Abstract

The invention relates to a method for the environmental remediation of land saturated with petroleum products, which comprises the following steps: (a) injecting steam; (b) injecting ozone; and (c) washing with hot water, wherein the first and second steps may be carried out separately or in combination, according to the degree of contamination.
