Furthermore, the terms "comprise" , "include" or any other variation thereof are used to cover non-exclusive inclusion, so that a process, method, article or equipment including a series of elements includes not only the mentioned elements, but also other elements not explicitly listed, or elements inherent to such process, method, article or equipment. Without further restrictions, the elements defined by the sentence "comprising... " do not exclude other same elements in the process, method, article or equipment comprising the elements.
To make the disclosure better understood, the identification card according to the embodiment of the disclosure will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 1 to FIG. 4.
Referring to FIG. 1, which shows a structural schematic diagram of an identification card provided by an embodiment of the disclosure, wherein a card body 1 has a first surface and a second surface which are opposite to each other and a plurality of side surfaces connected with the first surface and the second surface, and a bending part is formed at the intersection between every two adjacent side surfaces, and the outer edge of the bending part is provided with a first protective layer 2, and the shape of the first protective layer 2 matches the shape of the bending part.
The identification card provided by the embodiment of the disclosure comprises a card body 1, wherein the card body 1 has a first surface and a second surface that are opposite to each other and a plurality of side surfaces connected with the first surface and the second surface, and a bending part is formed at the intersection between every two adjacent side surfaces, i.e., the card body 1 has a right angle or a bend angle. It is understood that the bending part of the card body 1 is easier to be worn and damaged, so the outer edge of the bending part is arranged with a first protective layer 2. And the shape of the first protective layer 2 is matched with the shape of the bending part, and the first protective layer 2 is made of metal or other materials which have higher hardness and are not easily damaged, thus effectively protecting the bending part of the card body 1 from being in contact with the outside to prevent the bending part from being scratched and damaged, extending the service life of the identification card, and increasing the added value of the card at the same time.
It should be noted that the card body 1 may be a rectangular, trapezoidal or other sheet-like card body 1. A first surface and a second surface are surfaces of the card body 1 for setting patterns, magnetic strips, signatures and so on, while side surfaces, i.e., the surfaces of the card body 1 along the thickness direction has a small area, thus the bending part bears more concentrated stress and is easy to be damaged. The shape of the first protective layer 2 matches the bending part. Specifically, when the bending part is at a right angle of 90 degrees, the first protective layer 2 is also at 90 degrees and surrounds the bending part, and when the bending part is at a bend angle, the curvature of the first protective layer 2 is equal to that of the bend angle.
Referring to FIG. 2, in some optional embodiments, the bending part is a smooth curved surface, each side surface includes straight edge parts that are alternately connected with the bending part, and the outer edge of each straight edge part is covered with a second protective layer 3.
It can be understood that when the bending part is a curved corner, i.e., a smooth curved surface, a straight edge part refers to the surface connecting the bending parts. Since the straight edge parts are located on the side of the card body 1 with relatively small surface area, the straight edge parts are easily damaged by force, thus the outer edge of each straight edge part is provided with a second protective layer 3. Specifically, the card body 1 can be generally rectangular, with four bending parts and straight edge parts alternately connected with the four bending parts, and the extending direction of every two adjacent straight edge parts are perpendicular to each other.
In some optional embodiments, there are intervals between two adjacent first protective layers 2 and second protective layers 3, and the respective intervals are equal.
It can be understood that by setting equal intervals, the first protective layer 2 and the second protective layer 3 can be conveniently installed and fixed, and the stress distributed over the identification card may be more uniform. Certainly, joints or fillers connecting the first protective layer 2 and the second protective layer 3 can also be arranged in the intervals.
In other alternative embodiments, to further strengthen the protection on the card body 1, the first protective layer 2 intersects with the second protective layer 3, and at least part of the first protective layer 2 covers the second protective layer 3.
It should be noted that at least part of the first protective layer 2 covers the second protective layer 3, i.e., part of the first protective layer 2 can extend to the straight edge part and covers part of the second protective layer 3 at the outer edge of the straight edge part, so this part of the card body 1 is covered with both the first protective layer 2 and the second protective layer 3, which provides a better protection effect. In addition to the above method, other methods can also be adopted, for example, the first protective layer 2 intersects with the second protective layer 3 and at least part of the second protective layer 3 covers the first protective layer 2, i.e., part of the second protective layer 3 can extend to the bending part, covering part of the first protective layer 2 at the outer edge of the bending part, and the first protective layer 2 and the second protective layer 3 are partially overlapped.
Referring to FIG. 3, in some optional embodiments, in order to further increase the stability for fixing the first protective layer 2, the card body 1 is provided with a groove for fixing the first protective layer 2 at the bending part, and the first protective layer 2 is C-shaped in cross section along the thickness direction of the identification card.
It should be noted that the purpose of setting the groove part is to clamp and fix the first protective layer 2 on the card body 1. The first protective layer 2 is C-shaped in cross section along the thickness direction of the identification card. Correspondingly, the groove part has grooves corresponding to the top and bottom ends of the first protective layer 2, so that the first protective layer 2 can be clamped in the groove part, thus preventing the first protective layer 2 from falling off the card body 1 and increasing stability of the first protective layer 2. The second protective layer 3 can also be arranged in the same way, and the structures and shapes of the first protective layer 2 and the groove part are not limited to the above, as long as the first protective layer 2 and the groove part can be matched and connected, or as shown in FIG. 4, it is also possible to provide no groove part, which is convenient for manufacturing.
In some alternative embodiments, the surface of one side of the C-shaped first protective layer 2 is flush with the first surface, and the surface of another side is flush with the second surface.
It can be understood that the surface of one side of the first protective layer 2 is flush with the first surface, and the surface of another side is flush with the second surface, i.e., the first protective layer 2 will not protrude outward relative to the first surface and the second surface to avoid affecting the thickness and users’ feel for the identification card, or causing harm to users.
Furthermore, in some optional embodiments, in order to connect the first protective layer 2, the second protective layer 3 and the card body 1, adhesive layers are arranged between the first protective layer 2 and the card body 1 and between the second protective layer 3 and the card body 1.
The adhesive layers may be made of a liquid adhesive or a solid adhesive, such as a double-sided adhesive tape, as long as it can effectively bond the first protective layer 2, the second protective layer 3 and the card body 1.
In some alternative embodiments, the first protective layer 2 and the second protective layer 3 are both metal protective layers, and the thickness of the metal protective layers is from 0.03 mm to 0.005 mm.
The metal protective layer may be made of carbon steel, copper, gold or other metal materials.
In some optional embodiments, in order to realize the functions such as identity recognition and payment, at least one of the first surface and the second surface of the card body 1 is arranged with an accommodating groove, herein a chip part 4 is arranged in the accommodating part.
Specifically, the manufacturing technology of the identification card is as follows:
Step 1: Select a suitable metal sheet material. On the premise of ensuring manufacturing adaptability, the thinner the metal sheet material is, the better it is, and the thickness is preferably within 0.05mm.
Step 2: Perform secondary processing on the metal sheet. The secondary processing mainly includes metal grinding, polishing, antioxidation treatment, back gluing, material receiving, etc., to form a metal protective layer.
Step 3: Produce the card body 1, package and personalize the chip part 4.
Step 4: Engrave on the edges of the front and back sides of the card body 1 after personalized processing, so as to make the edge of the card body 1 thinner.
Step 5: Edge wrapping. Uniformly cover the edge of the side of the card body 1 after step 4 with the first protective layer 2 and the second protective layer 3.
Step 6: Carry out full inspection on the card body 1 after edge wrapping.
Above is only a specific embodiment of the disclosure, and those skilled in the art can clearly understand that for the convenience and conciseness of description, one can refer to the corresponding processes in the aforementioned embodiments for the specific manufacturing processes of the systems, modules and units described above, thus he specific manufacturing processes will not be described in detail here. It should be understood that the scope of the disclosure is not limited to this, and any person familiar with the art can easily think of various equivalent modifications or substitutions within the technical scope disclosed by the disclosure, all of which should be covered within the scope of the disclosure.
It should also be further noted that the exemplary embodiments mentioned in the disclosure describe some methods or systems based on a series of steps or devices. However, the disclosure is not limited to the sequence of the above steps, i.e., the steps may be executed in the sequence mentioned in the embodiment, or different from the sequence in the embodiment, or several steps may be executed synchronously.
