Description
Container
The invention refers to a container used to transport goods by road, rail and sea. This container is designed to be loaded and unloaded through its side wall.
Containers are fitted with a floor and cubes are available. In order to facilitate transport, container sizes are standardised. Equipment used to fasten containers and handle them are designed to suit the specified spacing of their cubes. Containers can be top-open or fitted with a roof. Their roof can be fixed or removable. Containers usually have front walls and side walls. Front walls may be fixed, in the form of doors, flaps or flap-doors.
The problem is that standard containers are not always well fitted to the size of transported items and do not always provide easy access for their loading and unloading.
This invention makes it possible to design longer containers while keeping the standard spacing of their cubes, enabling to load and unload them easily.
The concept in the invention is based on a container having its floor, front walls, cubes is characterised by that it is equipped with movable vertical posts on the longer edge of its floor. Such vertical posts transfer loads between the floor (equipped with bottom cubes) and top cubes. The vertical posts are fixed at the top and bottom by means of pins and holes. The vertical posts are equipped with their supporting structures fixed to the front walls by means of hinges. Such supporting structures are fastened at the top by means of upper bolts and at the bottom - by means of lower bolts. Such top and bottom bolts are fixed on the bolt axis, with the bottom bolt being equipped with a lever. The front walls are fixed. The container has a fixed roof. The roof is equipped
with transverse beams which connect the top cubes in pairs. The side walls are made of a tarpaulin.
The solution developed under this invention makes it possible to provide more loading space. The concept of this invention facilitates unloading and loading via the side wall, which makes it possible, for example, to unload a container without having to remove it from a railway carriage.
The invented solution in its exemplary embodiment is shown at the following figures: fig. 1 shows a view of the container, fig. 2 - a view of the top bolt, fig. 3 - a view of the bottom bolt, and fig. 4 - a view of the bolt axis.
The container in the exemplary embodiment has movable vertical posts (2) at the longer edge of its floor (1). Such vertical posts (2) transfer forces between the floor (1) equipped with bottom cubes (3) and top cubes (4). The vertical posts (2) are fixed at the top and bottom by means of pins (5) and holes (6). Holes (6) are located at the posts and pins (5) - adjacent to and directly connected to the cubes (3) and (4). The vertical posts (2) are equipped with their supporting structures (7) fixed to the front walls (8) by means of hinges (9). Such supporting structures (7) are arranged at the top by means of upper bolts (10) and at the bottom - by means of lower bolts (11). Such bolts: upper (10) and lower (11) are fixed on the bolt axis (12), with the bottom bolt equipped with a lever (13). The front walls (8) are fixed. The container has a fixed roof (14). The roof (14) is equipped with transverse beams (15) which connect the top cubes (4) in pairs. The side walls are made of tarpaulin (16).
Containers with the front walls (8) in the form of doors, flaps or flap-doors, a removable roof (14) or side walls (16) made of material other than tarpaulin are available.
