preparations, comprising slides, coverslips and tissue samples. Students learn what they see on the preparation either by examining them under a microscope or by transferring the image to a computer screen. A proper education is possible with the availability of an educator or an atlas books on the subject.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION In our invention, different from the method described in the background section, a QR code is integrated on the preparation. And a student can connect to our invention through a display device of our invention, without the need for an educator or an atlas book. Thus, when the QR code is read through the display device, all visual, audio and written contents related to that preparation can be accessed. For example, in a preparation where the heart tissue is examined, all the information there is to be known about that preparation will be accessed by scanning the QR code with the display device. As a result, the student will be able to learn a preparation he / she has handled for the first time alone and in front of the microscope without any additional resources. A safe education will be provided without interfering with a crowd, especially in difficult conditions such as a pandemic.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
A smart preparation educational set subject to our invention comprises a preparation label (1), a QR code (2), a tissue sample (3) included in the preparation and a display device. While the user examines the preparation under the microscope, at the same time, he/she can access the detailed information of the examined preparation by scanning the QR code (2) of the preparation with the display device and learn what he/she should pay attention in the microscope examination
The preparation label (1) is the section where the user participating in the education can see the name of the preparation to be examined. Inside the QR code (2), there is a directing information that leads the user to the source enabling the user to access to the information (structures forming the texture, stains used, etc.) of the preparation to be examined. The tissue sample (3) in the preparation is also placed on the apparatus in the classical way. While the user examines the tissue sample (3) in the preparation under the microscope, he/she has the QR code (2) read on the display device. The display device comprises a wi-fi and bluetooth connection, a camera, a display to view information with a touch screen function, a barcode reader and a software. Thanks to the display device, the user who takes preparation education can access to the visual education videos, photos (at different zoom levels) and documents without the need for another device. For example, let's suppose the training set comprises a hundred preparations.
The person will be able to have the QR code (2) of the preparation to be read from the display device on whichever preparation he is examining and experience his education with his own eyes at the microscope and support it with the visual, audible and written documents on the display device. The software integrated into the display device enables adding photographs of the preparations taken by the user to the memory of the device, thus updates can be made to the preparations in the educational set. Thus, the educational set becomes open to personal and institutional modifications and everyone can design their own educational set. Although the main goal of the innovation subject to the invention is education but it also provides
different advantages such as making the data of the patients collectable, easily accessible, transportable and evaluable without a microscope by integrating a QR code feature of the preparations prepared from the tissues of the patients in hospitals.
Claims
1. An educational set consisting of smart preparations with an integrated software and a display device characterized in that comprising;
- a preparation label (1) where the name of the preparation to be examined can be seen,
- a QR code (2) leading a display device via software to visual training videos, photographs and documents of the tissue examined when scanned with the display device that can read the QR code in order to reach detailed information about the preparation,
- a tissue sample (3) of the preparation to be examined
- a display device with wi-fi and bluetooth connections, a camera, a touch screen with viewing function, a barcode reader and a software.
