Description

BENDABLE FLEXIBLE HOSE
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a bendable flexible hose made of austenitic stainless steel material, consisting of parallel knuckles, used so as to ensure safer and easier wiring, especially in electrical installations.
State of the Art
Protective hoses are used so as to prevent damage to the cables providing electric current in wiring processes.
Steel spiral pipes are used to protect the cables, as the cables are easily corroded and damaged where the electrical cables are mobile in the state of the art. Said steel hoses are not bendable by hand.
Galvanized coated EMT hoses are used in the wiring processes in another available method. However, a special apparatus must be used so as to bend the hoses since they cannot be bent manually and non-bendable straight pipes are very difficult to transport.
As a result due to the abovementioned disadvantages and the insufficiency of the current solutions regarding the subject matter, development is required to be made in the relevant technical field.
Aim of the Invention
The invention aims to solve the abovementioned disadvantages by being inspired by the current conditions.
The main aim of the present invention is to obtain a bendable flexible hose made of austenitic stainless steel material, consisting of parallel knuckles, used so as to ensure a safer and easier wiring process.
Another aim of the invention is to provide easy assembly and disassembly, as it does not need an additional apparatus for bending. Another aim of the invention is to obtain a hose with non-flame characteristic, which has a higher strength and enables long-lasting use
Another aim of the invention is to provide advantages in high-length cable transport operations, as it can be produced in one piece up to 1500 m.
Another aim of the invention is to save labor, as it does not require welding and can be bent manually.
The structural and characteristic features of the present invention will be understood clearly by the following drawings and the detailed description made with reference to these drawings and therefore the evaluation shall be made by taking these figures and the detailed description into consideration.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the inventive hose are described by means of examples only for clarifying the subject matter.
In particular, the present invention is a bendable flexible hose made of austenitic stainless steel material, consisting of parallel knuckles, used so as to ensure safer and easier wiring, especially in electrical installations. It is suitable for outdoor and indoor use in areas such as tunnels, mines, power plants, shopping malls, hospitals, residences, nuclear facilities and factories.
The inventive hose is characterized in that; it is made of austenitic stainless steel material to provide hand bendability.
The inventive hose can be fixed to the wall with the single and double hole clamps seen in figure 2, and to the ceiling with the hanging clamp seen in figure 3. While the compression type muffs shown in Figure 4 are used to connect the hoses, compression type couplings can also be used to connect hoses to electrical junction boxes or housings and it provides practical and fast installation of hoses without the need for additional tools. It facilitates cable pulling by forming a smooth inner wall inside.
The inventive hose and the fittings used for its assembly comply with the TS EN 61386 standard. This standard deals with specifications for piping systems, including pipes and pipe fittings, for the protection and installation of insulated conductors or cables in electrical installations, communication systems up to 1000 V AC or 1500 V DC.
The inventive hose is preferably in the form of T, and it can be bent manually without the need for any apparatus and without much power with its flexible structure, and it has a structure that can remain in the form in which it is bent. Thus, it provides an easier assembly and disassembly opportunity. The inventive hose is produced from austenitic stainless steel and the fittings are made of galvanized carbon steel. While the production of T-formed hoses in austenitic stainless steel provides higher corrosion resistance compared to galvanized steel EMT pipes, it also allows longer life use.
The advantages of the inventive hose are as follows:
• It is highly resistant to corrosion with its stainless steel material structure. • It has a longer life than EMT pipe with its stainless steel material structure.
• It is suitable for cable protection applications in hygienic environments with the help of its stainless steel material structure.
• It is suitable for use in high-length cable transport operations, as it can be produced in one piece up to 1500 m. • It saves labor, as it does not require welding and can be bent manually.
• It can be used in any area where sealing up to IP44 is required with the help of its fittings.
• It has flame the retardant-feature.
It has a semi-flexible feature and can be easily bent manually and does not cause any cross-sectional narrowing after bending with the special form of the invention. This special form is provided by the dimensions given in the table below. In one embodiment of the invention, the preferred dimensions of the hose, whose technical drawing is given in Figure 1 , are given in Table 1 below.
Table 1
Figure imgf000006_0001
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, care should be taken not to bend the values below the minimum bending radius in order for the cables inside to work without deformation where the hose needs to be bent as shown in Figure 5. Preferred values are given in Table 2 below:
Table 2
Figure imgf000006_0002
In Figure 6, the connection stages of the inventive hose with the compression muff, and in Figure 7, the connection with the compression coupling is shown.
The inventive hose has a semi-flexible structure that can be bent manually and remain in the form in which it is bent, without the need for any apparatus with the help of its above-mentioned features. It does not require welding. The cost and labor force are significantly reduced as the cutting process is done easily with the cutting apparatus,
