  • the protective equipment described can also be made largely of a mono-material, for example for the structure or carcass 2 and, once the mould for producing it has been made, it will be easy and inexpensive to reproduce while at the same time being efficient and safe.
  • the invention can be re-used with long life cycles, since in order to ensure maximum efficiency, the at least one filter 7 is simply replaced with a new one. Furthermore, the protective equipment according to the invention can be easily washed in order to guarantee maximum hygiene of the surfaces thereof.

  • the entire equipment 1, 100 if made of the materials indicated above or in any case of polymers designed to be chemically inert and resistant to temperatures up to at least 120°C, can be easily sterilized, by steam, in an autoclave, by boiling or with chemical disinfectants.
  • the structure of the carcass 2 due to its design, is also characterized by being very lightweight, an element that will make the equipment more comfortable to wear; a further strength of the equipment is its line which, although non-exclusive, is attractive in purely aesthetic terms, thus limiting or eliminating any embarrassment when wearing PPE.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un équipement de protection personnel (PPE) (1) pour la protection des voies respiratoires, comprenant un support ou une carcasse (2) ayant une partie antérieure (20) pourvue de trous d'entrée et de sortie d'air (3), un filtre remplaçable (7) et un couvercle (8) pour retenir le filtre (7) dans un siège ou un logement prévu à cet effet (6) obtenu à l'intérieur sur la partie antérieure (20) du support (2) au niveau des trous d'entrée d'air (3) ; des bandes opposées (21) s'étendant en porte-à-faux à partir de la partie antérieure (20) et présentant des ouvertures (4) pour loger les oreilles d'un utilisateur (4) et, dans la partie arrière (200), un système de réglage (5) pour adapter l'équipement (1) à des utilisateurs de différents âges, hauteurs ou avec différentes formes de visage ; le filtre (7) consistant en un matériau filtrant ayant une action purement mécanique, composé de filaments de polymère à chevauchement aléatoire entrelacés avec une structure de nodule et de fibrilles ; la carcasse (2), le filtre (7) et le couvercle (8) étant réalisés par moulage de polymères de manière à être transparents ou translucides.
