Description

Folding cup
The present invention relates to a folding cup.
Conventionally, paper or plastic resin cups are used for disposable cups. Normally, the mouthpiece of the cup is circular, and the overall shape is an inverted cone or a cylinder. When storing and carrying multiple disposable cups, the shape of the stacked cups does not change by covering or putting another folding cup inside or outside the cup, so it is stored as it is. And when carrying it, a space equivalent to the volume of one cup or more is required. Therefore, a folding cup has been developed (see, for example, Patent Documents 1-3).

FIG.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the folding cup according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
Embodiment 1.
The folding cup according to the present invention is made of paper or plastic resin. The folding cup is provided with a body portion for storing liquid, and the shape of the body portion is formed in the shape of a vertically long regular triangular cylinder. As shown in A of FIG. 1, the folding cup is open because the upper end side is used as a drinking spout. On the upper end side thereof, a drinking mouth d, a drinking mouth e, and a drinking mouth f are provided at three vertices of a regular triangular cylinder when the body portion is viewed from the arrow X direction side.
As shown in FIG. 1, the shape of the body portion, which is the upper part of the cup A, is a regular triangular cylinder. The shape from the lower end of the cup A to the lower part of the leg of the cup A from the position of about 1/3 of the height of the cup A is an inverted pyramid.
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the cup A supports the main body of the cup A with three legs arranged radially from the center of the bottom of the cup A, and is completely self-supporting without touching the hands. It can be placed on a desk or table. Further, these three legs also serve as a sealing portion for storing the liquid of the cup A.
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the body portion of the cup A is a regular triangular cylinder composed of a rectangular cylinder wall L1, a cylinder wall L2, and a cylinder wall L3.
It is desirable that the cup A has the shape of an equilateral triangular cylinder whose cross section forms an equilateral triangle. For example, if the cross section of a folding cup is an isosceles triangle with an acute angle, the area of the side surface of the triangular cylinder to which the base sandwiched between the base angles belongs is reduced, so that when folded, it becomes thinner and flatter. However, since the angles of the three drinking spouts d, e, and f cannot be unified, the three drinking spouts d, e, and f cannot be used evenly.
The shape of the cup A before formation is a regular triangular cylinder, and as shown in FIG. 2, the drinking spouts d, e, and f (cross sections) are formed in a regular triangular shape, and the shape of the body portion for storing the liquid is It is formed in the shape of a regular triangular cylinder. As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the folding position 1 between the cylinder wall L1 and the cylinder wall L3, the folding position 2 between the cylinder wall L1 and the cylinder wall L2, and the folding position between the cylinder wall L2 and the cylinder wall L3. 3 forms the side of the cup A. The cylinder wall L3 is provided with a first folding portion 4 of the cup A main body.
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, Y-shaped creases are formed at the lower ends of the cylinder wall L1, the cylinder wall L2, and the cylinder wall L3, respectively. The creases are the first crease formed from the center of the lower end of the cylinder wall L1, the cylinder wall L2, and the cylinder wall L3 to the first position lower than the upper end, and both sides of the cylinder wall from the upper end of the first fold. It has two second creases formed towards a second position higher than the first position on the edge.
The height from the first position, which is the upper end of the first fold, to the lower end of the cylinder wall is about 1/10 of the height of the cup A.
The second crease intersects the side surfaces of the cylinder wall L1, the cylinder wall L2, and the cylinder wall L3, respectively. The second position, which is the intersection of the second crease and the side edge, is higher than the first position, and the height from the second position to the lower end of the cylinder wall is about 1 / of the height of the cup A. It is about 3.
The cylinder wall L1, the cylinder wall L2, and the cylinder wall L3 have two seal portions a'2, a seal portion b'1, and a seal portion surrounded by a Y-shaped crease, a side end, and a bottom side, respectively. b'2 and the seal portion c'1, and the seal portion a'1 and the seal portion c'2 are formed. The seal portion a'2 of the cylinder wall L1 is adjacent to the seal portion a'1 of the cylinder wall L3, and the seal portion b'1 of the cylinder wall L1 is adjacent to the seal portion b'2 of the cylinder wall L2. The seal portion c'1 of L2 is formed adjacent to the seal portion c'2 of the cylinder wall L3.
The seal portion a'2 of the cylinder wall L1 and the seal portion a'1 of the cylinder wall L3 are pressed against each other with the folding position 1 interposed therebetween and are crimped. Hereinafter, similarly, the seal portion b'1 of the cylinder wall L1 and the seal portion b'2 of the cylinder wall L2 are pressed against each other with the folding position 2 interposed therebetween and are crimped. Further, the seal portion c'1 of the cylinder wall L2 and the seal portion c'2 of the cylinder wall L3 are pressed against each other with the folding position 3 interposed therebetween and are crimped.
The three crimps of the seal part of the cup A are performed at the same time as the formation of the bottom part of the cup A, and at the same time, the bottom part of the cup A is surely crimped to prevent liquid leakage so that the seal parts are in perfect contact with each other. In order to form the body, all of them are formed simultaneously and simultaneously toward the inner center (center of gravity) P, which is the center of the equilateral triangle in the cross section of the bottom of the body.
When the crimped portion of the cup A is viewed from the side in the horizontal direction, as shown in FIG. 6, the shape of each of the three crimped portions is a trapezoidal shape. The portion corresponding to the height H of the trapezoid is in contact with the desk, the table, or the like to form the legs of the cup A. The portion of the trapezoidal leg R2 forming an angle of 90 degrees with respect to the upper base Ub and the lower base Lb of the trapezoid is the bottom of the leg of the cup A. Then, the portion of the trapezoidal leg R1 on the opposite side becomes the bottom portion of the body portion of the cup A for storing the liquid. A symmetrical trapezoid is arranged when the regular triangular cylinder is viewed from either side of the horizontal direction. As a result, the portion of the cup A for storing the liquid is completed.
As shown in FIG. 3, the arrangement of a, b, and c, which are the legs of the cup A, is arranged radially from the inner center P, which is the center of the bottom of the cup A, and becomes a Y-shape or an inverted Y-shape. ing.
As shown in FIG. 1, the first folding portion 4 of the cup A is one on any side surface of the regular triangular cylinder, and the cup is from the center of the bottom side of the side surface of the regular triangular cylinder, which is the side surface of the regular triangular cylinder. Make a crease that vertically cuts the side surface of A, and use that as the fold point. The first folding portion 4 has a straight line shape parallel to the axial direction of the cylinder of the cup A. The first folding portion 4 may be provided on any of the cylinder walls of the cup A. If the bottom surface of the triangular cylinder is an isosceles triangle, make a crease that vertically cuts the side surface of the cup A from the center of the bottom side of the side surface of the cup A to which the bottom side portion of the isosceles triangle belongs, and fold it. It is a place. FIG. 7 shows a mode of unfolding from the folded state to the time of use.
The seal position b'of the cup A to which the seal portion b'1 and the seal portion b'1 are crimped is thin and is the thickness of two sheets of the material used for the cup A. Similar to the seal position b', the seal position a'1 to which the seal portion a'1 and the seal portion a'1 of the cup A are crimped is the thickness of two sheets of the material used for the cup A. Further, the same applies to the seal position c'1 to which the seal portion c'1 and the seal portion c'1 of the cup A belonging to the folding position 3 are crimped.
The method and procedure for forming the cup A according to the present invention from a sheet will be described.
As shown in FIG. 8, a rectangular flat sheet is cut into one sheet having a specified size for forming a cup A, and one of the longitudinal ends of the sheet has a narrow width along the short side. A glue margin portion S11 or S12 is provided.
The long side of the remaining rectangle is evenly divided into three parts in the rectangular part excluding the glue margin part S11 or S12 of the same sheet, and is perpendicular to the long side, and the three cylinder walls L1 and the cylinder wall L2. , The folding position 1 and the folding position 3, which are the folds for forming the tubular wall L3, are provided. Further, the folding position 2 is provided at the boundary portion between the glue margin portion S11 or S12 and the cylinder wall L2 adjacent thereto. In addition, the first folding portion 4 is provided at a position where the center of the rectangle is divided into two equal parts, excluding the glue margin portion S11 or S12.
In the next step, the glue margin portion S11 or S12 of the sheet and the endmost cylinder wall L1 which is the other end on the opposite side are bonded and crimped so as to be wound around the core rod of the regular triangular cylinder, and crimping is performed. As shown in, the whole is formed so as to have a tubular shape of a regular triangular cylinder. That is, the glue margin portion S11 shown in FIG. 5 is crimped from the sheet shown in FIG. 8 to form an equilateral triangular cylinder having an equilateral cross section.
The sheet is bent at the folding position 1, the folding position 2, and the folding position 3 shown in FIG. 8, formed so as to be wound around the core rod of the regular triangular cylinder as shown in FIG. 5, and crimped by the glue margin portion S11 or S12. To form a regular triangular cylinder. FIG. 5 shows the glue margin portion S11 arranged on the outside of the cup A. The glue margin portion S12 may be arranged inside the cup A.
In order to form the body portion, all of them are formed simultaneously and simultaneously toward the direction of the inner center P, which is the central direction of the equilateral triangle in the cross section of the bottom portion of the body portion.
When the crimped portion of the cup A is viewed from the side in the horizontal direction, as shown in FIG. 6, the shape of each of the three crimped portions is trapezoidal. Three symmetrical trapezoids are formed on each side of the regular triangular cylinder after one crimping is completed. As shown in FIG. 1, on each side surface of the regular triangular cylinder, there are two symmetrical trapezoids on each side surface, centered on the lower center of the side surface, and six locations on the entire regular triangular cylinder. The crimping points of the above are configured to form the cup A.
As shown in FIG. 6, the portion of the trapezoidal leg R2 is a portion perpendicularly intersecting the upper base Ub and the lower base Lb, and corresponds to the height H of the trapezoid. This part is located at the bottom of the cup A and functions to make the cup A self-supporting by contacting the ground plane with a desk, a table, etc., and the part of the trapezoidal leg R1 on the other side collects liquid. Consists of the seal part.
As shown in FIG. 1, since the cross section of the cup A is an equilateral triangle, there is only one folding portion, one on any side of the regular triangular cylinder, and from the lower center of the side surface of the cup A. A first folding portion 4 that vertically traverses the side surface of the cup A is attached. If the bottom of the triangular cylinder is an isosceles triangle, one side of the triangular cylinder to which the bottom side of the isosceles triangle belongs, and the side of the cup A vertically traversed from the lower center on the side of the triangular cylinder. Make a crease and use it as the first folding point.
As shown in FIG. 7, with the first folding portion 4 as the main axis, the folding positions 1 and the folding positions 3 at both ends of the cylinder wall L3 having the first folding portion 4 are overlapped with each other, and the remaining cylinder wall If the two points L1 and the cylinder wall L2 are folded in a mountain at the folding position 2 belonging to the bent tip portion and the first folding point 4 is made in a valley fold, the cup A is in a flat folded state. In the folded state, the entire cup A has a rectangular plate shape. Here, the mountain fold is a folding method in which the folds come out on the outer surface side of the body portion of the cup A. The valley fold is a folding method in which the crease is hidden on the inner surface side of the body portion of the cup A.
Subsequently, a method and a procedure for forming the cup A according to the present invention from the core of the cup A will be described. Hereinafter, the forming method by this method is referred to as a core basic type of cup A.
Using paper or plastic resin as a raw material, the core of cup A is glued into a roll like the core of toilet paper and kitchen paper.
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 9, the bonded portion of the raw material is spirally bonded to continuously form a cylindrical core formed by gluing in a roll shape. Then, at the same time as cutting to the specified size of the cup A, the core rod of the regular triangular cylinder is inserted into the core of the cup A, and the regular triangular cylinder is press-molded.
Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 10, the adhesive portion of the raw material is directly spirally wound around the core rod of the regular triangular cylinder from the beginning, and the core portion of the cup A is bonded to form the core portion of the regular triangular cylinder. Is continuously formed. Then, the cup A is cut to a specified size and formed into a cylindrical shape of a regular triangular cylinder as a whole.
The subsequent steps are the same as the method for forming the cup A according to the present invention from the sheet.
The cup A has a length t1 between the drinking mouth d and the drinking mouth e, a length t2 between the drinking mouth e and the drinking mouth f, and a length t3 between the drinking mouth f and the drinking mouth d shown in FIG. By lengthening the gap between the mouths, the capacity of the cup A can be easily increased. As t1, t2, and t3 become longer, the stability of the cup A in the unfolded state when it is used and when it is placed on a desk, table, or the like is inevitably increased. The method of forming the cup A wide type main body having a wide space between the mouths is the same as the method of forming from a sheet.
As explained above, when using the cup A, even the legs that can be placed stably are formed at the bottom of the cup A at the same time. That is, the crimping seal portion forming the bottom portion of the cup A also serves as the leg portion of the cup A at the same time.
As shown in FIG. 3, the bottom surface of the equilateral triangle, the center of the equilateral triangle, and the three legs that radiate from the inner center or the center of gravity P make the unfolded cup A stand on its own in a stable manner.
The reason why the crimping part is trapezoidal is that if it is a triangle, the bottom of the cup A becomes an equilateral triangle, and the adhesion of the part P, which is the central part of the cup A, becomes weak and the adhesion becomes insufficient. This is because it causes the liquid inside to leak.
From the lower end of the cup A to the lower part of the leg of the cup A from the position of about 1/3 of the height of the cup A, the inverted pyramidal shape is the part where the liquid is stored, the bottom of the cup A. In order to form the center of the bottom of the cup A, which forms an equilateral triangle, and crimping from three places at the same time toward the direction of P so as to press each other at the same time, 3 is centered on the outer shell of the cup A. This is because the folding position is attracted to each part and moves.
Cup A is an equilateral triangle regardless of which of the three spouts is poured, so the liquid is concentrated in one place, so it is difficult to spill and it is easy for small children to drink.
When the first folding point 4 is valley-folded in the unfolded state when the cup A is used, the cup A is folded into a rectangular flat state. In the folded state, the cup A is in a smooth and horizontal state without unevenness. For this reason, the cup A has a flat plate shape so that it can be stored compactly by suppressing the storage width at the time of folding as much as possible at the time of storage.
As a result, individual packaging is possible easily, it can be carried cleanly at all times, and it can be completely sterilized, so it can be stored for a long time. Moreover, since it has a perfect plate shape, it can be easily stored anywhere.
The trapezoidal part formed at the bottom of the cup A when viewed from the side in the horizontal direction has a relatively large area, so it also functions as a handle part. Therefore, even when you put a hot drink in it, if you hold this part, it is difficult for the heat to be transferred to your hand, and you can keep it for a relatively long time.
By lengthening each side of the equilateral triangle, which is the shape of the drinking spout, the capacity of the equilateral triangle cylinder of the cup A also increases, and the size and capacity of the cup A can be freely changed accordingly. Also, at the same time as the capacity increases, the stability of the bottom of the cup A also increases.
Embodiment 2.
In the cup A according to the first embodiment of the present invention, each spout has an acute angle. Not limited to this, parallel creases with a small width attached to each side of the regular triangular cylinder constituting between the mouths of the cup formed from the sheet may be provided so that the mouths are square and easy to drink. ..
As shown in FIG. 11, a flat sheet forming a rectangle is cut into one sheet having a predetermined size for forming a cup B, and one of the longitudinal ends of the rectangle of the sheet is along the short side. A narrow width glue margin portion S13 or S14 is provided.
As shown in FIG. 11, the long side of the remaining rectangle is divided into three parts in the rectangular part excluding the glue margin part S13 or S14 of the same sheet, and the long side is perpendicular to the long side and three places (strictly speaking). 6 places) The two folds, which are the folds for forming the cylinder wall L1, the cylinder wall L2, and the cylinder wall L3, at the fold position 1-2 and the fold position 3-1 and the creases with a small width parallel to them. A certain folding position 1-1 and a folding position 3-2 are provided at one place each. Further, at the boundary portion between the glue margin portion S13 or S14 and the cylinder wall L2 adjacent thereto, one place of the fold position 2-2 and the fold position 2-1 which is a narrow crease parallel to the fold position 2-2 is added. Make creases respectively.
That is, the sheet is provided with six folds of fold position 1-1, fold position 1-2, fold position 2-1 and fold position 2-2, fold position 3-1 and fold position 3-2. The folding positions when folding the cup B are set to the folding position 1-2, the folding position 3-1 and the folding position 2-2, and the other folding positions 1-1, the folding position 3-2 and the folding position 2-1. Is a crease that is added to make the mouthpiece square.
Further, a first folding portion 4, which is a fold for folding, is provided at a position where the center of the rectangle is divided into two equal parts, excluding the glue margin portion S13 or S14 of the same sheet.
In the next step, the glue margin portion S13 or S14 of the sheet and the endmost cylinder wall L1 which is the other end on the opposite side are bonded together so as to be wound around a core rod of an equilateral triangular cylinder (strictly speaking, a hexagonal cylinder). As shown in FIG. 14, the openings on the upper and lower bottom surfaces in the vertical direction form an equilateral triangle (strictly speaking, a hexagon), and the cylinder wall L1 and the cylinder wall at three locations (strictly six locations). It is composed of L2 and a cylinder wall L3, and is formed so as to have a tubular shape of an equilateral triangular cylinder (strictly speaking, a hexagonal cylinder).
The subsequent steps are the same as the method of forming the cup B according to the present invention from the sheet. However, as shown in FIG. 11, the crimping for forming the bottom of the cup B comes with the folding position (11) and the folding position 3-1 indicating the place where the folding position 1-2 comes when folded. The folding position (12) indicating the location and the folding position (13) indicating the location where the folding position 2-2 comes are used as a reference. That is, the crimping for forming the bottom of the cup B is performed at the folding position 1-1 and the folding position 1-2, the folding position 2-1 and the folding position 2-2, and the folding position 3-1 and the folding position 3-2. Not done at each intermediate position.
As shown in FIG. 12, the drinking spout of the cup B formed from the sheet has three drinking spouts g, h, and i, and the folding positions 1-1 and 1-2 along the drinking spout g. The bottom seal position is a', the folding position 2-1 and the folding position 2-2 along the drinking spout h, the bottom sealing position is b', and the folding position 3-1 and the folding position along the drinking spout i. 3-2, the seal position at the bottom is c'.
As shown in FIG. 13, with the first folding point 4 as the main axis, the folding position 3-1 and the folding position 1-2 are overlapped with each other, and a mountain fold is made at the folding position 2-2, and the first folding point is formed. If you make a valley fold along the crease of 4, you will have a flat fold. That is, the cup B formed from the sheet is folded at three positions: folding position 1-2, folding position 3-1 and folding position 2-2.
Next, a method and a procedure for forming a cup B having a square mouthpiece from the core of the cup B will be described.
The core part of the cup B is glued into a roll like the core part of the toilet paper and kitchen paper. While spirally adhering the adhesive portion related to the formation of the core portion of the cup B, a cylindrical core formed by gluing in a roll shape is continuously formed and cut to the specified size of the cup B. At the same time, a regular triangle for making six folds: fold position 1-1, fold position 1-2, fold position 2-1, fold position 2-2, fold position 3-1 and fold position 3-2. A core rod in the shape of a cylinder (strictly speaking, a hexagonal cylinder) is inserted, press molding is performed on a regular triangular cylinder (strictly speaking, a hexagonal cylinder), and the portion forming the bottom of the cup B is crimped.
Alternatively, while directly spirally winding around the core rod of a regular triangular cylinder (strictly speaking, a hexagonal cylinder) that constitutes six folds from the beginning, adhesion related to the formation of the core portion of cup B is performed, and FIG. 15 shows. As shown, the core of a regular triangular cylinder (strictly speaking, a hexagonal cylinder) is continuously formed, cut to the specified size of cup B, and the whole is a cylinder of a regular triangular cylinder (strictly speaking, a hexagonal cylinder). It is formed so as to have a shape, and the portion forming the bottom of the cup B is crimped.
The subsequent steps are the same as the method for forming the cup B formed from the sheet.
Embodiment 3.
In the cups according to the first and second embodiments of the present invention, the legs serve as handles and no handle-like handle is provided. Not limited to this, a handle-shaped handle may be provided.
In the cup C according to the third embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 16, a handle N is provided on the body portion of the cup C. The handle N is a rectangular sheet folded in two. The handle N is folded to bisect the sheet to form two rectangular portions N1 and N2.
The handle N is arranged so that the crease 21 is along the first folding portion 4 of the cup C. Then, the rectangular portion N2 is crimped to the cylinder wall of the cup C, and the rectangular portion is not crimped and is used as a handle of the handle.
As shown in FIG. 17, the cup C may be provided with a handle M punched out in a horizontal U shape in order to make it easier to insert and hold a finger. The handle M is a rectangular sheet that is folded in two and has a notch. The handle M is formed with a handle portion M1 on which a finger is hung, a rectangular portion M2 having no notch, and a portion M3 separated by the notch.
The handle M is provided with a crease 22 that divides the long side of the sheet into two equal parts and is perpendicular to the long side of the sheet. The notch of the handle M is from the position of about 1/6 of the short side of the sheet from the lower end of the crease to the depth of about 1/4 of the long side of the sheet in parallel with the long side of the sheet. It is cut from there to a height of about 5/6 of the short side of the sheet, parallel to the short side of the sheet, and further cut from there to the crease parallel to the long side of the sheet.
The handle portion M1 is continuous with the rectangular portion M2 and is formed in a horizontal U-shape by a notch. The surface area of the handle portion M1 is about 1/3 to 1/4 of the surface area of the handle M. The separated portion M3 is continuous with the rectangular portion M2 and is formed in a rectangular shape surrounded by creases and cuts.
The handle M is arranged so that the crease is along the first folding portion 4 of the cup C. Then, the rectangular portion M2 and the separated portion M3 are crimped to the cylinder wall of the cup C, and the handle portion M1 is not crimped and is used as a handle of the handle.
As a preventive measure against infectious diseases such as viruses and bacteria, it is possible to pull the tube wall of the folding surface from the outside of the cup C without putting a finger inside the cup C so that the cup C can be easily deployed. It is easy to hold in your hand even at times.
The handle N and the handle M not only are used as an aid when opening the cup C in the expanding direction at the time of use, but also function as a handle used when holding the cup C in the hand. Also, to prevent the cylinder wall of the cup C from being inadvertently closed by the force that tries to return the cylinder wall of the cup C to the original folded state, and the cup C is restored and repositioned in the folding direction. , Also plays the role of holding the cylinder wall.
