An information recommendation method and apparatus, and an electronic device, relating to the technical field of communications, and at least capable of solving the problem in the related art in which video capturing and creation processes are complex and troublesome. The information recommendation method comprises: when a video capturing interface is being displayed, scanning objects currently in the video capturing interface by means of a camera, so as to identify target object information therein, that is, acquiring an image by means of the camera and recognizing a target object in the image; upon recognizing the target object, acquiring at least one target video work matching the target object; and displaying information of the target video work on the video capturing interface, and making a recommendation to a user accordingly.
