Description

"METHOD IMPLEMENTED BY MEANS OF A COMPUTERIZED SYSTEM
FOR AUTOMATIC GENERATION OF OFFERS OF GOODS OR SERVICES"
★ ★ ★
FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention concerns a method implemented by means of a computerized system for automatic generation of offers of goods or services.
KNOWN ART
In the current world, the online commerce has developed in an increasingly more important way, spreading in a capillary way among the population.
The most renowned sites dedicated to online commerce generally have pages containing offers of various kinds of products, or offers of services such as, for example, hotel reservations, services for flight reservations, train trips, or reservations of medical or dental visits and other.
Generally, the goods or services put on sale are listed within the pages of the online commerce site and a price offered by the seller to the buyer is associated with each of these goods or services.
In particular, such lists emerge following specific searches carried out by users and are presented on the screen of the computer or of a smartphone.
Although the e-commerce organized as such allows to present a vast range of goods or services for buyers, there often is no correspondence between the offer and the demand for a specific good or service. In particular, the buyer may not find the good or service at the desired price, but possibly only at higher prices, and, correspondingly, the seller may not be able to sell the given good or service since the offered price does not meet the maximum amount the buyer wishes to spend.
Moreover, in e-commerce such as currently organized, there is no real face to face interaction between the seller and buyer, as the two subjects operate separately one from the other. In other words, today, the communications via telecommunication between the seller and buyer are automated in one direction only, as the computerized system does not actively come into play whenever the good/service offered for sale does not meet the buyer's possible spending potential.
Object of the present invention is to provide a system which allows an automated possibility to match the demand and offer within the context of an online sales system.
In particular, the invention intends to provide tools which can be easily used by both the sellers and buyers so that to increase the online sales and, consequently, the satisfaction of buyers.
Further object of the present invention is to achieve the above mentioned results in a simple and economic way.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The above objects are achieved thanks to a method for automatic and automated generation of offers of goods and/or services, the above mentioned offers being originated by at least one registered seller and being intended for at least one user, wherein the above mentioned method is implemented by means of a computerized system, wherein the above mentioned computerized system includes at least one storage unit and a timer, at least one control unit configured for: - receiving at least one request for goods and/or services;
- activating the above mentioned timer at the same time as of the receipt of the above mentioned request for goods and/or services; - searching within the above mentioned storage unit for offers of goods and/or services which can be related to the above mentioned request for goods and/or services; wherein the above mentioned search for offers of goods or services is carried out for a predefined time interval starting from the activation of the above mentioned timer;
- transmitting and displaying the result of said search on a display device associated with a user; and if at said search stage there are no offers of goods and/or services offered at a price (P) equal to or lower than a price (Pset) predefined by the user for that good and/or service (block 150), the above mentioned control unit (15) carries out an automatic search of the goods and/or services that are offered for sale at a price (R') different from the predefined price (Pset) of a predetermined amount (DR). The fact that it allows to achieve a more complete coincidence between the demand and offer of goods and/or services can be noted among the advantages of the present invention.
Moreover, the present invention allows to create an interaction between the seller and buyer which occurs through the automatic and telematic intervention of the control unit of the computerized system which, when carrying out an automatic search of goods and/or services offered on sale at a price (R') different from the predefined price (Pset) of a predetermined amount (DR), allows the user to anyhow be informed of the existence of such offers. Moreover, the present invention allows to create an affiliation system between the sellers which allows to better exploit the exchanges of information managed by the computerized system.
Further characteristics of the invention can be deduced from the dependent claims.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will become clearer from the reading of the following description provided by way of example and without limitations, with the aid of the figures illustrated in the accompanying tables, in which:
Figure 1 illustrates a computerized system which allows to implement the method according to the invention;
- Figure 2 illustrates a block diagram of the method according to the invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
The invention will now be described with particular reference to the accompanying figures.
In particular, Figure 1 illustrates a computerized system globally denoted by the numerical reference 10, which allows to implement the method according to the invention. The computerized system 10 comprises at least one control unit 15, at least one storage unit 16 and a timer 12.
The computerized system 10 is accessible by means of a normal desktop 20 of a user, for example a buyer of goods and/or services, or in alternative, by means of a cell phone or smartphone 30 equipped with an appropriate application 35.
Figure 2 illustrates a block diagram of the method according to the invention, a method wherein a stage of receiving at least one request of goods and/or services (block 100) is provided; - a stage of activating the timer 12 at the same time as of the receipt of the above mentioned request for goods and/or services (block 110);
- a stage of searching within the storage unit 16 for offers of goods and/or services which can be related to the above mentioned request for goods and/or services (block 120); wherein the above mentioned search for offers of goods or services is carried out for a predefined time interval (Tset) starting from the activation of the above mentioned timer 12 (block 130);
- transmitting and displaying the result of said search on a display device 20,30 associated with a user (block 140); and if at said search stage there are no offers of goods and/or services offered at a price p equal to or lower than a price Pset predetermined by the user for that good and/or service (block 150), the above mentioned control unit (15) carries out an automatic search of goods and/or services that are offered for sale at a price (R') different from the predefined price (Pset) of a predetermined amount (DR) (block 160).
Whenever the buyer accepts to purchase the good and/or service offered, the control unit 15 automatically sends a message containing the purchase proposal to the seller.
Moreover, whenever the buyer accepts to purchase the good and/or service offered and the good and/or service offered is of intangible nature, the control unit automatically provides to send the good and/or service purchased to the buyer.
Specifically, good of intangible nature can be understood, by way of example only, as an e-book, an audio book in electronic format, a video or a collection of musical pieces.
Specifically, service of intangible nature can be understood, by way of example only, as a subscription to a television channel, a subscription to an electronic magazine, a financial news service or other. Some examples of the system of the invention and the relative variants of the method will be provided below, all for a better understanding of the invention. First and foremost, in terms of user experience, it should be noted that the computerized system comprises the displaying of information on a normal desktop computer 20 or smartphone 30 by means of web pages, starting from a homepage. In particular: a) The user lands on the homepage of the system of the invention; b) the claim "A new world, at the price you want!" and the complementary description "Purchase a product, service or consultation and... Decide their price!" will be displayed in the first slider of the site. c) Always in the first slider, two buttons "Search for what you wish" and "Explore the catalog, " which represent the two search keys and access to the products, services and consultations, will be present.
At this point, the user decides to carry out a search and to make an offer.
From the moment the user positions the cursor, a pop-up appears in the search field with a message of the type: "Register now to launch your offers and find everything you're looking for at the price you want!"
The user can thus choose to fill out a form with the information required "First Name, Last Name, Email," registering the password chosen, authenticating the captcha and proceeding. As an alternative, he will be able to access through the social login. In any case, during the purchase stage, the user must anyhow fill out all the fields required. From the moment the search is initiated, the user will have available:
A search bar (for example of 140 characters) to describe what he is searching. By entering the first letters, whenever the keyword is present in the database, the categories and subcategories which the user may be able to select (up to 3/4 sub-levels depending on the type of service/product/consultation) will be suggested. The user may suggest new categories, which may or may not be inserted at the discretion of the owner of the system of the invention.
The user also has the possibility to insert the link of reference and/or upload an image related to the product searched. The images can be uploaded from one's computer 20 or smartphone 30 or inserted via a "drag&drop" function. At the launch of the application 35, the images can further be uploaded as photographic shots carried out directly from one's device (see figure below). Then, the user will fill out the search field "where are you searching for it," a pop-up for selecting the various options will open in this case.
It should be noted that the search field and the "where" field are mandatory, thus the user may proceed to enter further information for the search only after having entered such data.
A particularly useful function of the present invention is the "search around me" function. By selecting a position or an address, the user can see the results on a map with place-marker pins.
The user can, for example, select to see all the restaurants located in the range of 10km from his position and make an offer to book a fish dinner at 50 Euros for two people on a given day/time.
After the offer has been launched, the user will receive the offers of the restaurants with the menu offered at that price and can then decide to relaunch again to obtain an even lower price, thus establishing a real-time negotiation with the Merchant.
The user will further be able decide to see, on the map, all the businesses present around his position and to carry out offers directly by clicking on one of them, by filling out, as always, all the passages provided in the formulation of an offer.
It should be noted that from its own control panel, the restaurant can insert the menu items with the prices of the various dishes, such as to make it easy to tailor the offer depending on the price defined by the customer.
In the specific case of restaurants/hotels/hospitality businesses, the user receives an electronic voucher when he accepts one of the offers. Such voucher will be valid as a reservation and confirms the payment made to the business to which he will go (Restaurant, Hotel, Etc.). The affiliated business will have a reader available to verify the authenticity of the voucher and annul the validity once used.
Whenever at said search stage there are no offers of goods and/or services offered at a price p equal to or lower than a price Pset predefined by the user for that good and/or service, the control unit 15 carries out an automatic search of goods and/or services that are offered for sale at a price P' different from the predefined price Pset of a predetermined amount DR. Whenever the automatic search of goods and/or services offered for sale at a price P' different from the predefined price Pset of a predetermined amount DR carried out by the control unit 15 provides a positive result, the control unit 15 automatically sends a respective message to the buyer. A refund policy, configured as follows, can further be provided.
The user has the right to present, to the owner of the computerized system which implements the method of the invention, a formal written claim within 24 hours from the purchase of the voucher to report, for example, to have found the restaurant closed (although being indicated by the restaurateur as "open") or to not have found the table reserved (contrarily to what had been agreed to at the purchase of the reservation voucher) or another problem that occurred.
After 24 hours from the purchase without customer complaints, the amount due will then be transferred to the restaurateur (the value of the voucher purchased from the customer), thus withholding our commission on the transaction, as provided by the agreements.
After having filled out the "where" field, the user will specify in the appropriate space which amount he intends to offer for such product/service/consultation.
Such value will be expressed in Euros or in another currency depending on the international versions of the portal. Then, the user can specify whether or for how long he is willing to wait (how long his proposal to the businesses is valid) to purchase a product/service/consultation at the price defined by him.
The options available to the user are: a) immediate reply b) insertion of a time value (minutes, hours, days) further indicated as predefined time interval Tset. Such function will occur through a pop-up with a Date&Time Picker interface. It should be noted that, as far as the restaurants, hotels, consultants and all reservations for which a specific date and/or time can be requested are concerned, it will be possible to choose it from the specific Google calendar function. It is possible to choose from immediate offers or timed offers.
The user can choose whether to: a) make an immediate offer (wait time equal to zero). b) or a timed offer.
For example: an immediate offer wherein a user has decided to make a 50€ offer for the purchase of a sweatshirt.
After the data has been entered and the offer has been launched, the user sees the result of his search (the results he'll see will be products/services/consultations already present in the database and corresponding to his search parameters) .
Such data is subdivided as follows: a) on top, the products at a lower price with respect to his offer (less than 50 Euros); b) in the middle, the products at the same price as his offer (50 Euros); c) at the bottom, the products requiring an addition of money with respect to his offer (greater than 50 Euros).
Each product thumbnail will show the basic information, i.e.: a) Category of belonging b) Name of the product/service/consultation c) Indication as to whether the price is lower, equal to or greater and shipping expenses d) Rating e) Within when it will be shipped
If the user wants to go in depth, by clicking on the thumbnail, he will access the product page, in which he will find comprehensive information and the possibility to select further filters such as size, color, etc.
After seeing all the results, the user will thus be able to click on the single product, read the description, decide whether to purchase: a) at the price specified by the user (50 Euros) by entering the payment data b) below price, at 45 Euros by entering the payment data and by acknowledging a consultation to the owner of the computerized system which implements the method of the invention, for example, in this case, the product will have been inserted by the affiliated business at 40 Euros, the difference between the price requested, which is of 50 Euros, and the price inserted by the business, which is 40 Euros, is of 10 Euros. The owner of the computerized system which implements the method of the invention withholds 50% of the difference from the user for the consultation. The business of the seller will then pay said owner the sales commission on 40 Euros. In this case, the customer will see the product with the writing -5 Euros to make him understand that the final price is of 45 Euros (50 Euros - 5 Euros). c) surcharge of 10 Euros with respect to the price specified by the user (50 Euros) when entering the payment data and thus paying 60 Euros. In this case, the customer will see the product with the writing +10 Euros to make him understand that the final price is of 60 Euros (50 Euros +
10 Euros). Moreover, the user will have the following options whenever he is not satisfied with the results seen (stage of leaving the page), i.e. at the stage of changing/leaving the page, the user will be invited: a) to allow the owner of the computerized system which implements the method of the invention to forward the offer to the partner businesses to obtain more advantageous prices; b) to make another offer; c) to explore the catalog. It is provided to communicate to the user to have contacted the selling businesses present and registered within the computerized system which implements the method of the invention, i.e. the selling businesses will receive an email/"push" notice with the request and can reply to the user with offers of products or services not present in the catalog or lowering their items, thus offering them at a different price with respect to the one entered at the data entry stage.
In the following 24 hours, the user will receive the offers in his private area, he will thus be able to select and decide whether or not to accept them and finalize the purchase).
By selecting the option "make another offer and find the price you want," the procedure will resume as usual. By selecting the option "explore the catalog," a new type of navigation will open.
After having carried out the purchase, the offer will be deleted and the sellers can check to make sure it is no longer available. Moreover, the seller must specify for how long he intends to make that offer available for the user such as not to be too bound. From the moment a product or service has been inserted, the seller must specify the threshold limit under which he does not want to receive possible offers from users.
An example of a timed offer based on a user who decided to make a 50€ offer for the purchase of a sweatshirt is now provided.
After having entered the data in the appropriate fields: a) Search b) Link or Picture c) Location d) Price offered e) Time the user is willing to wait and the offer has been launched, the user will see the result of his search (the results he'll see will be products/services/consultations already present in the database and corresponding to his search parameters).
In the top part of the page with the search results, he will see a counter or timer 12 which will clearly indicate how long before the expiration of his offer.
Such data will be subdivided as follows: a) on top, the products at a lower price with respect to his offer (less than 50 Euros); b) in the middle, the products at the same price as his offer (50 Euros); c) at the bottom, the products requiring an addition of money with respect to his offer (greater than 50 Euros).
Each product thumbnail will show the basic information. (See the picture below).
1) Category of belonging
2) Name of the product/service/consultation
3) Indication as to whether the price is lower, equal to or greater and shipping expenses 4) Rating
5) Within when it will be shipped
If the user wants to go in depth, by clicking on the thumbnail, he will access the product page, in which he will find comprehensive information and the possibility to select further filters such as size, color, etc.
After seeing all the results, the user will thus be able to click on the single product, read the description, decide whether to purchase: a) at the price by him specified (50 Euros) by entering the payment data b) below price, at 45 Euros by entering the payment data and by acknowledging a consultation to the owner of the computerized system which implements the method of the invention (for example, in this case, the product will have been inserted by the affiliated business at 40 Euros, the difference between the price requested, which is of 50 Euros, and the price inserted by the business, which is 40 Euros, is of 10 Euros). The owner of the system withholds 50% of the difference from the user for the consultation. The selling business will then pay the sales commission on 40 Euros to the owner of the system. In this case, the customer will see the product with the writing -5 Euros to make him understand that the final price is of 45 Euros (50 Euros -5 Euros). c) surcharge of 10 Euros with respect to the price specified by the user (50 Euros) when entering the payment data and thus paying 60 Euros. In this case, the customer will see the product with the writing +10 Euros to make him understand that the final price is of 60 Euros (50 Euros + 10 Euros).
In case of a timed offer of consultations and services, the user may have the necessity to communicate with the professional, before or after having purchased a service/consultation, so that to precisely specify needs and specific requests.
The professionals may anyhow upload their services to the catalog, but there will be the option (by means of a message-chat-email. The tool is yet to be defined) of a direct communication with the customer.
Example of Case Study 1 - Exchange of messages before having purchased a product:
A dental office uploads the item "cavity treatment € 80" to the catalog, the user is interested in the purchase of the service but would first like to know more about his dental problem. At this point (always by way of example), the dentist advises the user to make a panorex, which he offers at the price of € 80, through the messaging system.
The customer accepts and proceeds with the payment. The relationship will then be able to continue and the following services will be able to be purchased by the user both on the system of the invention and directly at the dentist's.
Example of Case Study 2 - Exchange of messages after having purchased a product: A dental office uploads the item "dental whitening €
100" to the catalog, the user is interested and proceeds with the purchase. Then, he realizes his teeth hurt and contacts the dentist at which he purchased the service.
At this point (always by way of example), the dentist advises the user to make a panorex, which he offers at the price of € 80, through the messaging system.
The customer accepts and proceeds with the payment. The relationship will then be able to continue and the following services will be able to be purchased by the user both on the computerized system of the invention and directly at the dentist's.
After having carried out a purchase, the system of the invention can suggest an upsell to the user by showing him products related to his and purchased by other users. At the end of each sale, the user will be invited to proceed through a pop-up with the writing "make another offer and find what you wish at the price you decide" and the procedure will resume as above.
The explore the catalog function will be accessible: a) From the first slider, by clicking on the button "Explore the catalog" which will lead to a further selection between "Services" and "Consultations" (see the picture below). b) while navigating on the homepage (a central section with indication of product categories will be present) (see the picture below). At this point, after having expressed one's preference, the user will have the possibility to see all the products and services in the catalog.
It is possible to provide an initial testing stage to see the behavior of customers depending on the two possibilities that can be implemented by the owner of the system.
Example of Case Study 1
The user sees all the products, consultations and services but not the prices. The waiting time to receipt and the shipping expenses to be paid aside are anyhow displayed for each product.
It is thus possible to click on the image and to decide to make an offer on the specific product, consultation and service as specified in the site by first entering one's payment data (the offer is binding).
Whenever the offer respects the parameters set by the seller or whenever the price offered by the partner will even be lower, there will be an immediate purchase.
An upsell will then follow as provided by the preceding stage.
Whenever the offer does not respect the price parameters entered by the seller at the insertion stage, the user will receive a message saying the price is greater than a given amount, for example 10 Euros. Whenever the user accepts to pay 10 Euros more, there will be an immediate purchase, whenever he should leave the cart since unwilling to pay the "ten Euro surcharge," the system will reply that it's searching for other solutions, asking him whether:
1. he wants to keep his offer bound for a time set by the user who will be able to select so that to give the computerized system the opportunity to contact the seller and negotiate with him.
In this case, the initial amount, thus the 50 €, remains frozen.
In this case, the computerized system will thus contact the seller informing him at which price the user would have been willing to purchase, thus requesting him to authorize the computerized system to offer that good or service again at the price requested by the user. The seller will thus be able to decide whether to accept to lower the price of the offer of the computerized system and, at that point, the computerized system will contact again the user, thus informing him that the purchase was carried out and an upsell will thus follow as provided by the preceding stage. 2. the user does not want to keep his offer bound, but lets the computerized system search his product at the price defined by him between the various businesses present in the portal.
In this case, the computerized system will thus contact all sellers who have that product, or the like, available thus highlighting the offer of the customer.
If one of the sellers accepts the offer of the customer, the user will receive a message saying "we found this offer for you."
A counter or timer 12 indicates the expiration of the offer.
The user will be able to accept one of the offers and proceed with the purchase.
Example of Case Study 2
The user sees all the products, consultations and services, as well as the prices. The waiting time to receipt and the shipping expenses to be paid aside will also be displayed for each product.
Two buttons are provided with the writing:
1. "BUY NOW": to directly purchase the product, consultation or service at the price shown. The payment section will thus open and, after having carried out the purchase, an upsell will then follow as provided by the preceding stage.
2. "MAKE YOUR DEAL" to make a counteroffer on the specific product, consultation and service as indicated in the site at a lower price with respect to the one shown.
The user will be able to carry out the offer by first entering his payment data, the offer will thus be binding.
A bar with two buttons will thus open: 1) AMOUNT
Under this button, the following must be written: "Enter the amount you want to offer for this product"
2) TIME
Under this button, the following must be written: "Enter for how long your offer is available".
The sellers will receive the message and will be able to manually decide within the requested time selected by the user in the TIME button whether to accept the offer at a lower price with respect to the one the user has entered in the AMOUNT button.
3) CLICK AND COLLECT
Whenever the affiliated business should also have a store opened to the public, the user will be able to purchase the products on the portal of the computerized system and to decide to pick them up directly in the store without paying the shipping expenses.
4) OFFLINE PURCHASES
The computerized system gives the possibility to its affiliated consumers to find affiliated businesses through its application 35, thus to verify what they are offering for sale and to read the feedback of other users on the quality of the products or services offered. The user will then be able to go directly to the affiliated business without necessarily making an online purchase, but will be able to directly purchase products and services at the structure of the affiliated business. It will anyhow be in the consumer's interest to inform the affiliated business that he is an affiliated consumer of the computerized system and can thus request, after having carried out the payment, to register the purchase via the application 35 (the selling affiliated business will be able to read the user recognition BAR CODE via the application 35 and present on the application 35 of the user) for the following reasons:
- the consumer will be able to provide feedback on the affiliated business; - the affiliated business will acknowledge a commission to the owner of the computerized system, a commission variable depending on the commodity sector to which he belongs, as indicated in the General Contract Conditions (CGC) signed at the time of affiliation. From the commission acknowledged to the owner of the computerized system (example 10%), the customer will be acknowledged a number of EP Plus equal to half the commission percentage (according to the example 5EP Plus) and 5 EP will be acknowledged to all the network to which the consumer belongs. The EP Plus will become part of a Loyalty Program of the consumer and, after having reached a minimum number of 100, can be converted into vouchers to be spent among the businesses affiliated to the computerized system. The conversion value of 1 EP Plus is of 0.50 Euros.
AFFILIATION EXPENSES
At the initial stage, the businesses or partner consultants will pay an annual fee to be registered online whenever registering directly through the site, and a slightly greater annual fee for being registered online whenever registering through a marketer.
The offline registration is for now free and is included in the online rate. A loyalty program for building even more loyalty with users is present to make sure the same use the application 35 for searching for the affiliated businesses and for purchasing through the same also offline. The affiliated businesses must obligatorily register the transactions of the users of the computerized system after payment has been made offline through the reader present on the application 35, under penalty of being deleted from the circuit of the computerized system.
The experience of partners in the computerized system (networker sellers, sellers with a VAT number, consultants and service providers) is now illustrated.
STAGE 1 (REGISTRATION)
Two types of registrations are provided: autonomous through the site or through the ATLANTINEX network via the affiliation link.
1. Autonomous registration through the site:
In the homepage of the computerized system, a button "PRIVATE AREA, " which will give access to the sections "PARTNERS" and "NETWORKERS", is present on top.
After having clicked on the button "PARTNERS", the Partner will have the possibility to become part of the computerized system with two buttons:
- Are you already a partner?
- Is this your first registration? (This is for new users who want to register directly to the site).
BUTTON 1. Are you already a partner?
At this point, the partner will be required to enter his credentials as a networker and will directly be inside the private area. He will have the possibility to become part of the computerized system and to insert new or used products as a private individual. On all the products, services or consultations sold to private individuals, the commission is at this stage fixed at 10%.
He will enter his personal data, bank data for receiving the payments from the computerized system and confirm his credit card data (or Paypal or other payment system), which he will have already given at the initial registration stage, to make his purchases within the computerized system.
BUTTON 2. Is this your first registration?
At this point, the seller will be required to enter his credentials and will become PARTNER at a predetermined one time price for twelve months.
To register, the seller will enter his personal data, including the VAT number, bank data for receiving the payments from the computerized system and his credit card (or Paypal or other payment system) data to make his purchases within the computerized system.
After having entered all the data, the seller must fill out the following fields:
- main business (he will be able to choose his business from a set of businesses already present in the system, to which a "business reference code" will be attributed. For example, all lawyers are category C01. Whenever his business is not present among those in the system, a writing "your business is still not present? Suggest it now" will appear.
There will be a space where the seller will be able to enter his business, an email will be received from the administration of the computerized system which must or may not accept the category within 48 hours, after which he will be notified of the insertion of the new category and the relative "business reference code" or the authorization will be denied requesting the PARTNER to enter a new category or to affiliate with an already existing category. The process will be repeated until the computerized system will have given the authorization or the PARTNER will have anyhow decided to register to an already existing category. Each business code provides for the acknowledgment of a commission of a minimal percentage to the owner of the computerized system for each transaction to be carried out by an offline customer. location where the products are produced or sold, location where the consultations or services are offered.
2. Registering via the affiliation link.
After having clicked on the affiliation link sent by the Networker (via email or via WA message or other platform), the partner will be directly within the private area. He will have the possibility to become part of an affiliation network related to the computerized system at a predetermined one time price for twelve months.
The partner will enter his personal data, including the VAT number, bank data for receiving the payments from the computerized system and his credit card (or Paypal) data to make his purchases within the computerized system.
After having entered all the data, he must fill out the following fields: - main business (he will be able to choose his business from a set of businesses already present in the system, to which a "business reference code" will be attributed. For example, all lawyers are category C01. Whenever the seller's business is not present among those in the system, a writing "your business is still not present? Suggest it now" will appear. There will be a space where he will be able to enter his business, an email will be received from the administration of the computerized system which must or may not accept the category within 48 hours, after which he will be notified of the insertion of the new category and the relative "business reference code" or the authorization will be denied requesting the PARTNER to enter a new category or to affiliate with an already existing category. The process will be repeated until the computerized system will have given the authorization or the PARTNER will have anyhow decided to register to an already existing category. Each business code provides for the acknowledgment of a commission of a minimal percentage to the owner of the computerized system for each transaction to be carried out by an offline customer.
- location where the products are produced or sold, location where the consultations or services are offered.
STAGE 2 (INSERTION OF PRODUCTS, CONSULTATIONS OR SERVICES)
After having entered the data of the STAGE 1 registration and prior to obtaining the partner code attributed, he will be able to start inserting the products, consultations and services he wants to offer within his private area.
At the launch stage, the networkers under affiliation will train the partners for the insertion of their products, consultations and services. When the computerized system will be present on the market for a while, new partners will already have well- defined categories and subcategories within which to insert their products.
At the launch sage, there still will not be many categories and subcategories present, thus, the first three sellers, consultants and professionals of a specific category will thus enter the name of their category and suggest the subcategories within which to insert their products, consultations or services at the time of registration. The categories and subcategories must be authorized by the computerized system also at this stage. This will constitute a real nourishment for the PARTNER section and it is necessary to well train the networkers so that they are able to better carry out this essential activity so that the user, at the moment of the offer, can insert it by searching for it in the most appropriate categories that will be suggested by the computerized system.
The first three PARTNERS of each category will thus have an essential role.
For the PARTNERS following the first three, whenever they do not find the category in which to insert their products, they can click on the "suggest category" and also on "suggest subcategory" keys.
After having inserted the category or subcategory suggested, the message will arrive to the computerized system which will decide on the authorization of the new category and once it will have been accepted, the new partner will receive a message.
The "suggest new category" and "new subcategory" function is also provided for the preceding partners so that they can update their products, services or consultations over time.
The PARTNER will thus insert his products, services and consultations in his private area. He will fill out the various fields of reference, attaching, whenever possible, a picture of the product, service or consultation, a description as detailed as possible of the same, quantities and sizes. The PARTNER will further set the price at which he is will to sell for each product, service or consultation.
The PARTNER will have a MANUAL AUCTION section available within which he will be able to see the offers that users will make at a lower price with respect to the one initially set by the PARTNER, but within the threshold of the minimum price specified by him, with a timer running for each offer, indeed to verify which are still available.
This first to not exclude the PARTNER and to give him the possibility to intervene also in a second moment. It is possible, but not mandatory, to show the PARTNER the price offered by the user or to inform him only if there is a request at a lower price than the one set by the PARTNER.
The partner, in the MANUAL AUCTION section, will thus be able to decide whether to accept the offer at a lower price with respect to the one set at the product insertion stage.
The products, services and consultations of the PARTNER will be able to be seen by the user only once the "reference code" has been obtained from the computerized system. The reference code will be used to be able to communicate to the partner the percentage to be acknowledged to the owner of the computerized system on each transaction carried out offline.
As far as the online is concerned, the partner will be able to decide whether to apply a different commission percentage to be acknowledged to the owner of the computerized system for each product, the minimum is 5%. For each Euro that the selling business will acknowledge to the owner of the computerized system, the same will acknowledge 1 EP to the Network of affiliation.
The PARTNER will thus have to accept by flagging the documents necessary for the approval of the contract and once received, the owner of the computerized system will authorize the PARTNER and will make the products, services and consultations offered by the same available.
STAGE 3 (PAYMENTS) As far as the shipped online products are concerned, the
PARTNER will be paid by the computerized system after fifteen days from receipt of the product by the user so that to ensure the refund of the money to the user whenever he should exercise his right of withdrawal of 14 days, as provided by law.
In his back office, the PARTNER will see all the uploaded products and services, those sold, how much he invoiced, how much he paid to the owner of the computerized system, the offers related to his sector still at the auction stage and all the data necessary for better performing his business.
The partner must make sure a product inserted in the site is effectively still available in his warehouse and that it still has not been sold. Whenever it should not be available, he must specify within when he ensures the shipment so that the user can see it immediately prior to carrying out the purchase (in case of timed offers) or prior to making the offer (in case of catalog offers). Whenever, for any reason, a product is purchased by the user because seen as available but the partner should not be able to ship it within the times agreed to, it is established in the contract that the partner engages to correspond a penalty to the user of double the amount paid, under penalty of being excluded from the circuit of the computerized system.
STAGE 4 (RANKING AND ADVERTISING)
Similar products of the same price may be present within the site. Clearly, seeing a product, service or consultation before another will give more possibility to the PARTNER to sell with respect to another competitor.
For this reason, the user will first see: the products, services and consultations of the PARTNERS who invest in advertising within the computerized system; the more economical products, services and consultations similar to those requested by the user.
At the same price, the computerized system will prefer the product, service or consultation that has been present for longer on the site.
Purchasing advertising will give the partner the possibility to be present at the upsell stage, in newsletters and in some institutional advertising.
For every hundred Euros of advertising purchased, 50 EP will be acknowledged to the networkers' network.
STAGE 5 (TRAINING)
The training of the partners by the networkers is essential .
For this reason, the incentives for networkers to ensure that the partner better carries out his profession are the following :
- commission of 0.5%/0.75%/l% on the invoicing generated by the PARTNER directly affiliated by the Networker within the computerized system. The percentage differences will be explained in the NETWORKER EXPERIENCE section.
- 100 Euros + 149 EP as commission for the Merchant
Marketers (professional figure which will be explained in the NETWORKER EXPERIENCE section) to whom the training of a business that registered directly on the site of the computerized system will be entrusted.
STAGE 6 (FEEDBACK)
The user will further be able to be assessed by the PARTNER to that to avoid super pains in the butt who carry out purchases, but who always send the merchandise back, for example .
STAGE 7 (NETWORK)
The partner will be able to affiliate its customers within the computerized system.
STAGE 8 (COMMUNICATIONS) The PARTNER will have, within his back office, the possibility to communicate directly with the business via a private chat.
A CHAT BOT, which will reply to the questions of the customer, business and networker will be present in the site.
The customers and businesses, also whenever they should not be Networkers affiliated with the affiliation system related to the computerized system of the invention, generate EPs for each purchase carried out at the partner businesses of the computerized system. This allows us to entice USERS and PARTNERS to purchase again in the computerized system.
As far as the affiliation with the computerized system is concerned, the businesses of the big organized distribution (GDO) will also be present and will offer their products or services without the possibility to make auctions, but at a fixed price. This anyhow gives the possibility to networkers to purchase products and services while collecting valid EPs for their career.
Obviously, the invention as described can be modified or improved for contingent or particular reasons, without thereby departing from the object of the invention.
The purchase mechanism of the portal is supported by an innovative payment system named "Atlantipay" based on "Wallet," a wallet available to Customers and Merchants, by means of which the users can: make peer-to-peer transactions for the transfer of funds between users (wallet-to-wallet), load the balance and save the payment methods. Thus, Atlantipay allows users to carry out digital, immediate and ensured payments both on the Atlantidex portal and at the affiliated merchants, without the intermediation of banking or credit card circuits. Moreover, this payment tool is a significant advantage for the sales carried out between private individuals, in the second-hand market of Atlantidex.
DATA
Moreover, it is important to underline the centrality of the R&S activity for the purpose of collecting and processing the data necessary to the implementation of the data-driven marketing activities, as described here below. Such strategy, aimed to customize promotional ads intended for the users of Atlantidex, is based on a strategy of inbound marketing, which consists of activities such as emails and social media marketing, sponsorships on search engines and social media and other activities aimed at profiling the target segment via targeted SEO and content marketing tools. Instead, as far as the training is concerned, the Atlantidex group constantly trains users, both as far as the use of the Atlantidex e-commerce portal is concerned and for the use of the Atlantinex portal, as well as for the professional growth of affiliated Marketers. Particular importance is devoted to training provided in a continuous way to the Marketers of Atlantinex, in the context of network marketing. The training of the Marketer constitutes one of the added values of the Atlantidex group, which can count on the support of some of the main prominent figures of the national scene on themes related to network marketing.
Finally, the Customer Assistance activity is essential for the scalability of the entire project, since it contributes to the continuous improvement of the customer experience related to both of the portals of the group. The strategy followed by the Atlantidex group indeed provides for the use of data for the purpose of improving interactions with the customer, both in terms of the e-commerce and Marketers. Such process is aimed to provide the end customer with an intuitive and customized service based on the preferences expressed by each segment of customers.
Finally, the data recorded will be used for statistical and commercial purposes. The management of the data is useful from an internal point of view since it strengthens the power of the integrated tools of the portal, which allow users to accurately assess their performance within the platform and to analytically plan the improvement thereof.
