Description

1. TITLE: A VENTILATOR SYSTEM
2. APPLICANT: a) Name: UNIVLABS TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD b) Address: 901, Block A, Floor 9, Spaze iTech Park , Gurgaon, 122018, India c) Nationality: Indian
3. PREAMBLE OF THE DESCRIPTION: The following complete specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is performed. FIELD OF INVENTION:
The present embodiment generally relates to a ventilator, and more particularly to ventilator systems to sterilise air entering and egressing the systems. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
With advancements in the lifestyle of the human beings, there has been an adverse effect on the environment. In recent decades, there has been a drastic rise in the pollution of the environment. That has severely damaged the ecosystem and the health of the living organism. Consequently, various airborne diseases such as acute breathing disorders (may be corona vims, COVID 19, and the like), lungs diseases, and the like have been spread all over the world. Patients with breathing disorders are kept on ventilators in the critical situations.
Furthermore, the conventional ventilators are equipped with air and oxygen supplies to maintain an adequate inhale volume of oxygen for the patients. However, the conventional ventilation systems have their own limitations as the outside air is directly suctioned and supplied to the patient. Additionally, the exhaled air is directly disposed in the ambient atmosphere. In either scenario, the microbes, and viruses my enter the patients or may become airborne when exhaled by the patient. This problem is compounded and gets more pronounced during pandemics, since the pandemic forces several patients to be placed in close vicinity of each other so as to afford more and more patients for treatment, and in such a scenario, the air inhaled and exhaled by the patients is infected or carries pathogens such as virus or bacteria. This limitation is usually overcome by providing sterilised air through oxygen cylinders and by letting the exhaled air be disposed outside the closed premises by elaborate plumbing. However, both are costly solutions and elaborate too. In pandemic, a shortage of oxygen cylinder is typically noted and the outside ambient air too cannot be allowed to have airborne viruses and pathogens.
In light of the foregoing, there is a need for ventilator systems that overcome such limitations.
SUMMARY:
