Abstract

The present invention is a cylindrical body tuned to E-flat that is connected to a mouthpiece, reed and ligature of an alto saxophone to generate a somewhat pleasant sound. A person practicing and studying the alto saxophone no longer has to practice embouchure only with the mouthpiece and reed, which makes an extremely high-pitched sound and causes hearing discomfort when practicing the aforementioned technique, no longer having to use the neck of the saxophone. The present invention is a low-cost, small, light-weight, portable, low-maintenance training device that enables the student to learn the principles and techniques of embouchure of the alto saxophone without the distraction of fingering and pressing keys, enabling the knowledge acquired using the object according to the present invention to be transferred to an alto saxophone.
