Abstract

Un équipement utilisateur (UE) exécute un procédé de retour à un système nouvelle radio (NR) après un repli inter-système. L'UE effectue un appel qui subit un repli inter-système d'un système de technologie d'accès radio (RAT) de haute génération à un système RAT de basse génération. L'UE détermine s'il faut retourner à un système NR lors de la fin de l'appel. L'UE est empêché de revenir au système NR lorsqu'au moins une condition préférée non NR est remplie et retourne au système NR lorsqu'il est déterminé qu'il retourne à une cellule 5G, et que ladite condition préférée non NR n'est pas remplie. Le procédé permet à un UE de retourner au système NR 5G dans le mode inactif de 2G, 3G ou 4G après le repli inter-système. L'UE peut effectuer une recherche de cellule 5G d'arrière-plan dans le mode inactif de 2G, 3G ou 4G et déterminer s'il faut retourner à la 5G ou non.
