Description

Snowboard binding plate
The present invention relates to a plate for a snowboard binding.
A snowboard binding plate is known for the purpose of giving the snowboarder the original flexibility of the binding (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Such a conventional plate is fixed by meshing with a center hole which is a through hole formed in advance in the sole of the binding. In particular, the plate of Patent Document 1 has a structure reviewed from a commercially available one to give the user a new sense of flexibility.
In recent years, there has been a demand to attach a sensor to the board body to acquire running data such as the rotation angle and downhill speed of the board body while snowboarding. Alternatively, there is also a request to accommodate some small items attached to the board body. Alternatively, there is also a request that a GPS device be attached to the board body for the purpose of preventing theft. These are, in other words, the desire to attach some case to the board body.
International Publication No. 2018/189984
However, since the board body is almost plate-shaped, it is difficult to process the board body and attach such a case. Further, since the binding attached to the board body is also formed with the minimum necessary structure, it is difficult to attach such a case. Processing the board body or binding to form a location for such a case may affect the operability and runnability of the snowboard. For this reason, it is not preferable to process the board body or binding so as to change the current outer shape. Therefore, at present, it is difficult to attach a sensor, an accessory case, or a GPS device to a board body or a binding without affecting the running performance.
The present invention takes into consideration the above-mentioned prior art, and can form a space in the board body and the binding without affecting the operability and running performance of the snowboard, and can reliably accommodate the case in the space. It is intended to provide a plate for snowboard bindings.
In order to achieve the above object, in the present invention, a ring that meshes with a center hole, which is a through hole formed in the sole of a binding to be attached to a substantially plate-shaped board body, and a ring that engages with the ring. A cup that is combined, with a bottom forming the bottom surface of the cup, a side extending upward from the outer peripheral edge of the bottom, and extending outward from the upper end of the side. It has a cup including a flange portion, a screw hole provided through the bottom portion for inserting a screw to be screwed into the board body, and an insertion hole corresponding to the screw hole. Provided is a snowboard binding plate comprising a case housed in the cup.
Preferably, the bottom portion has a flat region having a flush surface extending in a circular shape from the center thereof to a portion including the screw hole, and the bottom surface of the case is formed so that the entire surface thereof is flush flat. The flat area and the bottom surface of the case are in close contact with each other.
Preferably, the bottom portion has a hole portion which is a through hole in the central portion thereof, and at least one bridge portion crossing the hole portion is formed.
Preferably, the convex portion and the concave portion are formed so as to have a continuous concave-convex shape with respect to the circumferential direction of the ring, and the convex portion and the concave portion are continuously formed from the upper surface to the inner side surface of the ring. ..
Preferably, the locking piece projects upward on the outer peripheral edge side of the upper surface of the ring, and a notch portion is formed on the outer peripheral edge side of the flange portion so as to accommodate the locking piece. ..
According to the present invention, since the case is housed in the space inside the cup constituting the plate housed in the sole of the binding, the board body and the binding used conventionally are not processed. Therefore, a space can be formed in the board body and the binding without affecting the operability and running performance of the snowboard, and the case can be reliably accommodated in the space. In addition, since the case has an insertion hole corresponding to the screw hole, the head of the screw arranged in the screw hole protrudes into the insertion hole to fix the position of the case, and the case moves in the circumferential direction. It is prevented from rotating. At this time, if the screw hole has a perfect circular shape, the rotation of the case as well as the cup is suppressed.
In addition, since the flat area arranged on the bottom of the cup and the bottom of the case are in close contact with each other on a flat surface, even if the plate is pressed by being stepped on by a foot, the force can be received on the entire surface of the flat surface. It is possible to prevent the case from being damaged as much as possible. Further, by providing the flat region, the case does not wobble, the height of the case can be made to be about the same as the height of the side portion, and the space inside the cup can be efficiently used.
Further, by providing a hole portion, flexibility can be imparted to the plate as a whole, and further, by providing a bridge portion here, a certain degree of rigidity can be imparted. That is, although the hole portion alone is too soft and affects the operability, the rigidity can be imparted by providing at least one bridge portion, and the operability that is neither too soft nor too hard can be provided. This contributes to not affecting the operability and running performance of the snowboard even if the plate is provided with a space for accommodating the case.
Further, by providing the ring with a convex portion and a concave portion, the ring itself can be easily twisted, and a certain degree of flexibility can be imparted to the plate. Therefore, it is possible to give the user just the right operability. This contributes to not affecting the operability and running performance of the snowboard even if the plate is provided with a space for accommodating the case. Further, due to the presence of the convex portion and the concave portion, the shape may be slightly changed due to shrinkage during molding by the mold. This leads to improved productivity.
Further, since the locking piece and the notch portion are formed on the outer peripheral edge side of the ring and the flange portion, the strength can be improved as compared with providing a hole in the flange portion and fitting a protrusion protruding from the ring into the hole. can. That is, it is not preferable to form such a protrusion on the resin ring because the strength is weak because it breaks immediately.

As shown in FIG. 1, the snowboard binding plate 1 according to the present invention is housed in a binding B to be attached to a substantially plate-shaped board body (not shown) used for snowboarding. .. The binding B is for fixing the snow boots worn by the user, so that the user can slide on the snow surface together with the board body. The binding B has a base plate B1 in close contact with the board body at the sole thereof, and the plate 1 is housed in a center hole B2 which is a through hole formed in the base plate B1. After the plate 1 is housed in the center hole B2, a cover material (not shown) made of a flexible material is covered on the plate 1. This cover material is called a foot cover or pad.
In addition, the binding B is equipped with a highback B3 that supports the calf from the ankle and a heel cup B4 that is placed under the highback B3 to fix the ankle and heel. The front side of the snow boot is covered and fixed with ankle strap B5 around the ankle and toe strap B6 around the toe. The snowboard binding plate 1 according to the present invention may be referred to as a center disc.
The snowboard binding plate 1 according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 to 8. On the outer circumference of the center hole B2, teeth (not shown) having a fine uneven shape are formed. The plate 1 has a ring 2, and a tooth portion 3 for meshing with the tooth is formed on the outer peripheral lower surface (bottom surface) of the ring 2. A cup 4 is engaged with the ring 2. The cup 4 has a bottom portion 4a forming the bottom surface thereof, a side portion 4b extending upward from the outer peripheral edge of the bottom portion 4a, and a flange extending outward from the upper end of the side portion 4b. It includes a part 4c.
The plate 1 is fixed to the board body via the screw 5. The screw 5 is screwed into the board body through a screw hole 6 provided so as to penetrate the bottom 4a of the cup 4. A case 7 is housed in the cup 4. An insertion hole 8 corresponding to the screw hole 6 is formed in the case 7, and the head of the screw 5 is arranged in the insertion hole 8. For example, when there are four screw holes 6 as shown in the figure, four insertion holes 8 are formed at the same positions in the case 7.
As described above, according to the present invention, the case 7 is housed in the space inside the cup 4 constituting the plate 1 housed in the base plate B1 which is the sole of the binding B. The binding B is not processed. Therefore, a space can be formed in the board body and the binding B without affecting the operability and running performance of the snowboard, and the case 7 can be reliably accommodated in the space. Further, since the insertion hole 8 corresponding to the screw hole 6 is formed in the case 7, the head of the screw 5 arranged in the screw hole 6 protrudes into the insertion hole 8 to fix the position of the case 7. Therefore, the case 7 is prevented from rotating in the circumferential direction. At this time, if the screw hole 6 has a perfect circular shape, the rotation of the case 7 as well as the cup 4 is suppressed. That is, if the screw hole 6 has a perfect circular shape, the screw 5 is securely fixed at the position of the screw hole 6, so that the case 7 fixed by the screw 5 is also surely fixed at that position. .. The ring 2 and the cup 4 can be formed of a resin, metal, carbon material, or the like. If the ring 2 and the cup 4 are made of different materials, for example, the ring 2 is made of resin and the cup 4 is made of metal (for example, titanium), these different materials are locked to each other to form a plate. It is preferable because it gives better operability.
The bottom portion 4a has a flat region 9 having a flush surface extending in a circular shape from the center thereof to a portion including the screw hole 6 (flat region 9 shown by a dotted line in FIG. 5). In other words, the flat region 9 does not have a groove-like shape with a bottom surface or an uneven shape such as a raised surface, and a screw hole 6 which is a through hole and a hole portion 10 which will be described later are arranged. There is only. The bottom surface of the case 7 is also formed so that the entire surface is flush and flat. Therefore, when the case 7 is housed in the cup 4, the flat region 9 and the bottom surface of the case 7 are in close contact with each other.
In this way, the flat region 9 arranged on the bottom of the cup 4 and the bottom surface of the case 7 are in close contact with each other on a flat surface, so that even if the plate 1 is pressed by being stepped on by a foot, the force is flat. It can be received on the entire surface of the case 7 and can be prevented from being damaged as much as possible. Further, by providing the flat region 9, the case 7 does not wobble, the height of the case 7 can be made to be about the same as the height of the side portion 4b, and the space inside the cup 4 can be efficiently used.
On the other hand, the bottom portion 4a of the cup 4 is provided with a hole portion 10 which is a through hole in the central portion thereof. Since the cup 4 can be bent to some extent by the presence of the hole 10, the operability for the user is improved. Further, at least one bridge portion 11 may be formed so as to cross the hole portion 10. That is, since at least one bridge portion 11 is arranged, there are at least two holes 10. As is clear from FIG. 5, in this example, an example in which the middle of one bridge portion 11 is branched is shown, and therefore there are three holes 10. The bridge portion 11 may have a linear shape or a curved line as shown in the example of the figure.
By providing such a hole portion 10, the flexibility of the plate 1 as a whole can be imparted, and by further providing the bridge portion 11 here, a certain degree of rigidity can be imparted. That is, although the hole 10 alone is too soft and affects the operability, the rigidity can be imparted by providing at least one bridge portion 11, and the operability that is neither too soft nor too hard can be provided. This contributes to not affecting the operability and running performance of the snowboard even if the plate 1 is provided with a space for accommodating the case 7.
Further, the ring 2 is formed with a convex portion 12 and a concave portion 13 having a concavo-convex shape continuous with respect to the circumferential direction. The convex portion 12 and the concave portion 13 are continuously formed from the upper surface to the inner side surface of the ring 2.
By providing the convex portion 12 and the concave portion 13 on the ring 2 in this way, the ring 2 itself is easily twisted, and a certain degree of flexibility can be imparted to the plate 1. Therefore, it is possible to give the user just the right operability. This contributes to not affecting the operability and running performance of the snowboard even if the plate 1 is provided with a space for accommodating the case 7. Further, the presence of the convex portion 12 and the concave portion 13 allows the shape to be slightly changed due to shrinkage during molding by the mold. This leads to improved productivity.
Further, the locking piece 14 projects upward on the upper surface of the ring 2 and on the outer peripheral edge side. A notch portion 15 is formed on the outer peripheral edge side of the flange portion 4c of the cup 4 so as to accommodate the locking piece 14.
Since the locking piece 14 and the notch portion 15 are formed on the outer peripheral edge side of the ring 2 and the flange portion 4c in this way, a hole is provided in the flange portion 4c and a protrusion protruding from the ring 2 is fitted therein. It is possible to improve the strength. That is, it is not preferable to form such a protrusion on the resin ring because the strength is weak because it breaks immediately. Further, since the locking piece 14 and the notch portion 15 are formed on the outer peripheral edge side of the ring 2 and the cup 4, it is easy to process and is preferable from the viewpoint of productivity. As shown in the figure, at least one locking piece 14 and a notch portion 15 having different sizes from the others (in the figure, there are four large locking pieces 14 and the notch portion 15 every 90 °, and every 30 ° in between. By providing (12 small locking pieces 14 and 12 notches 15) in the ring 2, it is possible to easily align the ring 2 with the cup 4.
As is clear from FIG. 8, when the acceleration sensor, the rotation angle detection sensor, or the speed sensor is housed in the case 7, a connector portion 16 for external connection may be provided (for example, a USB connector). Further, in the present invention, as the case 7, an accessory case or a GPS device can also be applied. When the cup 4 is attached to the board body, the head of the screw 5 protrudes upward from the bottom 4a, so that the case 7 can be easily housed in the cup 4 simply by dropping the screw hole 6 in accordance with the screw hole 6. This point is also easy to handle. Then, since the screw hole 6 is caught in the rotation direction by the head of the screw 5, the case 7 does not rotate once the case 7 is housed. Therefore, even a sensor that is affected by the rotation of the case 7 (for example, a rotation angle sensor with respect to the traveling direction) can be accommodated and applied in the case 7.
