Description

A BEVERAGE SERVICING UNIT
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to a beverage servicing unit comprising at least one cooking chamber connected onto a platform for providing cooking of the beverage in beverage cooking vending machines, and at least one first drive element where said cooking chamber is connected in a manner enabling rotation of the cooking chamber in its own axis.
PRIOR ART
Turkish coffee has an important place in Turkish culture and it is among the oldest coffee preparation and cooking methods as from the Ottoman Empire until today. Turkish coffee has a unique identity and tradition thanks to its unique taste, foam, smell, presentation manner. Turkish coffee is the only coffee type which is presented together with its grounds.
Coffee cooking vending machines are produced in two different types which function with or without money and which can prepare coffee by pressing a single button. Coffee cooking vending machines which function with money do not function when no money is put therein. Coffee cooking vending machines which function without money are beverage cooking vending machines which do not have money putting unit therein. Hotels, companies and dormitories generally prefer to use coffee cooking vending machine as the hot beverage cooking vending machine. Thus, it is possible to see tea-coffee cooking vending machines in such places. Since the used tea-coffee cooking vending machines prepare hot beverages, they are put into service as hot beverage vending machines. Cleaning and filling of the used vending machines are the duty of the company which rents these machines.
The present hot beverage cooking vending machines realize coffee service by pouring hot water onto instant coffee or by grinding coffee beans at thickness between 150 - 200 microns in a grinder and by taking the aroma of the coffee by the high pressured water passed through these grinded coffee beans. However, none of these methods is convenient for cooking Turkish coffee.
Turkish coffee is prepared by heating coffee powder, grinded with thickness of 100 microns, with water up to a specific temperature and finalizing cooking at a correct point. Correct amount of coffee, sugar and water must be put into a coffee pot, and powder coffee must be boiled in water and cooked at suitable heat. It is different from all other coffee brewing methods in the world. Although machines with different functionality for the other brewing methods have been in service for years, the machines developed for preparation of Turkish coffee are only for household usage. Automation levels of such machines are substantially low. For these reasons, the consumption of Turkish coffee, which is already substantially demanding to prepare, does not increase and its famousness in the abroad stays low. As a result, lack of mechanization plays an important role in low famousness of Turkish coffee in the world and less consumption thereof. Therefore, the present cooking vending machines cannot be used for Turkish coffee.
In the present Turkish coffee machines, user has to realize manual processes for the usage of the machines; coffee and sugar are measured and put into the cooking receptacle by the user, servicing of coffee is realized to the cup after the coffee is cooked and the cooking receptacle has to be washed. Turkish coffee comprises a dense fluid part called grounds therein, and thus, transfer of Turkish coffee to a cup with the help of a pipe becomes inefficient since said pipe-like carrier can be clogged over time. Because of manual processes which exist in these processes, an informed user is needed for the machine, and this limits the usage areas. For drinking Turkish coffee in this manner, persons who know how to cook Turkish coffee are needed, and this limits the consumption of Turkish coffee in the world.
As a result, because of the abovementioned problems, an improvement is required in the related technical field.
