The invention relates to a method for enabling a user to send an electronic copy of a physical document to an online service by means of a portable telecommunications terminal incorporating an image capture device, as well as an application. and an architecture comprising means suitable for implementing such a method.

It applies in particular to online services of administrative and / or legal bodies, for example a social security service (ameli.fr), tax payment (impots.gouv.fr), or management of secure securities. (ants.gouv.fr), but also to the online services of private organizations, in particular banks, insurance companies, and telecommunications operators.

With the development of the Internet, many organizations have developed electronic platforms to provide their users with an online service to which they can subscribe by creating a personal space, to which they can then connect by means of a terminal, in particular a desktop (PC, for English "Personal Computer") or laptop, in order to be able to carry out their administrative procedures remotely.

These online services generally offer their users to download in their personal space digital copies of the physical documents necessary for the management of their files, for example a copy of identity card, driver's license, bank identity statement. (RIB) or proof of address.

To do this, users must make an electronic copy of the document to be communicated by means of a suitable device, for example a scanner and / or a printer, then manually download said copy. electronic to their personal space from a storage space on which the said device recorded it, for example a hard disk of a desktop computer, or a portable medium such as a USB key (for English "Universal Serial Bus ").

This solution is not entirely satisfactory, in that it requires several manual operations on the part of the user, which, in addition to being tedious, increases the risk of errors, in particular in the selection of the electronic copy. To download.

In addition, the devices used to make electronic copies, in addition to being expensive and cumbersome, can be difficult to set up. Because of this, users often keep the default setting, so that the device saves electronic copies to a default storage space on the desktop computer, making the copies difficult for an unfamiliar user to retrieve. to use the computer tool.

The invention aims to improve the prior art by proposing in particular a method for allowing a user to easily send electronic copies of his documents to an online service, without having to use expensive and / or difficult to access devices. parameterize.

To this end, according to a first aspect, the invention proposes a method for allowing a user to send an electronic copy of a physical document to an online service by means of a portable telecommunications terminal incorporating a capture device. images, said method providing:

- the communication by the user of a coordinate making it possible to establish a telecommunication with said portable terminal;

sending to said portable terminal a message comprising an interactive link by means of said coordinate; said method further providing, after activation of said interactive link by the user: the display on the portable terminal of a page which includes an interactive link to enable the capture of an image of the physical document by means of the capture device of said portable terminal;

- sending said captured image to the online service as an electronic copy of said physical document.

According to a second aspect, the invention proposes an application for allowing a user to send an electronic copy of a physical document to an online service by means of a portable telecommunications terminal incorporating an image capture device, said application comprising:

In the description, the term "portable terminal" applies in particular to terminals which, in particular to facilitate their transport by the user, have small dimensions, in particular at the level of their display screen.

Furthermore, the portable terminal 3 incorporates an image capture device, in particular in the form of a camera or a camera. Such a terminal portable 4 can for example be a so-called “smart” portable telephone (for the English “smartphone”), or even a touchscreen tablet.

The physical document can in particular be in the form of a paper document, a plastic and / or cardboard card, and can be for example an identity card, a driving license, a bank identity statement ( RIB) or proof of address.

In FIG. 2, the architecture comprises a server 5 for providing an online service 2. The user 1 interacts with the service 2 by means of a browser 6, for example a web browser such as Google Chrome®, Internet Explorer® or Firefox®, said browser being installed on a terminal 7 which is connected to the server 5 via a computer network, for example the Internet.

The browser 6 is designed to display on the terminal 7 an interactive page of the online service 2, said page having interactive links to allow said user to connect to his personal space on said online service.

In the embodiment shown, user 1 connects to service 2 through a terminal 7 other than his portable terminal 3, for example a desktop or laptop computer. As a variant, user 1 can connect to service 2 directly through his portable terminal 3, in particular by means of a browser installed on said portable terminal.

The method provides for the communication by the user 1 of a coordinate making it possible to establish a telecommunication with the portable terminal 3. The coordinate may for example comprise a telephone number linked to the portable terminal 3, in particular when said portable terminal is a telephone. .

To do this, the server 5 comprises means for allowing the user 1 to communicate such a coordinate. These means can be adapted to display, on the interactive page of service 2, a field that user 1 must fill in with this coordinate, as well as an interactive button that user 1 must activate to communicate said coordinate entered in said field.

Once user 1 has entered the required coordinate, the browser 6 sends the service 2 a notification 8 including said coordinate. To do this, the browser 6 can establish with the server 5 a secure connection link, in particular according to the computer protocol HTTPS (for English "Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure").

The server 5 then transmits the coordinate to the application 4, said application comprising means for receiving said coordinate. In particular, the server 5 sends a message 9 comprising the coordinate communicated by the user 1 and security data, the application 4 comprising means for receiving said message and extracting therefrom said coordinate and said security data.

In the embodiment shown, the architecture comprises a second server 10 separate from the server 5, in which the application 4 is located. As a variant, the architecture 4 can be implemented in the same server 5 as the online service 2.

To allow in particular the sending of the message 9, the server 5 providing the online service 2 can establish with the server 10 providing the application 4 a connection link according to the REST computer protocol (for the English "REpresentational State Transfer ”).

The method then provides for the sending to the portable terminal 3, by means of the coordinate communicated by the user, of a message 11 comprising an interactive link for pairing said portable terminal with the application 4. To do this, the application 4 comprises means for sending such a message 11, for example a programming interface 12 (API, for English "Application Programming Interface) installed in the server 10. In particular, the sending means 12 are suitable for sending a pairing message 11 in a format suitable for mobile telephony, in particular of the SMS (for English "Short Message Service") or MMS (for English) type. "Multimedia Message Service").

In relation to FIG. 1, the application 4 comprises means for, after reception of the message 9, launching a procedure 13 to record the security data and generate a connection token (for English "token") to allow its. pairing with the portable terminal 3, said token then being sent to said portable terminal by means of message 11.

In parallel with sending the message 11, the application 4 establishes a bidirectional link 14 with the browser 6, in order to channel any subsequent communication with said browser. In particular, the link 14 can be established by means of a Websocket® type API interface.

After having received the message 11 on his portable terminal 3, user 1 activates the interactive link contained in said message, in order to pair said portable terminal with the application 4. To do this, user 1 can display the content. message 11 on the touch screen of his portable terminal 3, then press digit 15 on the interactive link displayed on said touch screen.

After activation of the interactive link, the portable terminal 3 analyzes the message 11 to retrieve a digital address of the application 4, for example a URL address (for the English “Uniform Resource Locator”), then uses said address to send to it. application 4 a notification 16 of confirmation of pairing, for example according to the HTTPS protocol or the REST protocol.

Then, the application 4 establishes a bidirectional link 17 with the portable terminal 3, for example by means of Websocket® technology, in order to finalize the pairing and to channel all subsequent communications with said portable terminal. To do this, as shown in Figure 1, the application 4 successively performs:

a procedure 18 for validating the connection token communicated to the portable terminal 3;

a procedure 19 for creating a connection session with said portable terminal, in particular with the security data communicated by the server 5.

In particular, the bidirectional links 14, 17 established by the application 4 allow the browsers of the terminals 3, 7 to synchronize. Thus, the interactive page of the online service 2 displays content corresponding to the operations currently carried out on the portable terminal 3.

Once the pairing has been completed, the method provides for the display on the portable terminal 3 of a page which includes an interactive link to enable the capture of an image of the physical document by means of the capture device of said portable terminal. To do this, the application 4 includes means for producing such a display.

In relation to the figures, the application 4 sends to the portable terminal 3, in particular via the link 17, a message 20 containing information to allow the display of the image capture page, said portable terminal using this information to launch a procedure 21 for displaying said page on its screen.

The portable terminal 3 then sends the application 4 a notification 22 of connection to the image capture page, and the application 4 launches a procedure

23 to destroy the connection information of said terminal. At the same time, the application 4 sends the browser 6, in particular via link 14, a notification

24 to signal the connection of the portable terminal 3 to the image capture page. Advantageously, the activation of the interactive link displayed in the image capture page makes it possible to take direct control of the capture device integrated into the portable terminal 3, and thus to capture an image by means of said device without having to launch an image. dedicated application on said portable terminal. This solution therefore turns out to be particularly intuitive for user 1, in that it allows him to make electronic copies of his physical documents with a reduced number of computer operations.

In order to capture an image, user 1 can in particular perform a digital pressure 25 on the interactive link displayed on the touch screen of his portable terminal 3.

The image capture page may also include an interactive link to allow User 1 to capture multiple images of a physical document, including the front and back sides of said physical document.

The method then includes sending the captured image to the online service 2 as an electronic copy of the physical document. To do this, the application 4 includes means to allow such sending.

To facilitate the process for the user 1, the method can provide, after capturing an image of the physical document, to display on the portable terminal 3 a page which includes an interactive link to allow the sending of said captured image. to online service 2.

To do this, the application 4 includes suitable means for producing such a display, in particular by exchanging suitable messages with the portable terminal 3 via the link 17.

The method can provide for displaying the sending page directly after the activation of the interactive image capture link. As a variant, the method may provide for displaying on the image capture page an interactive link suitable for launching the display of the sending page, for example in the form of a “NEXT” button. or "SEND". Thus, the user 1 can in particular capture several images of the same physical document and send them to the online service 2 in a single operation.

The sending page may include:

- a display area of the captured image, to allow user 1 to check it before sending it;

- an interactive link for sending the captured image, for example in the form of a "YES" or "SEND" button;

- an interactive link to return to the image capture page, in particular to capture a new image instead of the current image, for example in the form of a "NO" or "START AGAIN" button.

To send the image, user 1 digitally presses 26 on the dedicated link displayed on the touch screen of his portable terminal 3. Then, the portable terminal 3 sends the application 4 a message 27 comprising the image. captured, especially via link 17.

To communicate the captured image to the online service 2, the method can provide:

- save the image sent by the portable terminal 3 in a temporary storage space;

- to send to online service 2 a link to allow said online service to retrieve said image in said temporary storage space.

To do this, the application 4 includes a temporary storage space, in particular located in the server 10, as well as:

- means for recording in this space the image sent in the message 27; and

means for sending to the online service 2 a link to allow the recovery of said image in said space. The method may include removing the image from the temporary storage space after it is retrieved by the online service 2, thereby ensuring user 1 the confidentiality of their physical documents.
