Abstract

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

It is the object of the present invention, as the title of the invention establishes, an active device, that is to say a device that actively and not passively cancels the operative capacity of any aggressive virus before its contact with cellular tissues, which It is also in the form of a mask and has, among other elements, an eye protection screen.

The present invention is characterized by the special design, configuration and functionality of each and every one of the parts and elements that are part of the active device that offers not only a barrier of protection against viruses, but also fights, inactivates and neutralizes them. in an active and efficient way.

Therefore, the present invention is circumscribed within the scope of respiratory, digestive and ocular entry way protection devices in the protection against external agents harmful to cellular tissues, particularly protection against pathogens present in the environment dissolved in the air.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Currently, in the fight against pandemics, passive prevention is fundamentally used, which consists of everything that the WHO recommends, such as washing hands, use of disinfectants, masks, gloves, screens, distancing measures and in extreme situations, confinement. However, despite the fact that these passive protection means help to significantly reduce the entry of viruses into cell tissues, the virus is not actively fought and even its neutralization. When we talk about viruses, we are preferably referring to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) which is described as a spherical structure between 100 and 160 nm in diameter, contains positive polarity single-stranded RNA (ssRNA) with a length between 26 and 32 kilobases. Before the arrival of vaccines, curative or palliative drugs for symptomatic treatments, it is necessary to develop protection devices that are not only passive but also active that are able to combat and eliminate the virus. The objective of the present invention being to develop a device such as the one described below and which is reflected in its essentiality in the first claim.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is an active device, that is, it actively fights to neutralize the virus, in addition to offering protection passive, which is in the form of an antiviral mask and which, among other elements, has eye protection.

It is about eliminating and / or neutralizing an aggressive element that has weak points despite its great abilities for the survival, proliferation and deterioration of cellular elements through the distortion of the different body systems. There is the probability of future sequelae in the cases of salvation of patients who have been severely punished by COVID-19 leaving systemic problems. The objective of the device is to nullify the operational capacity of the aggressor (virus) before it contacts the cellular tissue based on knowledge of the virus and knowledge of the media.

The active device comprises the following elements that we present below and that are exposed from the outermost element in relation to the user's face towards the closest element and in contact with the wearer's face:

- In the first place, a means of mechanical protection.

- Next, impregnable filtering means, that is to say, mounted on the device, are capable of being impregnated without having to be extracted in order to be impregnated. - Some means of support and impregnation of the impregnable filter media.

- Some means of eye protection.

- Next, it has means of joining the pieces and emitting radiation, disinfectants, provided with means of evacuating the interior air.

- Flexible adaptation means to the face of the wearers of the device.

- Some means of fixing and securing the set of the previous elements to the user's head. The mechanical protection means in a possible embodiment is an outer mask provided with a series of horizontal-type openings in the form of gills oriented like a blind with a lower opening. The support and impregnation means consist of a piece provided with a series of horizontal grooves and that in the upper perimeter part has a projection tube of disinfectant material from some lateral tanks.

Between the outer mask and the clamping and impregnation piece, a chamber is defined in which the impregnable filter media is housed, which has the particularity of being able to be impregnated directly while keeping the device active, not being necessary to disassemble it to extract the impregnable filter and re-impregnate it. The means for joining the pieces and emitting disinfectant radiation in a possible embodiment comprise a central piece provided with a central opening that has perimeter radiation emission means, which in a possible embodiment consist of a strip of LEDs of ultraviolet radiation that have a high disinfectant power, its relationship with generating ozone and inhibiting all types of viruses and bacteria, said strip being powered by a battery and activated by means of a microswitch (or by means of a wireless connection such as Bluetooth) both housed in this centerpiece. This central piece serves as a means of articulated joining of the outer mask and the clamping and impregnation part, counting for this on its lower edge with cylinders in which the outer mask and the clamping and impregnation part articulate by means of hinges. . On the central piece there is a flexible adapter that will preferably be made of hypoallergenic silicone that allows adaptation to all types of faces and avoids dermatological problems. In addition, an air recycling valve is arranged on this central piece, which allows the accumulated air to escape with a system similar to the drip valves for serum or microdispenser for colony samples. Unique air outlet capability for recycling prevents entry of viruses and pollutants.

The waste air outlet is oriented towards the ground with a projection in the form of a dispenser integrated in the housing, similar to those for soap or cologne. It will be located in the lower part of the mask at the back of the support piece where the disinfectant dispensers are located laterally.

Finally, the assembly is attached to the user's head by means of elastic fasteners. The active device is completed by an eye protection screen that is placed on the holding element and impregnation of the impregnable filter by means of lugs. In addition, on the eye protection screen there is a locking hook that unlocks the outer mask when it is folded.

Thanks to the characteristics described, the following advantages are achieved compared to similar devices or elements:

- In the first place, it is an active protection device that fights and neutralizes viruses and is not only a passive protection element. - By having horizontally oriented inlet grids in the shape of a semi-closed shutter, the entry of the virus is made difficult due to its great weight, size and the need for front entry.

- It has a first active combat barrier neutralizing viruses through an impregnable filter, which for its impregnation does not require the active intervention of the wearer, but the device itself does it automatically, this does not prevent the use of impregnated filters prefabricated. It has a second active combat barrier neutralizing viruses consisting of a means of emission of disinfectant radiation.

It has an eye protection.

It is adaptable to all types and sizes of faces without generating dermatological problems.

It is a removable system with great ease for cleaning and disinfection.

It is an active and lightweight device.

The physical elements used in its manufacture are replaceable and are not harmful to the user or pedestrians.

It is a totally hermetic device that does not allow the virus to pass through other than the outer layer of the mask.

It can be used for other uses than specifically for viral protection.

It avoids the human confinement of the aggressor agents, since it acts as an active barrier between the virus and the wearer of the device.

The filter could be impregnated with any type of chemical and / or medicinal substances that are beneficial to the user and harmful to the offending agent.

It has the ability to recycle air accumulated inside through a valve with a single outlet direction.

It inactivates viruses if the user of the device is a carrier, since inside they are neutralized after leaving the respiratory tract.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION.

In view of the figures, a preferred embodiment of the proposed invention is described below.

In figure 1 we can see that the mask comprises from its outer part in relation to the user's face towards the part closest to the user, with the following elements:

- an outer mask (1) whose objective is to be the first barrier against the virus, preferably but not limitingly, it is made of non-porous rigid plastic PVC material. Said mask (1) is provided with a series of inlet slots (2) which, unlike other masks, are horizontal in the shape of oriented fish gills similar to a semi-closed blind with a lower opening. In this way we have the first barrier or shield against the virus by preventing the airflow (drop) that contains the virus from reaching us from the front.

The outer mask (1) is provided in its lower part with hinge-shaped anchors (3). Its functionality is to be able to fold down the outer mask (1) to be able to introduce impregnable filters (4) of chemical products (antivirals).

An impregnable filter (4) with antiviral substances, where said impregnation takes place while the impregnable filter is mounted on the device itself, and it is not necessary to disassemble them in order to impregnate them.

A support and impregnation support (6) of the impregnable filters (4). This support is preferably made of high quality carbon fiber or PVC plastic designed in such a way that in the central part it allows the air to pass comfortably through a series of horizontal slots (19). Its main function is to hold the impregnable filter (4) in addition to serving as a means to impregnate the impregnable filters, counting for this with one or several tubes (7) projectors of disinfectant material towards the grooves (19), said tubes (7) being fed from lateral tanks (18). In this way, the air that passes through the filter goes through the disinfection process.

The fastening of the impregnable filter (4) is carried out by means of the outer mask (1) and the fastening and impregnation support (6) when they are housed between them, being placed in a way that prevents it from moving or falling out of the mask .

On this support and impregnation support (6) a removable transparent visor (8) can be arranged, which in one of the many possible ways is made of PVC.

A central piece (11) that serves for the union and subjection of the previous elements and the emission of disinfectant radiation, which in a preferential but not limited way is made of high quality carbon fiber or plastic, since it must support the outer mask (1) and the support for holding and impregnating the impregnable filters (4) counting for They with articulation cylinders (12) that allow the rotation or tilting of the outer mask (1) and the support for holding and impregnating the impregnable filters (4).

This central piece (11) has a central opening (20) on the perimeter of which houses radiation disinfection means, which in a possible embodiment comprises a strip of UVA-emitting LEDs, it also has a hidden hole to house a battery, for example 3V type CR2450 with its corresponding battery holder and which has a microswitch or via a wireless connection for turning it on and off.

This piece (11) also has hooks (15) that allow joining all the pieces with the encapsulation defined for the impregnable filter (4). This central piece (11) is provided with a recycling valve to allow the accumulated air to escape, being designed with a system similar to drip valves for serum or microdispenser for colony samples. The unique air outlet capacity for recycling prevents the entry of viruses and pollutants in this way.

- A flexible adapter (16) is arranged on the rear or rear face of the central piece (11), its function is to interpose itself between the face of the subject with the rigid pieces to avoid any damage to the user. - It has a flexible fastening element (17) that allows the active device (15) to be fastened to the user's head, which will be made of elastic materials. The transparent visor (8) removably mounted on the clamping and impregnation piece (6) protects the user from contagion through the ocular access route. The visor (6) is mounted on small plastic parts that allow quick fixing and disassembly, counting for this the plastic visor with lugs (9) that allow the fixing of the transparent visor, it also has a hook ( 10) which is in charge of blocking the outer mask (1) when it is folded. In order to avoid the risk of the filter falling or misaligning.
