Abstract
The present invention relates to an antiviral and antibacterial copper sticker which is easy to install and does not wrinkle. The composite material according to the invention consists of layers, the top layer being a copper layer, below which there is an adhesive layer, which is covered by a layer of release paper. The thickness of the copper layer is 0.04-1.5 mm. The copper Iayer contains a minimum of 99.900% copper (Cu). The adhesive Iayer contains a polyacrylate dispersion.
Description
Antiviral and antibacterial copper sticker
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to the field of disinfectant coatings and relates to an antiviral and antibacterial copper sticker used to coat surfaces in places where surfaces may become contaminated due to frequent use. For example, on different handles in shops, on public transport, it can also be used on golf courses and installed on the poles of green Hags, which people touch when removing the flag from the hole; on rental bike handles and electric scooter handles, hospital bed handles, etc.
BACKGROUND
The antiviral and antibacterial properties of copper are known in the art. Various research results also show that copper destroys viruses and bacteria on surfaces completely in 2-3 hours, and sometimes even in less than in two hours.
Various copper foil tapes are known in the art and are commonly used in electronics.
In document JP2016088916 is provided an antivirus and antibacterial sticking tape having at least an adhesive layer containing adhesive components, an antivirus and antibacterial layer laminated on the adhesive layer, arranged to be brought into contact with the outside air, and containing a resin, particles of at least one kind of monovalent copper compound which acts as an antivirus and antibacterial agent and a cationic surfactant which is a surface potential control agent changing potential of the resin on a surface and a contact inhibition layer constituted by containing the resin, arranged between the adhesive layer and the antivirus and antibacterial layer and inhibiting contacts between the particles of the monovalent copper compound and the adhesive layer. There is provided an antivirus and antibacterial sticking tape, where thickness of the antivirus and antibacterial layer is 10 to 500 μm, the particle of the monovalent copper compound is contained at
0.5 to 20 mass% per the antiviral and antibacterial layer and thickness of the contact inhibition layer is 1 to 200 pm.
The disadvantages of the solutions known from the prior art are that the layer of copper foil is very thin. Its installation results in wrinkles and inaccuracies. Therefore, it is difficult and almost impossible to install copper tape correctly on round pipes and handles, for example.
Another disadvantage is that the copper layer is thin and wears out quickly during intensive use.
The present invention solves all these disadvantages.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
It is an object of the present invention to provide a composite material in the form of an antiviral and antibacterial copper sticker which is easy to install and which does not wrinkle.
It is also an object of the invention to provide a wear-resistant copper sticker with a durability of at least 8-10 years.
The composite material according to the invention consists of layers, the top layer being a copper layer, below which there is an adhesive layer, which is covered by a layer of release paper. The thickness of the copper layer is 0.04 to 1 ,5 mm. The copper layer contains a minimum of 99.900% copper (Cu), 0.015 to 0.040% phosphorus (P), and 0.06 to 0,085% of other chemical substances.
The adhesive layer contains a poiyacrylate dispersion.
LIST OF ILLUSTRATIONS
The above and other features and advantages of the invention are described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings which illustrate the preferred embodiments, in which
Figure 1 shows a composite material which is an antiviral and antibacterial copper sticker.
EMBODIMENT
Figure 1 shows a composite material 1 which is an antiviral and antibacterial copper sticker consisting of three layers, the top layer being a copper layer 2, below which is an adhesive layer 3 covered by a layer of release paper 4.
The copper layer 2 contains a minimum of 99.900% copper (Cu), 0.015 to 0.040% phosphorus (P), and 0.06 to 0.085% of other chemical substances.
The copper layer 2 is provided as a roll material with a maximum width range of 1,100 mm. The thickness of the copper layer is 0.04 to 1.5 mm. The maximum weight of the coils is 4,000 kg.
The density of the copper material 2 used is 8.94 kg/dm3, the thermal expansion is 17 x 10-6 1/K (ΔT 100 °C = 1.7 mm/m), and the specific heat is 385 J/kg K.
Under the copper layer 2, there is an adhesive layer 3. The adhesive layer 2 uses an adhesive which is a dispersion of polyacryiate:
The physical properties of the composite material are set out in table 3.
To obtain the composite material 1, a roll of copper material 2 is provided, on which an adhesive layer 3 and a layer 4 of release paper are applied using a laminator.
The composite material, or the antiviral and antibacterial copper sticker 1 , is used to cover surfaces in contact with human hands in public or public spaces. To cover the surface, a piece in the shape of the surface to be covered is cut out of the roll of the antiviral and antibacterial copper sticker 1. The removable paper 4 is removed and glued to the surface to be coated. The material is cut by a flatbed cutter machine.
