Abstract

The designed device is a portable solar desk lamp comprising of sunlight storage panels that can be rotated towards the sunlight and a battery that receives power supply from sunlight in addition to the power received by absorbing the light of the lamp. The study lamp can be recharged by the solar panels. Components of this device include a cap, four aluminum plates, four solar panels, lamp, socket, rechargeable battery, dimmer switch, battery charge display, weight, cap, stand, and two arms. The four aluminum plates which are trapezium in shape also uses the lamplight, by converting the light of the lamp into electricity. The advantage of using this device includes saving energy and not polluting the environment. Due to the fact that this device is wireless, it has the capability to be used in places that do not have access to electricity or used outside of the city. It is also capable of being connected to municipal electricity.

This appliance consists of the following parts: four solar plate warheads, four metal plates led lamp, battery charger, battery charger display, manual dimmer switch, socket, stand and weights, four solar panels are mounted on four metal plates. Solar panels are crystalline and those can rotate 90 degrees and face in front of the sun.
Panel dimensions of each solar panel is 20mm×70mm×115mm. Each solar panel has 12 cells, which its 6 cells of it 30mm×30mm and its 6 cells of it is 20mm×30mm. Weight per page 210 g and their maximum production capacity is 1.6 watt. The voltage of each plate is 4 volts. Material of four metal plates is aluminium and it is in the form of a trapezoidal isosceles. The smaller rule of this trapezoid is 8cm and larger rule 15cm, its height is 12cm and the size of two legs is 12.5cm. The battery of this desk lamp is chargeable and lithium, its dimension is 8cm×8cm×1cm. This battery is powered by solar panels. The battery is detachable from the desk lamp and it can be used to charge a cell phone battery. The lamp of desk lamp is LED, it has a voltage of 4 volts and a power consumption of 5 watts.
The battery charging indicative is located on the outside of the cap body. Indicative shows the battery charge and charge. The key is on the cap; this key is a manual dimmer. The light of the lamp increase or decrease by rotating the dimmer volume. The stand height of the desk lamp is 44cm. This stand is attached to the cap by the arm. The stand of the desk light consists of two parts. The length of these two parts are 20cm and 24cm respectively, which are connected to each other via arm. The stand material is aluminum. The weight is attached to the stand of the desk lamp and it is for keeping of desk lamp balance. Its length and width is 18cm and 14cm its height 4cm. Mass of Weights is 1kg.
The desk lamp is made up of a cap, a stand and a weight. The cap consists of three parts A, B and C. A) rechargeable battery location, B) Key location and LED lamp socket, C) aluminum plates that solar panel mounted on it from inside the cap. The C plates have a 90 degrees’ rotation on the border with the B plates. Solar panels mounted on C plates from inside the cap. The function of this device is in such a way that desk lamp cap is rotated by the arm towards sunlight. Then the C plates open with 90-degree rotation. Solar panels convert sunlight into electrical energy and store it in a rechargeable battery.
When the battery is charged, C plates are rotated again with a 90-degree rotation and the cap of desk lamp is lowered to the paper plate or desk via arm. LED lamp turns on via switch. Electrical energy of lamp is supplied by chargeable battery. The LED lamp light in this desk lamp is in the sunlight range (CRI>90). It is then absorbed by the solar panels and converted into electricity. As a result of the solar panels in this desk lamp are inside the desk lamp cap. The LED lamp light shines on them and again it turns into electrical energy. This electrical energy is stored in the rechargeable battery. That is, when the lamp is lit in the desk lamp, when its battery is used, this battery is constantly charged by solar plates; therefore, the light of this desk lamp can be used for a longer period of time.
The rechargeable battery is separable from the desk lamp and it can be used to charge a cell phone. A Battery charger indicative is located on the desk lamp cap and shows battery charging and charging. Power of this indicative is provided by this charging battery. The LED lamp is turned on and off by a dimmer key that is light adjustable. It means that can be increase or decrease the lamp light via rotating the dimmer volume, advantages of using solar desk lamps such as converting lamp light to electricity, lighting lamp with solar energy, usable for a long time, capable of cell phone battery charging, adjustable light, economical for a long time, eco-friendly, LED lamp used in this desk lamp has several features such as, The maximum color appearance of index value can be 100%, which is equivalent of sunlight.
The LED used in this desk lamp has a color appearance index of more than 95% (CRI>95). Since the light of this lamp is similar to sunlight, its light is absorbed by the solar plates and converts to electrical energy. Resistive (manual) dimmer key used in this desk lamp performs task of adjusting the angle of the fire Triac via resistors and potentiometers. The lamp light increase or decrease via dimmer volume rotation.
The battery of this device is fully charged through the sunlight and requires no electricity.
Solar plates rotate towards the sunlight through the embedded arm; then the plates open with 90-degree rotation.
When using the desk lamp, and power consumption, the battery is recharged by saving the light lamp on the solar plates.
No environmental pollution.
Its battery can be used to charge a mobile phone.
It is economical for a long time.

This device applies in homes and offices, due to fact that this device need no electricity resource, can be used in out-of-towns environments and areas without electricity grid.
This device is highly convenient and practical in areas where access to electricity is difficult. For example, in the wilderness, hiking, picnic, travel and this can be used as a desk lamp.

Claims (12)

  1. Solar desk lamp by converting lamp light to electricity in addition to storing sunlight on solar plates, it is capable of converting light bulbs into electrical energy.
  2. According to claim1, the components of this device are: one cap, four aluminum plates, four solar plates, lamp, socket, rechargeable battery, dimmer switch, battery charge indicative, weight, cap, stand and two arms. The power of the study light is 4.6 watt and its voltage is 4 volts.
  3. According to claim2, four aluminum plates used in trapezoidal solar desk lamp, by converting the light of the lamp into electricity, which has two rules 8cm and 15cm and its height is 12cm, the size of its two stems is 5.12cm.
  4. According to claim 3, the four solar panels used in this design are mounted on aluminum plates from the inside of the desk lamp cap. The dimensions of solar plates are 20mm×70mm×115mm and their genus is crystal. These plates have 12cells, which 6cells are 30mm×30mm and 6cells are 20mm×30mm.
  5. According to claim 2,3 and 4, the cap of this desk lamp is rotated towards the sunlight through the embedded arm, then the plates open with 90-degree rotation.
  6. According to claim2 and 4, the lamp used in this solar desk lamp is LED, its power is 5 watts and its voltage is 4volt.
  7. According to claim1, 2 and 6 because LED color appearance index is 95%, its shining light is convert to electricity again by solar plates and store at battery.
  8. According to claim2and 6, the socket, which have been used in this solar desk lamp by converting light lamp to electricity to connect the LED lamp to it.
  9. According to claim2, 3 and 4, the rechargeable battery used in solar desk lamp is lithium. It works by converting the radiancy light lamp into electricity, this battery charges via solar plates. The battery can be detached from the desk lamp.
  10. According to claim 1 and 2, the weight used in this device is for keeping balance of desk lamp. Its length and width 18cm and 14cm and its height is 4 cm. weight mass is 1kg.
  11. According to claim2 and 10, the stand used in this device forms of two parts in size of 20cm and 24cm, which connected to each other via one arm.
  12. According to claim2, the LED lamp turns on and off by a dimmer switch, which is capable of adjusting light.
