Description

AN INNOVATION IN SHREDDING MACHINES USED IN THE separation OF INTERMEDIATE PRODUCTS CONTAINING RUBBER AND STEEL CORD
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to an innovation in shredding machines used for the separation of non- vulcanized rubber and steel cord intermediate products into rubber and steel wire at the production stage of tire factories.
In particular, the invention relates to a shredding machine comprising a jaw holding the chain positioning it in the slot from the first ring preventing it from being broken and the head from being damaged and the head ensuring the chain to be held positioning the jaws in the cavities in the wing.
STATE OF THE ART
Many different types of rubber, filling material and other materials are used in the rubber of the vehicle tire. These materials are mixed to form a homogeneous mixture in large mixers (Bambury) to provide a composition and the prepared rubber mixture is made ready for different rubber production bands. The rubber, which is homogeneously mixed by prescribing it according to the area of use, is prepared to be processed in the related processes, forming the basic structure of the tire. All the previously prepared fabrication components (tread rubber, heel wire, steel coated belt packages and carcass ply, sidewall paste, textile covered rubber) are combined in the tire manufacturing machine to form a new tire carcass form. This new tire carcass form is pressed into the pattern form determined under pressure time and temperature and the tires become finished. The result is a new tire. Rubber coated steel wires before curing (vulcanized) process; both standard and accepted ordinary or extraordinary wastages occur. As these wastes come out of every part of the tire, the part we are interested in is the rubber coated steel wire section and the new tire (carcass) formed but not vulcanized. The Rubber coated steel wire providing mechanical strength contains approximately 60% steel wire - 40% rubber. The technical specs of the unvulcanized (unburned) rubber-coated steel wire as required by the process in the rubber manufacturing make it difficult to separate and it becomes much more difficult to separate it since the cumulative agglomerates caused by storage conditions provide uncontrolled inert fusion. In addition, since it is a durable product that also keeps the carcass structure of the unvulcanized (unburned) formed new tires and provides fusion between layers, the mechanical processing of the carcass, its recycling and separation of rubber and wire from its content are very difficult.
In the present technique, a head connected to a shaft rotating in a round chamber and a pair of chains attached to it are used for such separation separation is closely related to the shape of the head and the connection form of the chain, especially, for these intermediate products. Since the shape of the head is not specific to this product, the process is both prolonged and inadequate separation occurs. Furthermore, since the connection of the chain to this head is provided by means of a round pin or bush, the wear on this pin and bush is very fast due to centrifugal force. The bush breaks from this chain connection due to wear and needs frequent repairs.
In addition, the main input raw materials (steel wire, textile, rubber, carbon) of the tires are all imported petrochemicals or products of natural origin. When we consider the scrap of thousands of tons of these products due to work or quality, the cost of burning 90% of them for disposal cause a substantial damage to the economy of our country and create serious damages to our world in terms of emission and environmental effects.
Consequently, for the solution of the above-mentioned problems existing in the present technique, the need for an innovation in the shredding machines, used for the separation of intermediate products containing non-vulcanized rubber and steel cord to rubber and steel wire, and the inadequacy of the existing solutions require a development in the relevant technical field. OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION
The invention solves all the above mentioned problems at the same time. The invention relates to an innovation in shredding machines used for the separation of non-vulcanized rubber and steel cord intermediate products into rubber and steel wire at the production stage of tire factories in its most general form.
The most important aim of the invention is to achieve a great recovery by providing 100% separation of steel wire coated rubber scraps containing nearly 60% steel wire and 40% rubber, and new unburned carcass scraps. Here, the steel wire is melted for recovery and the rubber is granulated to obtain either a commodity in this form or the raw material of the regenerated rubber.
Another object of the invention is to direct the rubber and steel cord material from the center to the chain due to the angular two connecting ends of the head during each rotation because of the special shape of the head structure. Thus, the material is ensured to meet the chain quickly.
Another object of the invention is to prevent frequent breakage due to wear, since the first ring of the chain is completely connected to the head with its body. Because the chain is used for the connection here and rings of the chain are from the same metal, wear is very low due to the same hardness. In addition, the life of the connection is long.
Another object of the invention is to use Calcium Carbonate (CaCoB) to prevent re-adhesion as a result of separation of steel wire and rubber. Calcium Carbonate (CaCo3) helps maintain the dimensional balance of rubber.
Another object of the invention is to convert the rubber, which has been turned into granule, into a regenerated rubber again, to become an economical raw material that will reduce the costs of the new tire factories that are scrapping thanks to a quality filling material, and thus make it possible for the scraps to be remanufactured by purchasing its own product. It will provide very high added value to the country economy. The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the innovation will be comprehended more clearly thanks to the following figures and the detailed description written by making reference to these figures and therefore, the evaluation must be performed considering these figures and detailed description.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
This detailed description is related to an innovation, subject to the invention, that is made in shredding machines used for the separation of non-vulcanized rubber and steel cord intermediate products into rubber and steel wire at the production stage of tire factories.
Figures 1-2 show the shredding machine subject to the invention. In the shredding machines used in the present technique, intermediate products containing unvulcanized rubber and steel cord are thrown into the chamber (10). The movement of the drive system (50) is transferred to the shaft (70) by the transmission system (60). With the rotation of the shaft (70), the head (20) connected to the shaft (70) and the chain (40) connected to the head (20) are also rotated and the separation process is performed on the rubber and steel wire. Here, during the separation of intermediate products containing non-vulcanized rubber and steel cord, the round pins or bushings used to connect the chain (40) to the head (20) are broken during the rotation and disintegration process. This means replacement and use of new head (20). This causes substantial costs.
Figures 3 - 4 show the head (20) and jaws (30) which are the subject of the invention we have developed. Here, the chain (40) is positioned in the slot (31) between the jaws (30) and the jaws (30) are ensured to be closely connected with each other. These jaws (30) are positioned in the cavities (22) in the wing (21) placed in the head (20). Thus, the chain (40) is prevented from being broken during rotation of the head (20) and disintegration process. Therefore, the process of separation of intermediate products containing non-vulcanized rubber and steel cord into rubber and steel wire is successfully carried out at the production phase of tire factories. Due to the wings (21) of the head (20), rotated in the middle and used in the invention, the material placed in the chamber (10) is rapidly directed towards the chain (40). Thus, a fast separation is achieved. In a circular head used in the present technique, the material remains in the middle of the head without seeing the chain for a long time, causing the separation to be extended. In addition, the chain (40) attached to the head (20) has a long life since it is attached to the head (20) starting from the body together with its first ring. The wear time is elongated due to friction of the chain (40) to the chain (40) because the hardness properties of the same metal are the same. In addition, during the separation process, Calcium Carbonate (CaCoB) is placed in the chamber (10) to prevent the rubber and steel wire separated from each other from sticking together again as a result of the heat generated during the rotation of the head (20). Here, other materials can be substituted for Calcium Carbonate (CaCo3), but the least expensive material is Calcium Carbonate. (CaC03)
Steel wire and rubber separated by our invention mentionedhere are products that can be used as raw materials in related fields. Thus, the obtained rubber is recycled with steel wire and used as a raw material since it is not vulcanized.
The scope of protection of this application is set out in the requirements section and it cannot be limited to the ones described above for the purpose of exemplary purposes. It is clear that a person skilled in the technique can demonstrate the innovation provided in the invention using similar embodiments and / or apply it to other areas with similar purpose used in the technique. It is therefore clear that such structures will lack the criterion of overcoming the known state of the innovation and in particular of the technique.
