Abstract

The present invention relates to a system (1) for tagging users in messaging applications, then enabling users to view messagings and users who have the related tag by making a search via tags.

Description

MESSAGE TAGGING SYSTEM Technical Field
The present invention relates to a system for tagging users in messaging applications, then enabling users to view messagings and users who have the related tag by making a search via tags.
Background of the Invention
Today, in the event that contacts with whom persons text are not saved in their phonebook, they may have difficulty in remembering who are these contacts in the course of time upon the messaging. Even if the contacts are saved in the phonebook, confusions occur due to the fact that a large number of users are included particularly in group messagings. It may sometimes be necessary to read the entire conversation in order to remember the contacts involved in the messaging. Considering the studies in the state of the art, it is understood that there is need for a system which enables to make query by separating the contacts -who are involved in the messaging- into subject headings independently of whether they are saved in the phonebook and associating them with the tags determined by the user and then through the use of these tags, and to remember the related chat/contact easily.
The European patent document no. EP2632132, an application in the state of the art, discloses generally mobile communication devices and more particularly tagging message content by using mobile communication devices. In the said system, users of the mobile communication devices may manually tag content while communicating with third parties in near real-time chat sessions such as instant message sessions. To this end, users may manually tag selected portions of the instant message content by navigating to desired positions within the message content and, for example, actuating one or more keys of the keyboard on the mobile communication device. According to one example, users may manually tag a character, a word, a sentence, a digital image, or other data elements within the message content. Once tagged, users subsequently may actuate a data entry device to navigate to the desired message content associated with the tag. Data entry devices may include a keyboard, a navigation tool, a voice-command receiving tool, or the like.
Summary of the Invention
An objective of the present invention is to realize a system for tagging users of messaging applications by user suggestions and then ensuring that the tagged messages are viewed by the user when a search is made by the related tag.
Detailed Description of the Invention
“Message Tagging System” realized to fulfil the objective of the present invention is shown in the figure attached, in which:
Figure l is a schematic view of the inventive system.
The components illustrated in the figure are individually numbered, where the numbers refer to the following:
1. System
2. Electronic device
3. Mobile application
4. Tag server
5. Database The inventive system (1) for tagging users in messaging applications, then enabling users to view messagings and users who have the related tag by making a search via tags comprises: at least one electronic device (2) which is configured to run at least one application on it; at least one mobile application (3) which runs on the electronic device (2), and is configured to enable users to text and to choose tag for the contacts with whom they text and the messages; at least one tag server (4) which is configured to assign the related tag to the related messaging/user by receiving the tags determined by the user over the mobile application (3); at least one database (5) which is configured to contain the tag information that is assigned by the tag server (4), within itself and to reply to the tag queries made on the mobile application (3).
The electronic device (2) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to run at least one application on it. The electronic device (2) is a device such as mobile phone, tablet.
The mobile application (3) included in the inventive system (1) runs on the electronic device (2), and it is configured to enable users to text each other. The mobile application (3) is configured to enable a user to choose the chat that s/he wants to tag. The mobile application (3) is configured to enable a user to view the lists comprising the existing tags.
The tag server (4) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to create the tag lists viewed by the user on the mobile application (3). The tag server (4) is configured to associate the tag information chosen by the user, with the related chat and/or contact. The tag server (4) is configured to provide the user with an interface enabling the user to create a new tag over the mobile application (3) in the event that s/he wants to use a tag not included in the lists. The tag server (4) is configured to enable the user to carry out a query with the related tag over the mobile application (3), in the event that the user wants to access the chats/contacts associated with a tag previously. The tag server (4) is configured to transmit the related suggestion to the user over the mobile application (3) by analysing the contents of the messagings that occur on the mobile application (3), creating the tag suggestions about the chats/contacts that are not tagged yet
The database (5) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to contain the tag information that are assigned to the chats/contacts by the tag server (4), within itself. The database (5) is configured to transmit the chats/contacts wherein the tag queries of the user carried out over the mobile application (3) are contained within itself and that are associated with the related tag, to the mobile application (3) so as to be viewed.
In the inventive system (1), the user chooses any chat over the mobile application (3) -that runs on the electronic device (2) and is a messaging application- to tag at first. In the meantime, the tag server (4) transmits the tag lists stored in the database (5). Upon choosing one of the tags and/or defining a new tag over the mobile application (3), the user links the related chat to the said tag. The tag server (4) updates the lists stored in the database (5), and tagged chats. The tag server (4) suggests the related tag to the user by analysing the contents of the untagged chats and determining the optimum tag for that chat from the tag lists.
Within these basic concepts; it is possible to develop various embodiments of the inventive system (1); the invention cannot be limited to examples disclosed herein and it is essentially according to claims.
