Erfindungsgemäß werden die Substrate derart aneinander angeordnet, dass Längserstreckungsachsen der Substrate in einem Winkel zwischen 40° und 140° zueinander angeordnet sind, wonach zumindest die wenigstens eine Deckschicht eines der Substrate stoffschlüssig mit dem anderen Substrat verbunden wird. Mit anderen Worten ist es erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dass die Substrate in Form eines Schräg-, Steg- oder Eckstoßes zueinander angeordnet werden, wonach die Substrate mit Hilfe von wenigstens einer Deckschicht stoffschlüssig miteinander verbunden werden. Hierdurch kann eine stoffschlüssige Verbindung und vorzugsweise ein geschlossener Raum mit einer Barrierewirkung gegenüber einem Durchtritt von flüchtigen Verbindungen wie etwa Aromastoffen oder Wasser geschaffen werden, wodurch auf eine zusätzliche Außenhülle aus einer Kunststofffolie vollständig verzichtet werden kann. Aus dem Stand der Technik ist es zwar bekannt, Substrate aus einem Basismaterial wie beispielsweise Papier oder Karton miteinander zu versiegeln. Hierzu wird beispielsweise eine Deckschicht aus einem Siegellack auf das Basismaterial der Substrate aufgetragen, wonach diese aufeinandergelegt und versiegelt werden. Allerdings müssen die Substrate dabei zumindest im Verbindungsbereich parallel zueinander angeordnet werden, so dass auf diese Weise nur überlappende Verbindungen möglich sind. Demgegenüber können im Rahmen der vorliegenden Erfindung gewinkelte stoffschlüssige Verbindungen zwischen zwei oder mehr Substraten hergestellt werden. Hierdurch kann beispielsweise ein Deckelelement unmittelbar mit senkrecht zu diesem angeordneten Seitenwänden einer Verpackung verbunden werden, um eine Verpackung mit einem abgedichteten Innenraum zu schaffen. Unter einem Basismaterial aus Zellstoff (Cellulose) wird dabei im Rahmen der vorliegenden Erfindung ein Material verstanden, welches zumindest überwiegend, das heißt zu mindestens 51 %, insbesondere zu mindestens 75 % und bevorzugt zu mindestens 90 % aus Cellulose besteht, wobei im Rahmen der vorliegenden Erfindung prozentuale Angaben grundsätzlich als Gewichtsprozente zu verstehen sind, sofern nichts Gegenteiliges angegeben ist. Beispielsweise kann das Basismaterial gestrichenes oder ungestrichenes Papier, gestrichener oder ungestrichener Karton oder gestrichene oder ungestrichene Pappe sein. Das Schichtsystem weist in einfachster Ausgestaltung lediglich die Deckschicht auf einer Seite des Substrats, vorzugsweise auf der dem Verpackungsgut zuzuwendende Innenseite auf. Alternativ kann vorgesehen sein, dass das Schichtsystem eine oder mehrere weitere Schichten auf einer Seite aufweist, durch welche zusätzliche Funktionen realisiert werden können. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Substrats, beispielsweise der dem Verpackungsgut abzuwendenden Außenseite, kann dieses grundsätzlich unbeschichtet sein oder ein weiteres Schichtsystem mit einer oder mehreren Schichten, insbesondere Aufdrucken aufweisen, wobei die gegenüberliegenden Schichtsysteme grundsätzlich gleich oder unterschiedlich ausgebildet sein können. Claims

ANSPRÜCHE: EXPECTATIONS:
1. Verfahren zum Verbinden von mindestens zwei Substraten (10a, 10b), die jeweils ein Basismaterial (12) aus Zellstoff umfassen, wobei wenigstens eines der Substrate (10a, 10b) ein zumindest bereichsweise auf dem Basismaterial (12) aufgebrachtes Schichtsystem (14) mit wenigstens einer Deckschicht (16) umfasst, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Substrate (10a, 10b) derart aneinander angeordnet werden, dass Längserstreckungsachsen (A) der Substrate (10a, 10b) in einem Winkel zwischen 40° und 140° zueinander angeordnet sind, wonach zumindest die wenigstens eine Deckschicht (16) eines der Substrate (10a, 10b) stoffschlüssig mit dem anderen Substrat (10a, 10b) verbunden wird. 1. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass vor dem Verbinden der Substrate (10a, 10b) die Deckschicht (16) und/oder wenigstens eine weitere Schicht des Schichtsystems (14) wenigstens eines der Substrate (10a, 10b) durch ein Beschichtungsverfahren auf das Basismaterial (12) des Substrats (10a, 10b) aufgebracht, insbesondere auflaminiert und/oder aufgedruckt wird. 2. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Basismaterial (12) wenigstens eines Substrats (10a, 10b) ausgewählt wird aus einer Gruppe, die Papier, Karton und Pappe umfasst. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Deckschicht (16) des einen Substrats (10a, 10b) stoffschlüssig mit der Basisschicht (12) und/oder mit der Deckschicht (16) und/oder mit dem Schichtsystem (14) des anderen Substrats (10a, 10b) verbunden wird. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Deckschicht (16) wenigstens eines Substrats (10a, 10b) zum Verbinden mit dem anderen Substrat (10a, 10b) zunächst durch Erwärmen thermoplastisch aufgeweicht wird und/oder dass die Substrate (10a, 10b) unter Druckbeaufschlagung verbunden werden und/oder dass die Deckschicht (16) wenigstens eines Substrats (10a, 10b) durch UV- und/oder thermisch induzierte Polymerisation mit dem anderen Substrat (10a, 10b) chemisch reagiert. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Substrate (10a, 10b) nach dem Verbinden eine Sauerstoff- und/oder Wasser- und/oder Wasserdampfbarriere und/oder eine Barriere gegen lipophile Verbindungen bilden. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Schichtsystem (14) wenigstens eines der Substrate (10a, 10b) wenigstens eine weitere Schicht mit einer Barrierewirkung gegen Sauerstoff und/oder Wasser und/oder Wasserdampf und/oder lipophile Verbindungen aufweist. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass wenigstens eines der Substrate (10a, 10b) als Zuschnitt und/oder als Verpackung, insbesondere für Tabakwaren, ausgebildet ist. Verpackung, welche zumindest teilweise aus Substraten (10a, 10b) besteht, die mittels eines Verfahrens nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9 miteinander verbunden sind. 3.
