Abstract
The invention relates to the field of molecular computing devices. The essence of the invention consists in a molecular computing device that comprises a set of single-stranded nucleic acids, and for which input signals are transformed into output signals as a result of interactions between input molecules, said single-stranded nucleic acids of said set, and output molecules, characterized in that said single-stranded nucleic acids have low affinity to each other: at least 0.1% of the amount of each of them exists in free molecular form, and is not included in the complexes with other molecules. The technical effect of using the invention is in acceleration of molecular computations, expanding the range of problems to be solved (problems of Boolean algebra and elementary algebra with continuously changing values of variables), as well as in the possibility of using oligonucleotides of various lengths (less than 10 nucleotides) for performing computations.
