Description

一种免HDMI接口的显示设备及Type接口兼容HDMI的方法 技术领域
本发明涉及显示设备技术领域,具体涉及一种免HDMI接口的显示设备及Type接口兼容HDMI的方法。
背景技术
随着TypeC信号设备的越来越多,便携式显示设备也越来越普及。由于TypeC接口体积小,同时能够供电和输出信号,便携式显示设备都有用到TypeC接口。
但现有的显示设备还均设有HDMI接口,使得显示设备的体积较大,携带不是很方便。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于针对现有技术的缺陷和不足,提供一种免HDMI接口的显示设备,具有TypeC接口能够兼容HDMI信号,且体积小、便于携带的优势。
为实现上述目的,本发明采用的技术方案是:一种免HDMI接口的显示设备,包括:TypeC接口;TypeC协议芯片;切换芯片;DP开关;以及,设有DP接收端和HDMI接收端的显示器主控芯片;所述TypeC接口通过所述切换芯片及所述DP开关连接到所述显示器主控芯片的DP接收端和HDMI接收端;所述TypeC接口的CC引脚与所述TypeC协议芯片相连,用于所述TypeC协议芯片判断传输信号是HDMI信号还是TypeC信号,以及判断所述传输信号的正反插状态;所述TypeC协议芯片还用于控制所述切换芯片将所述传输信号切换为正插状态;所述TypeC协议芯片还用于控制所述DP开关将正插状态的所述 TypeC信号接到所述DP接收端,将正插状态的所述HDMI信号接到所述HDMI接收端。

本实施例涉及一种免HDMI接口的显示设备,如图1所示,包括:TypeC接口1;TypeC协议芯片3;切换芯片4;DP开关5;以及,设有DP接收端6和HDMI接收端7的显示器主控芯片8。
在此应用中,因为存在插在TypeC接口1的插入设备的正反插的问题,所以需要交换。CC引脚是TypeC接口1中的一对差分信号线,用来和TypeC协议芯片3连通。HPD是显示器主控芯片8的热插拔检测端,只有一个引脚,显示器主控芯片8控制这个引脚告知HDMI插入设备,显示端是否已经连接。当要用HDMI插入设备时,需要先外接一个一头是HDMI另外一头是TypeC的线材,HDMI是输入端,TypeC是输出端。
具体的,TypeC接口1通过切换芯片4及DP开关5连接到显示器主控芯片8的DP接收端6和HDMI接收端7。TypeC接口1的CC引脚与TypeC协议芯片3相连,用于TypeC协议芯片3判断传输信号是HDMI信号还是TypeC信号,以及判断传输信号的正反插状态。TypeC协议芯片3还用于控制切换芯片4将传输信号切换为正插状态。TypeC协议芯片3还用于控制DP开关5将正插状态的TypeC信号接到所述DP接收端6,将正插状态的HDMI信号接到HDMI接收端7。
TypeC协议芯片3通过TypeC接口1的CC引脚与插入设备连通,当连通成功,则输入信号是TypeC信号,当连通不成功,则输入信号是HDMI信号, 同时TypeC协议芯片3根据CC引脚的接地的状态去判断输入信号的正反插状态。TypeC接口1能够兼容HDMI信号源,使得该显示设备无需设置HDMI接口,能够做得更小,更加便于携带。
具体的,显示器主控芯片8的型号为RTD2795UT。RTD2795UT有两个DP接收端6和两个HDMI接收端7。TypeC信号进来是接到DP接收端6(TypeC传输的视频信号是DP格式的),HDMI信号就连接到HDMI接收端7。
具体的,在本实施例中,切换芯片4的型号为TI460。TI460可以将输入信号的正负交换然后再输出。
在其他实施例中,可以有一个或者多个TypeC接口1。
本发明还提供一种Type接口兼容HDMI的方法,包括以下步骤:如图2所示,
S1、初始状态时,TypeC协议芯片3通过选择开关与TypeC接口1连通,TypeC协议芯片3通过TypeC接口1的CC引脚与插入设备连通,判断输入信号是HDMI信号还是TypeC信号,同时判断所述传输信号的正反插状态;当连通成功,则输入信号是TypeC信号,当连通不成功,则输入信号是HDMI信号,同时TypeC协议芯片3根据CC引脚的接地的状态去判断输入信号的正反插状态;
S2、当TypeC协议芯片3判断输入信号是TypeC信号、且TypeC信号为正插状态时,切换芯片4不切换TypeC信号的正反状态;当TypeC协议芯片3判断输入信号是TypeC信号、且TypeC信号为反插状态时,TypeC协议芯片3控制切换芯片4将TypeC信号切换为正插状态;当TypeC协议芯片3判断输入信号是HDMI信号、且HDMI信号为正插状态时,切换芯片4不切换HDMI信号的正反状态;当TypeC协议芯片3判断输入信号是HDMI信号、且HDMI信 号为反插状态时,TypeC协议芯片3控制切换芯片4将HDMI信号切换为正插状态;
S3、接着,当输入信号是TypeC信号时,TypeC协议芯片3控制DP开关5将正插状态的TypeC信号接到显示器主控芯片8的DP接收端6;当输入信号是HDMI信号时,TypeC协议芯片3控制DP开关5将正插状态的HDMI信号接到显示器主控芯片8的HDMI接收端7;
S31、当输入信号是HDMI信号时,执行完S3的步骤后,TypeC协议芯片3反控制选择开关2,使TypeC接口1的CC引脚与显示器主控芯片8的热插拔检测端连通;
S4、显示器主控芯片8将接收到的TypeC信号或HDMI信号处理后输出到处理器。
该方法使得TypeC接口能够兼容HDMI输入源,无论输入的是TypeC信号还是HDMI信号都能够使用,而且还使得用该方法的显示设备无需设置HDMI接口,能够做得更小,更加便于携带。
