Abstract

The invention relates to a method for processing and adjusting images and video while they are being projected using a device for projecting onto a screen (projector), the method being based on a technique of recognising faces and identifying their locations. The method: operates software integrated into the projection device or the device that projects the content; identifies the locations of the faces of people in front of the projection device relative to the projected image, by means of a camera integrated into the front of the projection device or an external camera connected to the device projecting the content; adjusts the image to be projected, by cutting or blacking out the part of the image or video opposite the face, such that the part of the image projected onto the face becomes dark and prevents bright light and radiation from the projection device from reaching the user's eyes.
