Abstract

The present invention discloses a mask apparatus killing viruses, which comprises a mask with an air delivering hole and an air outlet hole, an air duct connects the air delivering hole and a filter device to kill bacteria and viruses from the outside environment, providing purified air for the users to breathe, and to protect themselves in cases that they have to be either in close contact with or at an infection risk of life- threatening viruses.

Description

MASK APPARATUS FOR KILLING VIRUSES
Technical field of the invention
The invention relates to a mask apparatus that kills viruses.
Background art
Over 50 million people were infected, over 1 .25 million people died of COVID-19 in over 150 countries within nearly 10 months of announcement (January 2020) and its spread is exponential.
The prior art of mask apparatuses has not solved the problem of killing over 99% of viruses and bacteria, particularly those cause and transmit dangerous diseases that hurt people and even lead to massive death on an international scale.
Ultraviolet (UV) rays and metal nanoparticles are able to kill bacteria, viruses and mutants. However, overexposure to UV radiation can lead to serious health issues, including cancer. Thus, proactive management of UV rays is a top requirement for everyone's health.
Summary of the invention
The mask apparatus for killing viruses, comprising: a mask; an air filter; a fan to suck and push air; a funnel; UV-UVC lamps on a circuit board and an insulation sheet; a box-shaped body unit with baffles, comprising another circuit board and UV-UVC lamps, extending travel distance of air flows sucked and pushed by the fan, and increasing period to kill viruses and bacteria by UV-UVC light in a middle unit and the said body unit; an intake hole; a purified air box composed of filters and metal nanoparticles such as silver, copper nanoparticles etc., with efficient disinfection and virus removal; in a filter device having an air duct connected to an air delivering hole of the mask. The filter device has a higher pressure that allows only the purified air flow to said air delivering hole of the mask, prevents viruses and harmful substances from affecting the user’s respiratory system. The filter device also comprises a power resource; a standard switch or a voice-activated technology etc. to turn on and turn off; a glass sheet; and a sealed part.

Detailed description of the invention
According to FIG. 1, FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, the present invention proposes a mask apparatus that kills viruses, comprising: a mask (1 ); an air filter (2); a fan to suck and push air (3); a funnel to collect air (4 ); UV-UVC lamps (6) on a circuit board and an insulation sheet (5); a box-shaped body unit (7) comprises another circuit board (8) and UV-UVC lamps at the bottom, baffles arranged on the circuit board, and UV-UVC lamps extend travel distance of air, and increase period to kill viruses and bacteria by UV-UVC light in a middle unit and the said body unit; an intake hole (9) supplying purified air; a purified air box (10) composed of filters and metal nanoparticles such as silver, copper nanoparticles etc., with efficient disinfection and virus removal, having a connected part (10.1 ) linked to an air duct (1 1 ). A filter device is shaped and configured to get higher pressure that allows only the purified air flow to an air delivering hole of the mask, prevents viruses and harmful substances from affecting the user’s respiratory system. The said filter device also has a power resource (12), a standard switch or a voice-activated technology etc. (13) to turn on, turn off and charge the power resource for the users’ defense against infection by dangerous viruses. According to FIG 4, the present invention wherein the filter device comprises a glass sheet (14), a middle unit, the circuit board (15) and UV-UVC lamps (15.1 ).
According to FIG. 5, the present invention wherein the filter device comprises a sealed part (16) and UV-UVC lamps (17) accordingly followed baffles inside the shaped- box body unit (7).
This invention is operational on the basis of wearing the mask, which has connected to the filter device, and put the said device in a pocket or wear it while the user is either in close contact with or at an infection risk of life-threatening viruses. When the user turns on the switch, the fan will suck air from the environment, then push it through the funnel into the middle unit and the body unit having UV-UVC light on (such UV-UVC radiation cannot escape from the filter device). The filter device has a higher pressure that allows only the air flow to go through extended travel distance, in increased period, for viruses and bacteria to be killed by UV-UVC light in the middle unit and the body unit of said device. Then the air flow is processed by the purified air box composed of filters and metal nanoparticles such as silver, copper nanoparticles etc., with efficient disinfection and virus removal. Finally, purified air is consistently provided to the user via air delivering hole of the mask. The user inhales and exhales through the air delivering hole and the air outlet hole of mask, without virus penetration.
Benefits of the invention
The present invention provides a mask apparatus that protect people’s health against current viruses as well as all other types even if they are mutated or genetically modified.

Claims

1. A mask apparatus for killing viruses, comprising: a mask with an air delivering hole and an air outlet hole; and an air duct connects the air delivering hole and a purified air box providing purified air for the user to breathe; and a filter device kills bacteria and viruses from the outside environment, wherein a cover unit, a middle unit and a body unit are joined together so as to form a closed device; wherein the cover unit comprises an air filter operable coupled to a fan to suck and push air from the environment through a funnel into the filter device; a power resource that provides power to the fan and UV-UVC lamps, arranged above the fan; a purified air box, located above the power resource that connected to the air duct; and on top, a switch to turn on and turn off the fan and UV-UVC lamps of the said device; wherein the middle unit comprises a part sealed with the body unit to prevent UV- UVC light and air from escaping; a circuit board and an insulation sheet having UV-UVC lamps; a glass sheet that is arranged behind the circuit board and the insulation sheet; the said funnel that located behind the fan through which air passes through; and an intake hole on the circuit board and the insulation sheet, supplying purified air to the purified air box; wherein the box-shaped body unit comprises another circuit board and UV-UVC lamps at the bottom; baffles arranged on the circuit board, and UV-UVC lamps create a path and extend travel distance of air sucked and pushed by the fan, and increase period to kill viruses and bacteria by UV-UVC light in the middle unit and the body unit of the filter device.
