Abstract
HDMI AOC Active Optical Cables only carry the HDMI signals. HAOCXD (HDMI ACTIVE OPTICAL CABLE EXTRA DATA) is the invention to add to a regular HDMI AOC active optical cable or DP Display Port AOC Active Optical Cable, additional wires and/or fibers and/or a circuit to CONNECT ADDITIONAL CONNECTORS to the same integrated cable with the purpose to carry additional data and/or remote controls within the same HDMI AOC Cable or DP AOC cable outside the HDMI or DP standard.

ADDITIONAL CONTROLS AND/OR DATA.
DESCRIPTION
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Today’s HDMI or DP ( display port) video distribution is realized with HDMI or DP EXTENDERS boxes which carries the HDMI or DP signals plus extra data and/or remote controls
Extra data and/or remote controls are essential key in any audio video installation, integration, distribution, such as home automations, home theaters, and any other video distribution application in order to remote control or move extra additional data and signals on top of the HDMI or DP signals, out of the DP / HDMI standars.
The new DP or HDMI AOC active optical cables cannot replace these long-distance-capable “ EXTENDERS” because HDMI AOC or DP AOC cables does long-distance but does not carry any extra data nor remote controls out of their hdmi or dp connectors standards.
This HAOCXD invention ADDS TO THE HDMI AOC or DP AOC long-distance-capable cable, extra wires or fibers or circuit to connect additional electrical or fiber connectors to transport any extra data and/or remote controls.
This invention HAOCXD cable can replace the old extenders since HDMI or DP AOC cable long-distance-capable signals are added with extra DATA and/or REMOTE CONTROLS, offering major advantages respect the old hdmi extenders because the AOC video quality is totally uncompressed, full bandwidth, full speed, full specs, and the HAOCXD invention add the missing connections and connectors to the DP HDMI AOC cables.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
HAOCXD (HDMI ACTIVE OPTICAL CABLE EXTRA DATA) is the invention to add extra fibers or wires or circuit to a standard DP (display port) or HDMI AOC Active optical cable in order to transport additional extra data and/or remote controls within the same long-distance-capable DP / HDMI AOC active optical cable outside of the DP / HDMI standards.
An object of this HAOCXD invention is to create a next generation of long-distance-capable 4K 8K 10K and higher UNCOMPRESSED FULL QUALITY FULL BANDWIDTH HDMI Extenders by adding data and/or remote control capabilities to the DP / HDMI AOC cables design, making a HAOCXD integrated AOC cable capable of multiple connections / connectors which can carry extra data and/or remote controls signals extra to the DP / HDMI aoc signals.
A regular DP / HDMI AOC cable can be realized with the DP / HDMI connectors directly attached to the cable, or the DP / HDMI connectors might be part of a separated block, connecting to the main HDMI Capable AOC cable via custom inter-connectors.
DP / HDMI AOC cables only transports their DP / HDMI standards signals, no other data and/or remote controls out of the DP / HDMI standards are carried so the standard DPI HDMI AOC cables CANNOT BE USED AS DP / HDMI EXTENDERS NOR CAN REPLACE ACTUAL DP / HDMI EXTENDERS.

A typical HAOCXD CABLE is realized adding 2 data conductors plus one shield foil plus a ground wire into a standard DP/HDMI AOC cable. These 2 data conductors and ground wires can be terminated with any mechanical / electrical solution on both side of the cable in order to connect extra data and/or remote controls as needed on top of the Source / Display DP / HDMI AOC connectors connection.
In the AUDIO VISUAL APPLICATIONS, 3.5 millimeters mini jack can be used to terminate these 2 data conductors plus ground wire. The 3.5 millimeters mini jack connectors are a sort of “ industry standard” in the audio video integration world, used on all the remote controllable av receivers, matrix switchers, television sets, IR infra red remote control devices, and many other devices.
In a HOME TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION INSTALLATION EXAMPLE, having 3 5 millimeters jacks on the HAOCXD cable allows to connect typical IR infrared remote control mechanism where an IR EYE ( mini jack connector) is placed on the TV set to receive ir infrared remote controls commands from remote controls in the room, to be delivered to the other side of the DP / HDMI AOC cable to the destination av source devices.
The other side of the HAOCXD cable might also have another 3.5mm jack which can be plugged directly to an AV-RECEIVER remote control minijack port, or to an IR infrared distribution device, or to a MINIJACK KEYSTONE in the drywall box to patch the data coming from the IR EYE on the tv to any functional block with a clean elegant inter-connection on the 3.5MM keystone.
This at the same time to the SOURCE and DISPLAY DP/HDMI connectors connections carried by the same HAOCXD cable
In GAMING APPLICATIONS, a HAOCXD CABLE can add USB plus REMOTE CONTROL connectors to the DP / HDMI AOC cable to make an HAOCXD cable with DP / HDMI plus USB plus 3 5mm jack to remote control the AV receiver for the surround sound connected to the ceiling speakers, plus connect the gaming controller and/or vr headset, and of course the DP / HDMI video which can be 4K 8K 10K uncompressed up to 120 frames per second, of course all with full quality and ZERO LAG, most important for Gaming.
So the HAOCXD INVENTION TRANSFORMS A REGULAR DP / HDMI AOC active optical cable INTO A ZERO LAG LONG DISTANCE FULL QUALITY UNCOMPRESSED EXTENDER, overcoming all the limits of typical cat-x based extenders, with less power consumption and more eco-friendly.
This is anyway not limiting the possibilities to construct and wire the HAOCXD Mechanism / invention in any possible mechanical or electrical way, where the main key invention remains the fact that THERE ARE ADDITIONAL FIBERS AND/OR WIRES AND/OR CIRCUIT ADDED TO A DP / HDMI AOC ACTIVE OPTICAL CABLE TO CARRY EXTRA NON DP / HDMI AOC STANDARD DATA AND/OR REMOTE CONTROLS signals

Claims
CLAIMS:
1) HDMI OVER AOC or DP (display port) OVER AOC Active Optical Cables only transports HDMI or DP signals
No other signals are carried outside the HDMI or DP standards.
2) HAOCXD (HDMI ACTIVE OPTICAL CABLE EXTRA DATA) is the invention to add to a Standard HDMI OVER AOC or DP OVER AOC ACTIVE OPTICAL CABLE, more wires or fibers or a circuit to transport additional data and/or remote controls of any kind to each side of the HDMI or DP AOC cable, outside from the HDMI or DP standard in any AOC Active Optical Cable.
3) The Extra wires added to the HDMI OVER AOC or DP OVER AOC cable, connects additional electrical or fiber connectors to carry any extra data or remote controls, so the HAOCXD can be a MULTI-CONNECTOR HDMI OVER AOC OR DP OVER AOC cable solution.
4) The Extra Data and/or remote controls connections can be realized spilling the extra wires directly from the HDMI / DP AOC cable, or from the main dp / hdmi connectors aoc pcb circuits exiting the extra connection wires from the dp / hdmi connector shell or integrating the extra connectors on the sides of the dp / hdmi connector shell, or by using customized interconnection connectors on the main aoc cable which connects to a keystone or box or pcb or adapter which transforms the core wires and fibers of the aoc cable to the standard HDMI connectors plus the wanted additional connectors for extra data and/or remote controls such as but not limited to 3 5 millimeters mini jack to also connect remote controls such as IR Infrared extenders devices, av receivers, and any other device.
5) The type of extra connections connectors this invention can add to a standard DP / HDMI aoc active optical cable includes 3.5mm IR infrared remote controls compatible jack connections, USB2-3 connections, any other type of data together within the same DP / HDMI AOC active optical cable wire.
This invention adds data and/or remote control multiple connectors connections to a dp / hdmi aoc cable design
6) A Typical application of the Invention is to add to an HDMI OVER AOC or DP OVER AOC active optical cable, additional 3.5 millimeters electrical jack connectors, to be used in audio video and home theater installations to send commands and controls from the room where the TV is installed back to the audio video system installed in a closed or the basement, giving the end users the benefits to be able to use the long-distance-capable DP / HDMI AOC cables with superior uncompressed full bandwidth zero lag video quality ADDED WITH REMOTE CONTROLS MOST WANTED CONNECTIONS
7) Another benefit of the HAOCXD invention is to replace more complex multi-parts HDMI powered extenders over ip and cat-x in any dp / hdmi video distribution.
OLD POWERED HDMI EXTENDERS create more pollution because they requires more power, more power supplies, and requires much more parts to be installed and to operate which down the road might turn into more pollution/ trash.
OLD HDMI EXTENDERS offers long-distance HDMI connection plus serial data remote control connections, not available on long-distance DP HDMI AOC active optical regular cables.
This HAOCXD invention adds the missing serial and data and remote controls connections to the long-distance DP / HDMI AOC cables, making the HAOCXD integrated cable a perfect replacement for the OLD HDMI Extenders.
This HAOCXD Invention is also a more ECO-FRIENDLY SOLUTION because HAOCXD it is ONE INTEGRATED DP / HDMI AOC CABLE which does not require extra power, nor extra power supplies, easy to install with much less parts compared to a classic HDMI Extender over IP CAT-X, and completely replaces the old CAT-X HDMI EXTENDERS offering all the wanted data and remote controls connections on top of the way better long-distance uncompressed full-bandwidth zero lag video quality of the DP / HDMI AOC up to 4k 8k 10K 48 gigabit/s and higher uncompressed full HDR video resolutions.
8) There are no limits to how many wires or fibers can be added or how can be added to an HDMI AOC or DP AOC Active optical cable The HAOCXD is the invention to add in the same HDMI AOC or DP AOC extra wires or fibers or circuit, to carry extra data or serial or remote controls outside the HDMI or DP standard, within the same DP / HDMI AOC active optical cable.
9) HAOCXD applies also to USB-C AOC active optical cable, using the HDMI / DP video and sound signal carried by the USB-C AOC active optical cables and adding extra data and remote controls out of the HDMI / DP over usb-c standard.
