Abstract

Procédé et appareil de traitement de requêtes reposant sur une couche de planification d'E/S, dispositif et support de stockage. Selon l'invention, pour des requêtes SCSI envoyées par une couche d'application, si la taille des données à traiter correspondant aux requêtes SCSI ne dépasse pas un seuil prédéfini, les requêtes SCSI ne sont pas envoyées d'abord à une pile logicielle, mais à la couche de planification d'E/S ; et les requêtes reçues sont fusionnées au moyen de la couche de planification d'E/S puis envoyées à la pile logicielle, de telle sorte que les requêtes sont envoyées à des nœuds de serveur correspondants au moyen d'un système de routage de message. Le mode par lequel les requêtes SCSI sont traitées au moyen de la couche de planification d'E/S puis envoyées à la pile logicielle peut réduire, par fusion des requêtes, le nombre de fois où des interactions passent à travers la pile logicielle, améliorant ainsi la capacité de rendement d'un système de stockage.
