Abstract

The present invention discloses a reconfigurable Multilingual Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) keyboard provided with touch sensing. The present invention includes an adaptive user interface in conjunction with a keyboard controller operated with a voice command or by using a predefined hardware key selection for in a predefined operating system environment, a user desired changeable language characters on the LCD keyboard by using the adaptive user interface, a control unit to process a user command provided by the adaptive user interface for changing keyboard character from one to another user desired language characters, the control unit is configured to connect with a memory unit for storing information about multilingual characters in their respective computer binary code. Further, the LCD keyboard is further coated with a protection film layer, which is consisting of a fiberglass screen coated glass, a screen ceramic coated glass and the like.

Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[001] The present invention relates to a multilingual keyboard technology. The invention more particularly related to a reconfigurable multilingual liquid crystal display (LCD) keyboard provided with touch sensing.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[002] Linguistic hurdles while using computer keyboard in different regions around the world have long felt need while typing by other noncitizen or any outsider and non-understanding of characters provided on the keyboard in that region by any computer system manufacturer. Some aspects of the present invention of linguistics have attempted to resolve this keyboard typing barriers by providing the connections between the portable binary code while communicating between the control unit and keyboard controller or any relevant keyboard driver. Further, analysis of the characters and the symbols representative of those sounds has been directed towards the creation of a universal alphabet that encapsulates the finite sounds of which the human voice is capable of making. Another obstacle is reconfigurable mapping or associating these new characters and symbols for each of the individual languages so that the multilingual language can be easily used on the keyboard and understood by anyone. A new alphabet is inadequate if it is not mapped and reconfigured to another language so that the new alphabet can be learned in the context of the pre-existing language by comparison of words and phrases. Typing linguistics or languages is further hampered by traditional and archaic single-language computer input devices, such as the traditional keyboard.
[003] There are several problems with the existing input devices for personal computers, personal digital assistants (“PDAs”) and other electronic devices consist of a fixed set of physical keys hard-coded to input one or more predefined characters. One of the most prevalent input devices is a QWERTY style keyboard, so-named by the first six characters on the keys in the upper-left hand portion of the keyboard.
[004] While, in the present invention, these issues has been analysed and resolved, and permits the users to re-configure the character I language alphabets I scripts or a portion of the linguistic keys, generally, which is fixed part of the conventional keyboards.
[005] Accordingly, there remains a need in the prior art for a technical convergence to make an input device, apparatus and method compact, it is in this context that the present invention provides an implementation of the reconfigurable Multilingual Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) keyboard provided with touch sensing. Therefore, it would be useful and desirable to have a reconfigurable linguistic input device, apparatus and method to meet the above-mentioned needs.
SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT INVENTION
[006] The present invention provides an input device, apparatus, system and method for reconfigurable Multilingual Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) keyboard provided with touch sensing. The present invention have been developed a novel efficient LCD display keys / keyboard and method
2 thereof, which solves the problem: I. how does the user work on the computer system in case of other region, from where the user does not belong and understand the script I character provided on the keyboard. II. How does this non-understanding subject can be converted into understanding subject for any person anywhere in the world, and how does this achieve the normal typing, in which the user is comfortable and can easily type and removing the typing restriction in concern for linguistic hurdles while using conventional input keys/keyboard, which has all the advantages of the prior art and none of the disadvantages.
[007] One important aspect of the present invention is to develop an input device, system and method having novel hardware and user interface I software interaction, in order to answer above said questions, by providing one universal and reconfigurable LCD keys / keyboard, which has been performed all kind of typing operations ensuring no outsider will be restricted to use any kind of keyboard due to non-understanding or non-manufacturing of the keyboard in which the outsider is convenient and can easily type while using the computer system.
[008] Another important aspects of the present invention, which is based on a user with the option to create customized layouts of a LCD keyboard with touch sensing to increase typing efficiency, and to permit unbroken swapping between different languages, fonts and configurations. Additionally, it would be desirable to provide a LCD keyboard that serves as an adaptable and dynamic typing device and tool capable of multilingual typing.
3 [009] Another important aspects of the present invention, which can work well with any kind of operating system, processor, but not limited to, the Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and the like, PC, Microcontroller and with other known processors to have computer algorithms and instruction up gradation for supporting many applications domain where the aforesaid problems to solution is required.
[010] In this respect, before explaining at least one object of the invention in detail, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited in its application to the details of set of rules and to the arrangements of the various models set forth in the following description or illustrated in the drawings. The invention is capable of other objects and of being practiced and carried out in various ways, according to the need of that industry. Also, it is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology employed herein are for the purpose of description and should not be regarded as limiting.
[011] These together with other objects of the invention, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the invention, are pointed out with particularity in the disclosure. For a better understanding of the invention, its operating advantages and the specific objects attained by its uses, reference should be made to the accompanying drawings and descriptive matter in which there are illustrated preferred embodiments of the invention.

[012] The invention will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[016] While the present invention is described herein by way of example using embodiments and illustrative drawings, those skilled in the art will recognize that the invention is not limited to the embodiments of drawing or drawings described and are not intended to represent the scale of the various components. Further, some components that may form a part of the invention may not be illustrated in certain figures, for ease of illustration, and such omissions do not limit the embodiments outlined in any way. It should be understood that the drawings and detailed description thereto are not intended to limit the invention to the particular
5 form disclosed, but on the contrary, the invention is to cover all modifications, equivalents, and alternatives falling within the scope of the present invention as defined by the appended claims. [019] The present invention discloses a reconfigurable Multilingual Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) keyboard provided with touch sensing. The present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 -3, which is comprised of, but not limited to, an adaptive user interface in conjunction with a keyboard controller operated with a voice command or by using a predefined hardware key selection for in a predefined operating system environment, a user desired changeable language characters on the LCD keyboard by using
7 the adaptive user interface, a control unit to process a user command provided by the adaptive user interface for changing keyboard character from one to another user desired language characters, the control unit is configured to connect with a memory unit for storing information about multilingual characters in their respective computer binary code. Further, the LCD keyboard is further coated with a protection film layer, which is consisting of a fiberglass screen coated glass, a screen ceramic coated glass and the like.
[020] In accordance with another embodiment of the present invention, the control unit is adapted to re-configure the set of respective binary code in the user desired display key on receiving the user command.
Best Mode of the present invention
[021] In accordance with another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the control unit is designed in such a way that can process and install further accumulation of any new character on the LCD keyboard and its respective computer binary code, enabling and making portable multilingual characters with their respective computer binary code stored in the memory unit, as shown in FIG. 3.
[022] In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the user command, while is in the form of predefined hardware key selection is using functional keys, control keys, navigation keys and a combination thereof. This commanding feature further optionally provided with another hardware incorporation such as, but not limited to, the pointing device or mouse touchpad and the like, as shown in FIG. 2.
8 [023] In accordance with another embodiment of the present invention, the LCD keyboard is further coated with a protection film layer, preferably which is consisting of, but not limited to, a fiberglass Screen Coated Glass, a Screen Ceramic Coated glass and the like.
[024] In accordance with another embodiment of the present invention, the LCD keyboard is further configured to connect with a lighting circuitry. The lighting circuitry is provided to draw a RGB color pixel arrangement on the user desired characters on the LCD keyboard accordingly. The lighting circuitry can consist of, but not limited to, a dedicated microprocessor unit, a housing to place all electronic components, its dedicated RAM, ROM or any relevant memory unit.
[025] The word “interfaces” “module” “steps”, as used herein, refers to logic embodied in hardware or firmware, or to a collection of software instructions, written in a programming language, such as, for example, Java, C, Python or assembly. One or more software instructions in the modules may be embedded in firmware, such as an EPROM. It will be appreciated that modules may comprised connected logic units, such as gates and flip-flops, and may comprise programmable units, such as programmable gate arrays or processors. The modules described herein may be implemented as either software and/or hardware modules and may be stored in any type of computer-readable medium or other computer storage device. Further, in various embodiments, the processor is one of, but not limited to, a general-purpose processor, an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) and a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) processor. Furthermore, the data repository may be a
9 cloud-based storage or a hard disk drive (HDD), Solid state drive (SSD), flash drive, ROM or any other data storage means.
[026] Further, an exemplary computer system for implementing aforesaid embodiments consistent with the present disclosure can be used with various variations of computer system that may be used for implementing the apparatus for classification and identification of a signal in over the air OTA system. Computer system may comprise a central processing unit (“CPU” or “processor”). Processor may comprise at least one data processor for executing program components for executing user or system-generated requests. A user may include a person, a person using a device such as such as those included in this disclosure, or such a device itself. The processor may include specialized processing units such as Field Programmable Gate Arrays FPGA, integrated system (bus) controllers, memory management control units, floating point units, graphics processing units, digital signal processing units, etc. The processor may include a microprocessor, such as AMD Athlon, Duron or Opteron, ARM’s application, embedded or secure processors, IBM PowerPC, Intel’s Core, Itanium, Xeon, Celeron or other line of processors, etc. The processor may be implemented using mainframe, distributed processor, multi-core, parallel, grid, or other architectures. Some embodiments may utilize embedded technologies like applicationspecific integrated circuits (ASICs), digital signal processors (DSPs), Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), etc.
[027] It is to be cleared from the above disclosure that the present invention that can be implemented on any computing device such as, but
10 not limited to, Desktop Computer, laptop, or PDA etc. for providing linguistic input from the LCD keyboard. All these devices will be arranged in aforesaid arrangement / configuration with few conventional and novel hardware interaction. Therefore, all the components for a specific type of will be needed.
[028] In some embodiments, the processor may be disposed in communication with one or more memory devices (e.g., RAM, ROM, etc.) via a storage interface. The storage interface may connect to memory devices including, without limitation, memory drives, removable disc drives, etc., employing connection protocols such as serial advanced technology attachment (SATA), integrated drive electronics (IDE), IEEE- 1394, universal serial bus (USB), fiber channel, small computer systems interface (SCSI), etc. The memory drives may further include a drum, magnetic disc drive, magneto-optical drive, optical drive, redundant array of independent discs (RAID), solid-state memory devices, solid-state drives, etc. The memory devices may store a collection of program or database components, including, without limitation, an operating system, user interface application, web browser, mail server, mail client, user/application data(e.g., any data variables or data records discussed in this disclosure), etc. The operating system may facilitate resource management and operation of the computer system. Examples of operating systems include, without limitation, Apple Macintosh OS X, Unix, Unix-like system distributions (e.g., Berkeley Software Distribution (BSD), FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, etc.), Linux distributions (e.g., Red
11 Hat, Ubuntu, Kubuntu, etc.), IBM OS/2, Microsoft Windows (XP, Vista/7/8, etc.), Apple iOS, Google Android, Blackberry OS, or the like.
[029] It is to be understood that the above description is intended to be illustrative, and not restrictive. For example, the above-discussed embodiments may be used in combination with each other. Many other embodiments will be apparent to those of skill in the art upon reviewing the above description.
[030] The benefits and advantages which may be provided by the present invention have been described above with regard to specific embodiments. These benefits and advantages, and any elements or limitations that may cause them to occur or to become more pronounced are not to be construed as critical, required, or essential features of any or all of the embodiments.
[031] While the present invention has been described with reference to particular embodiments, it should be understood that the embodiments are illustrative and that the scope of the invention is not limited to these embodiments. Many variations, modifications, additions and improvements to the embodiments described above are possible. It is contemplated that these variations, modifications, additions and improvements fall within the scope of the invention.

Claims

I Claim:
1. A reconfigurable Multilingual Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) keyboard provided with touch sensing, comprising: an adaptive user interface in conjunction with a keyboard controller operated with a voice command or by using a predefined hardware key selection for a predefined operating system environment; a user desired changeable language characters on the LCD keyboard by using the adaptive user interface; a control unit to process a user command provided by the adaptive user interface for changing keyboard character from one to another in the user desired language characters; wherein the control unit is configured to connect with a memory unit for storing information about multilingual characters in their respective computer binary code.
2. The system as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the control unit is adaptively designed to process and install further any new character on the LCD keyboard and its respective computer binary code, enabling and making portable multilingual characters with its respective computer binary code stored in the memory unit.
3. The system as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the user command, while is in the form of predefined hardware key selection is using functional keys, control keys, navigation keys and a combination thereof.
4. The system as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the control unit is adapted to reconfigure the set of respective binary code in the user desired display key on receiving the user command.
5. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the LCD keyboard is further coated with a protection film layer.
6. The system as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the protection film layer is consisting of a fiberglass screen coated glass, a screen ceramic coated glass and the like.
7. The method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the LCD keyboard is further configured to connect with a lighting circuitry.
8. The method as claimed in claim 7, wherein the lighting circuitry is provided to draw a RGB color pixel arrangement on the user desired characters on the LCD keyboard accordingly.
