Abstract

Um ein Flächenmaterial bereitzustellen, welches möglichst stabil ist und sich möglichst einfach herstellen lässt, wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Flächenmaterial ein thermoplastisches Polymermatrixmaterial umfasst, in welchem ein Fasermaterial aufgenommen ist, wobei das Fasermaterial Fasern umfasst oder aus Fasern gebildet ist, welche zumindest näherungsweise parallel zueinander angeordnet sind, und wobei ein Anteil des Fasermaterials an dem Flächen- material bei ca. 75 Gew.-% oder mehr liegt, bezogen auf eine Gesamtmasse des Flächenmaterials.
