Abstract

Multi-use jacket, consisting of a jacket (1) per se with: attached hood (2); sleeves (3) and respective wrist adjustment (4); side pockets (5); a front opening (6) with respective closure (7); two attachment closures, at different heights, namely an upper (8) and a lower (9) attachment closure, in which the first circumscribes the region of the jacket (1) below the shoulder line and under the start of the sleeves (3), while the second extends along the entire lower edge of the jacket (1), from one side of the front opening (6) to the opposite side thereof; a blanket (10) being attached to said closures that can be combined with the jacket (1) in different ways, converting the assembly into a overcoat or sleeping bag and, since the blanket (10) is a detachable part, said blanket can be used as a poncho or towel.

Description

MULTI PURPOSE JACKET

Field of Invention.

[01] More particularly, the present invention refers to a garment in the form of a jacket, which adds several constructive details and a detachable complement in the form of a blanket. The latter can be attached to the jacket in different ways, giving the set different functionalities. Consequently, we can consider that the jacket in question is of the hybrid type, since its detachable part in the form of a blanket combines with the jacket and, thus, depending on how such coupling is carried out, allows the set to be transformed into coat (overcoat) or in a sleeping bag, in addition to being used as a raincoat, depending on the material of its manufacture.

[02] Furthermore, the detachable part has different functions when used separately from the jacket. Can be used as: (I) poncho; (II) blanket itself, (III) serves as a picnic towel, beach mat or used in similar situations and, finally, (IV) as a pillow when folded.

State of the art.

[03] Currently, there is a considerable range of multifunctional clothing, both for adults and children. Some are converted into pouches and others add add-ons to provide a means to fully cover the user's body, such as demonstrate the documents: CA2774855, CA2874644, FR2397799, US4158892, US4532654, US4575876, US5560043, US20100031413,

US20120260394, US20120311764 and WO2014076331.

[04] CA2774855 is a garment that converts into a sleeping bag to insulate the wearer from environmental elements. The outfit comprises a hooded jacket with two side portions covering the wearer's chest, a back portion covering the wearer's back, two arm portions and a hood. A lower bag attaches detachably to the bottom of the jacket and folds up to lie flat against the inside of the jacket's back and hood. This bottom bag is a contoured recess to fit the shape of a lower part of the human body and has two foot-shaped recesses at the bottom. The sleeves also have gussets that extend from the wrist straps to expand when deployed. The upper securing zippers on the sleeves allow the tubular leg bag to be secured to the zipper fasteners at the lower edge of the extendable waist portion to form the sleeping bag.

[06] FR2397799 is a quilted garment with a padding material. The back of the piece and the front parts are tubular and divided. Each front part is closed at the bottom edge, but communicates through the top edge with the inside of the back, whose lower edge is open. The sleeves are detachable in the armholes by means of slide-closure fasteners. Likewise, each side edge of the front is detachably connected to the corresponding side edge of the rear. By removing the jacket sleeves and separating the front at the back of the sides, a sleeping bag is formed where the back provides the body part, and the front parts become separate leg compartments for the wearer.

[07] US4158892 is A sleeping bag convertible into different clothes, and which includes front and rear panels that can be zipped together in variable ways and the device additionally including a pair of gaiters, a pair of gloves and a belt.

[08] US4532654 is a convertible jacket with an extendable lining to completely enclose the wearer's legs in extreme cold conditions. The outfit comprises a hooded jacket with two side portions covering the wearer's chest, a back portion covering the wearer's back, two arm portions and a hood. The protective flap may optionally include at least one accessory pocket, and the garment may include retaining straps to secure an accessory against the garment.

[14] WO2014076331 is a piece of clothing that is convertible into a sleeping bag, said piece being a jacket with a conventional hood that can be packaged, comprising a part that can be opened in the shape of a bag and has two possible positions : Folded at the top of the jacket and opened to form an extension of the bottom of the jacket. Its shape being designed to receive the user's legs and feet. The bag part is attached to the shirt at the edge lower part of its rear part and a front portion comprising closing means is provided at the upper part. In the folded position it is arranged upside down against the back of the shirt and the distal end can be used as a hood.

[15] There is no doubt that the known multifunctional garments offer ways for a garment in the form of a blouse, jacket or shirt to be coupled with a complementary garment and transform the set in a way that is combined with said nightwear and a sleeping bag, however, in most known cases, the sets have really complex industrial feasibility and, in most cases, the complement that gives additional functions to the set are pieces added to the basic garment. It is observed, then, that they present undesirable volume characteristics, negatively interfering with the use of the garment when not configured as a sleeping bag.

Objectives of the Invention.

[16] The first objective of the invention is the realization of a garment in the form of a jacket, which can be combined, coupled or uncoupled, with a complementary piece in the form of a blanket, completely independent of the first and both utilitarian individually or together. The coupling and uncoupling of said mat can be carried out in different ways, attributing different functionalities to the set. Consequently, we can consider that the jacket in question is of the hybrid, as its detachable blanket-shaped part combines so that the set can be transformed into a coat (above all) or a sleeping bag.

[17] Another objective of the invention is to allow the detachable part to maintain the characteristic of a blanket, which gives it different functions when used separately from the jacket. Can be used as: poncho; blanket itself and, in this case, also serving as a picnic towel, beach mat or used in similar situations; in addition to being used as a pillow when folded.

[18] Furthermore, only by varying the materials used to manufacture the set, especially the fillings, as well as waterproof and permeable fabrics, the same set can be sized and manufactured to meet different climatic situations, that is, suitable for winter and, within this concept, also meet different temperatures, especially mid-season and winter or extremely low temperatures.

[19] For a better understanding of the present invention, a detailed description is given below with reference to the attached drawings:

FIGURE 01 represents an anterosuperior perspective showing a jacket modified in accordance with the present invention;

FIGURE 02 shows a posterior angle perspective showing the modified jacket;

FIGURE 03 illustrates a schematic perspective the blanket that is a detachable component and that complements the modified jacket, making it multifunctional;

FIGURE 04 are schematic perspectives showing the jacket attached to the blanket, transforming the set into a coat or overcoat;

FIGURE 05 show schematic perspectives similar to the previous figure, however, in this case, the blanket is attached to another point of the modified jacket, highlighting the fact that depending on the attachment, the resulting jacket may have a longer length;

FIGURE 06 represents schematic perspectives of the blanket only, highlighting the wrappings, which can be embedded or exposed to configure the part surrounding the user's feet, when used as a sleeping bag, or the pocket that allows transforming the blanket into a pillow;

FIGURE 07 is a schematic perspective showing the set transformed into a sleeping bag;

FIGURE 08 are schematic perspectives showing the transformation of the blanket into a pillow; and the

FIGURE 09 represents a schematic perspective showing the use of the blanket as a poncho. Use can be done independently of the modified jacket, not limited to it.

Detailed description of the invention.

[20] According to these illustrations and their details, more particularly figures 1 and 2, the present invention, MULTIPURPOSE JACKET, is characterized by the fact that it comprises: - a jacket (1) with attached hood (2), sleeves (3) and respective cuff adjustment (4), side pockets (5), an opening in the front (6) with respective zip (7), two coupling clasps for the blanket at different heights, one upper (8) and one lower (9), the first circumscribing the region of the jacket (1) below the shoulder line and under the beginning of the sleeves (3), while the second it develops along the entire lower edge of the jacket (1), starting from one side of the front opening (6) to its opposite side;

- a blanket (10), rectangular, shown in Figure 3, where it can be seen that its longer upper horizontal edge and its shorter vertical or lateral edges have, respectively, upper coupling clasp (11) and side clasps of coupling (12);

- transformation of the jacket (1), see figures 4 and 5, respectively, into a long coat and a super long coat. In the first, the upper coupling clasp (11) of the blanket (10) is connected to the upper coupling clasp (8) of the jacket (1), while in the second the upper coupling clasp (11) of the blanket (10) is connected in the lower coupling clasp (9) of the jacket (1), consequently, we have the result that transforms the jacket (1) into two coats like overcoats; and a sleeping bag when:

- a lower opening (13), see figure 6, is formed on the lower edge of the blanket (10), occupying something 1/3 of its length, this opening with the respective closure (14), which closes, opens, exposes and it embeds a first casing (15) which, in addition to having an upper open side coincident with the opening (13), is also combined with a second smaller casing (16), whose open side is also facing upwards.

[21] As shown in Figure 7, the set comprises a sleeping bag that completely encloses the user's legs. This bag is defined by the blanket (10) when it is coupled to the jacket (1) through the respective lower (9) or upper (11) coupling clasps, as well as when said blanket is in a tubular position closed by the coupling clasp ( 12).

[22] It also comprises an enclosing part with buttons (17), (see fig. 7), to protect the user's feet defined by the first envelope (15) when the blanket (10) is tubularly closed and coupled to the jacket (1) .

[23] As shown in Figure 8, the set also comprises a pocket to store the blanket (10), a pocket formed by the second smaller envelope (16) and, for this purpose, said blanket is folded and rolled up to the interior of said second smaller casing (16).

[24] The set also comprises a pillow that is formed after the blanket (10) has been arranged inside the second smaller envelope (16).

[25] The set also comprises, as shown in figure 9, a poncho that, in turn, is configured by the blanket (10) and, in this case, it is placed on the user's shoulders, providing a closure complementary (18).

[26] The blanket (9), being a detachable piece, has the its use extends beyond the above considerations, as it can serve as a towel or the like during a picnic or simply as a towel to sit and rest during an event such as music festivals, eg or as a blanket during a long wait that may occur during a trip. .

[27] In a preferred construction, the coupling fasteners (8), (9), (11) and (12) are preferably of the sliding type, however, other modes of couplings may be used, such as: sticky fasteners, fasteners mechanical, mainly pressure and buttons entering a hole or loop type opening.

[28] In a preferred construction, said blanket (10) is double-layered, with or without filling, so that between them can be embedded the casings (15) and (16).

[29] Logically, all known resources of fabrics and fillings, as well as distinct design styles, can be used to make the set in question, adapting the set according to the best known preferences, further enriching the qualities of this jacket multipurpose, as many confection resources can be adopted, adding complementary features to the set, such as, for example, the use of a type of outer fabric and another different one on the inner side (lining), consequently, varying such layers , we may have a garment with two sides for use or with different characteristics, such as for rain or not, that is, waterproof on one side and permeable on the side opposite .

[30] It will be understood that certain characteristics and combinations of materials and dimensions in the making of this MULTI-PURPOSE JACKET may vary considerably, maintaining the same functional concept for the set, therefore, it is noted that the construction described in detail in the title of example is clearly subject to constructive variations, however, always within the scope of the inventive concept now revealed of a MULTI-PURPOSE JACKET and as many modifications can be made in the configuration now detailed in accordance with the descriptive requirements of the law, it is understood that the present details should be interpreted as illustrative rather than limiting.

Claims

1) MULTIPURPOSE JACKET, characterized by comprising:

- a jacket (1) with an attached hood

(2), sleeves (3) and respective cuff adjustment (4), side pockets (5), an opening in the front (6) with respective zip (7), two coupling clasps for the blanket at different heights, one upper (8) and a lower (9), the first circumscribing the region of the jacket (1) below the shoulder line and under the beginning of the sleeves

(3), while the second runs along the entire lower edge of the jacket (1), starting from one side of the front opening (6) to its opposite side;

- a mat (10), rectangular, where its longer upper horizontal edge and its shorter vertical or lateral edges have, respectively, upper coupling closure (11) and coupling side closures (12);

- transformation of the jacket (1) into a long coat and a super long coat, in which in the first one the upper coupling clasp (11) of the blanket (10) is connected to the upper coupling clasp (8) of the jacket (1), while in the second, the upper coupling clasp (11) of the blanket (10) is connected to the lower coupling clasp (9) of the jacket (1); and

- a lower opening (13) formed in the lower edge of the mat (10), occupying something 1/3 of its length, as said opening also includes its respective closure (14), which closes, opens, exposes and embeds a first casing (15) which, in addition to having a The upper open side coincident with the opening (13) also combines with a second smaller casing (16), whose open side is also facing upwards.

2) MULTI-PURPOSE JACKET, according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a sleeping bag defined by the blanket (10) when it is coupled to the jacket (1) through the lower coupling clasp (9) of the jacket (1) and of the upper closure (11) of the mat (10), as well as when said mat is in a tubular position closed by the coupling closure (12).

3) MULTI-PURPOSE JACKET, according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises an enclosing part with buttons (17) for the feet, defined by the first casing (15) when the blanket (10) is tubularly closed and coupled to the jacket (1) .

4) MULTI-PURPOSE JACKET, according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a pocket to embed the blanket (10), which pocket is formed by the second smaller envelope (16) and, for this purpose, said blanket is folded and rolled up to the interior of the said second smaller casing (16).

5) MULTIPURPOSE JACKET, according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a pillow that is formed after the blanket (10) has been arranged inside the second smaller envelope (16).

6) MULTI-PURPOSE JACKET, according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a poncho that, in turn, is configured by the blanket (10) and, in this case, it is arranged on the user's shoulders, providing for a complementary closure. (18). 7) MULTIPURPOSE JACKET, according to claim 1, characterized in that the blanket (9) is a detachable piece and, in this case, configures a towel for various purposes.

8) MULTI-PURPOSE JACKET, according to claim 1, characterized in that, in a preferred construction, the coupling clasps (8), (9), (11) and (12) are of the sliding type.

9) MULTI-PURPOSE JACKET, according to claim 1, characterized in that, in a preferred construction, said blanket (10) is of double layer, with or without filling, so that the casings can be embedded between them ( 15) and (16).
