Description

Magnifier
The present invention relates to a magnifying glass device attached to an information display device worn on the wrist.
In recent years, wristwatch-type personal digital assistants have become widespread and widely used. This portable information terminal is worn on the wrist and used, and the information display surface corresponding to the dial of the wristwatch is composed of a touch panel, and information is displayed on the touch panel. By operating the touch panel, the user can select and display the necessary information.
It is possible to display a lot of information on the information display surface of the mobile information terminal. However, this personal digital assistant has the same size as a wristwatch, and the displayed characters and figures are small, which may make it difficult for some users to read. In such a case, the user can display characters, figures, and the like in a large size by operating the touch panel. However, doing so reduces the amount of information displayed on one screen and requires frequent scrolling. In order to make characters and figures easier to read without reducing the amount of information displayed on one screen, a magnifying glass may be used. Moreover, not only in mobile information terminals but also in ordinary wristwatches, the dial becomes easier to read by using a magnifying glass. Therefore, it has been proposed that a magnifying glass is attached to an information display device worn on the wrist, such as a wristwatch.
As a wristwatch with a magnifying glass attached, a loupe is known to be hinged to the wristwatch body (see Patent Document 1). The wristwatch disclosed in Patent Document 1 has a loupe hinged to the edge of the dial. However, the wristwatch loupe disclosed in Patent Document 1 is for magnifying and viewing something other than the dial, and it is difficult to magnify and view the dial.
Further, as a wristwatch to which a magnifying glass is attached, a wristwatch in which a convex lens is screwed to the wristwatch body is known (see Patent Document 2). In the wristwatch disclosed in Patent Document 2, a circular convex lens is screwed to the edge of a circular dial so as to be removable. Therefore, it is possible to magnify the dial by removing the convex lens. However, in order to magnify the dial, it is necessary to remove the convex lens, which requires a troublesome operation of rotating the convex lens many times. Also, if the convex lens is removed from the wristwatch body, it may be lost.

First, the magnifying glass device according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. 1A and 1B are views showing a magnifying glass device according to the first embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 1A is a schematic perspective view showing a state in which a magnifying glass is not used, and FIG. 1B is a schematic perspective view showing a magnifying glass. It is a schematic perspective view which shows the state of use. 2A and 2B are views showing a state in which a magnifying glass is not used in the magnifying glass device according to the first embodiment of the present invention, where FIG. 2A is a schematic front view and FIG. 2B is a schematic left side view. Is. FIG. 3 is a schematic left side view showing a state in which the arm member and the magnifying glass are rotated in the magnifying glass device according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a schematic left side view showing a state in which a magnifying glass is used in the magnifying glass device according to the first embodiment of the present invention.
First, the information display device 90 to which the magnifying glass device 1 is attached will be described. As shown in FIG. 1, the information display device 90 has a wristwatch type, and has an information display body 91, and an upper belt 92 and a lower belt 93 extending vertically from the information display body 91, respectively. The information display device 90 is attached to the user's wrist by wrapping the upper belt 92 and the lower belt 93 around the user's wrist. The information display body 91 has a display surface 91a, and information provided to the user is displayed on the display surface 91a. Further, the display surface 91a is composed of a touch panel, and the user operates the touch panel to select information to be displayed.
As shown in FIG. 1, the magnifying glass device 1 has an arm member 10 and a magnifying glass 20 as main components. The arm member 10 is composed of frames 11 and 12, and one end 10a thereof is coupled to the information display device 90 via the coupling means 30. A magnifying glass 20 is coupled to the other end 10b of the arm member 10. The coupling means 30 is coupled to the upper belt 92 of the information display device 90. The method of connecting the coupling means 30 and the upper belt 92 can be arbitrarily selected, but the coupling means 30 shown in the figure is coupled so as to wrap around the cross section of the upper belt 92 and can be removed. Another configuration of the coupling means 30 is to have a pair of members extending in the width direction of the upper belt 92, which can be detachably coupled by sandwiching the upper belt 92 from the front and back. It is also possible to integrate the coupling means 30 and the upper belt 92.
Next, the magnifying glass device 1 will be further described with reference to FIG. The frames 11 and 12 constituting the arm member 10 extend in the vertical direction as shown in FIG. 2A, and one end of each thereof is rotatably coupled to the coupling means 30. The frames 11 and 12 are coupled to both ends in the width direction of the coupling means 30, and are arranged apart from each other on the left and right so that the display surface 91a of the information display body 91 can be seen. Further, as shown in FIG. 2B, the frames 11 and 12 are curved in a side view and have a convex shape in the front direction. Further, the frames 11 and 12 are coupled to the coupling means 30 by a hinge (not shown) so as to rotate about the rotation axis R1 extending in the left-right direction in FIG. 2A. In the joint portion between the frames 11 and 12 and the coupling means 30, friction acts so that the frames 11 and 12 can be stationary at an arbitrary rotation position.
A magnifying glass 20 is rotatably coupled to the other ends of each of the frames 11 and 12. The illustrated magnifying glass 20 has a rectangular outer shape and is formed in a convex lens shape at the center, but any shape that allows magnified vision, such as a Fresnel lens, can be selected. The magnifying glass 20 is coupled to the frames 11 and 12 by a hinge (not shown) so as to rotate about the rotation axis R2 extending in the left-right direction in FIG. 2B. At the joint between the frames 11 and 12 and the magnifying glass 20, friction acts so that the magnifying glass 20 can stand still at an arbitrary rotation position.
Since one end of each of the frames 11 and 12 is connected to the coupling means 30 and the other end is connected to the magnifying glass 20, the frames 11 and 12 move integrally and stably as the arm member 10. That is, one end 10a of the arm member 10 is rotatably coupled to the coupling means 30 about the rotation axis R1, and the magnifying glass 20 is rotatably coupled to the other end 10b of the arm member 10 about the rotation axis R2. ing. The position of the magnifying glass 20 shown in FIG. 2 is the position when the magnifying glass 20 is not used. In this state, the other end 10b of the arm member 10 is close to the lower belt 93. Further, in this state, the magnifying glass 20 is located above the rotation axis R2 as a whole, and the edge 20a of the magnifying glass 20 is located below the information display body 91.
Next, the process of moving the magnifying glass 20 from the position when it is not used to the position when it is used will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 to 4. When the magnifying glass 20 is not used, the magnifying glass 20 is in the position shown in FIG. From this position, the arm member 10 is rotated counterclockwise in the figure around the rotation axis R1 and the magnifying glass 20 is rotated counterclockwise in the figure around the rotation axis R2, as shown in FIG. As described above, the magnifying glass 20 is located in front of the information display body 91. From this state, when the arm member 10 is further rotated counterclockwise in the figure around the rotation axis R1 and the magnifying glass 20 is further rotated counterclockwise in the figure around the rotation axis R2, the magnifying glass is further rotated. 20 comes to the position shown in FIG.
In the state shown in FIG. 4, the magnifying glass 20 is separated from the display surface 91a of the information display body 91 in the front direction and is in a posture parallel to the display surface 91a. In this state, the information can be magnified by looking at the display surface 91a through the magnifying glass 20. The positional relationship between the display surface 91a and the magnifying glass 20 for magnifying the information is not limited to the positional relationship shown in FIG. 4, and may be appropriately changed according to the viewpoint of the user and the position of the wrist. When the information display device 90 is attached to the wrist of the left arm, the user can magnify the information by simply moving the magnifying glass 20 from the bottom to the top with the right hand, so that the operation is easy. Is. Further, since the arm member 10 is sufficiently long, a sufficient distance can be secured between the magnifying glass 20 and the display surface 91a, and a sufficiently magnified view can be obtained.
When the magnifying glass 20 has been used, from the state shown in FIG. 4, the arm member 10 is rotated clockwise around the rotation axis R1 and the magnifying glass 20 is rotated around the rotation axis R2. By rotating it clockwise in the figure, the magnifying glass 20 is returned to the position shown in FIG. In the state shown in FIG. 2, the magnifying glass device 1 does not hinder the movement of the user's arm. When the information display device 90 is attached to the wrist of the left arm, the user can simply move the magnifying glass 20 from top to bottom with his right hand and store the magnifying glass 20 in a position that does not get in the way. Therefore, the operation is easy.
Next, the function of the magnifying glass device 1 in a state where the magnifying glass 20 is not used will be described with reference to FIG. As shown in FIG. 2B, the frames 11 and 12 have a convex shape in the front direction, and when the magnifying glass 20 is not used, a part of the frames 11 and 12 displays information. It is located in front of the display surface 91a of the body 91. Since of such a positional relationship, the chance of contacting the display surface 91a from the outside is reduced, and the display surface 91a is prevented from being damaged. As shown in FIG. 2B, the frames 11 and 12 according to the present embodiment are formed and arranged so as to cover the entire information display body 91 in a side view, but at least the frames 11 and 12 are arranged. If a part of the information display body 91 is located in front of the display surface 91a, the function of protecting the display surface 91a is exhibited.
Further, in a state where the magnifying glass 20 is not used, as shown in FIG. 2, the edge 20a of the magnifying glass 20 is located below the information display body 91. The thickness of the information display body 91 is larger than the thickness of the lower belt 93. That is, in this state, the magnifying glass 20 is housed in front of the lower belt 93 and does not protrude toward the display surface 91a of the information display body 91, so that interference with the sleeves of the user's clothes is suppressed.
(Second embodiment)
Next, the second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 5 and 6. 5A and 5B are views showing a state in which a magnifying glass is not used in the magnifying glass device according to the second embodiment of the present invention, where FIG. 5A is a schematic front view and FIG. 5B is a schematic left side view. Is. FIG. 6 is a schematic left side view showing a state in which a magnifying glass is used in the magnifying glass device according to the second embodiment of the present invention. The difference between this embodiment and the first embodiment described above is that the arm member 10 is divided into inner frames 13, 14 and outer frames 15, 16, and the inner frames 13, 14 and outer frames 15, 16 are divided into inner frames 13, 14 and outer frames 15, 16. It is a point where the bent portion 10c between the one end 10a and the other end 10b is rotatably connected around the rotation axis R3. The rotation axis R3 is parallel to the rotation axis R1 and the rotation axis R2. The inner frame 13 and the outer frame 15 are arranged on the left side of the display surface 91a, and the inner frame 14 and the outer frame 16 are arranged on the right side of the display surface 91a. The inner frame 13 on the left side and the inner frame 14 on the right side are connected by a horizontal member 17, whereby the arm member 10 as a whole is reinforced.
As shown in FIG. 5B, when the magnifying glass 20 is not used, the magnifying glass 20 is arranged close to the upper belt 92, and the rotation axis R2 on which the magnifying glass 20 rotates is also displayed on the display surface 91a. It is placed above. On the other hand, the bent portion 10c is arranged close to the lower belt 93. Therefore, the total total length from one end 10a to the other end 10b of the arm member 10 is longer than that of the first embodiment described above.
When using the magnifying glass 20, the inner frames 13, 14, the outer frames 15, 16 and the magnifying glass 20 are rotated around the rotation axes R1, R3, R2, respectively, as shown in FIG. The arm member 10 is extended to the arm member 10. In the state shown in FIG. 6, the magnifying glass 20 is sufficiently separated from the display surface 91a of the information display body 91 in the front direction and is in a posture parallel to the display surface 91a. In this state, by looking at the display surface 91a through the magnifying glass 20, the information can be sufficiently magnified. The positional relationship between the display surface 91a and the magnifying glass 20 for magnifying the information is not limited to the positional relationship shown in FIG. 6, and may be appropriately changed according to the viewpoint of the user and the position of the wrist. Further, since the magnifying glass device 1 according to the present embodiment has three rotation axes, the position of the magnifying glass 20 can be adjusted with a high degree of freedom. It should be noted that even at the joint portion between the inner frames 13 and 14 and the outer frames 15 and 16, friction acts so as to enable the vehicle to stand still at an arbitrary rotation position.
(Other embodiments)
In the first embodiment, the arm member 10 has a pair of frames 11 and 12, but it is also possible to configure the magnifying glass 20 to be cantilevered by one member. Further, the shape of the side view of the arm member 10 can be arbitrarily set. For example, when the magnifying glass 20 is not used, the arm member 10 can be configured so as not to protrude toward the display surface 91a. be. It is also possible to make the arm member 10 a smooth shape so as not to interfere with the sleeves of the user's clothes.
Further, in the above two embodiments, the arm member 10 is connected to the upper belt 92, but it is also possible to connect to the lower belt 93. It can also be configured to be coupled to the information display body 91.
Further, in the above two embodiments, the information display device 90 to which the magnifying glass device 1 is attached is a wristwatch-type portable information terminal, but the present invention is not limited to this. That is, the information display device 90 also includes a wristwatch that provides time information to the user.
