After decades of development, anti-theft tags have been developed into various types of article anti-theft devices, which are easy to use, good in anti-theft effect, optically appealing and durable. They are suitable for anti-theft needs in different types of places such as department stores, supermarkets, specialty stores and li- braries. However, there is currently a lack of a type of banding anti-theft tags to be applied to a box product with a handle (such as a power toolbox); therefore, fur ther improvements are needed.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The overall objective of the disclosure is to improve the state of the art regarding anti-theft devices. Favorably disadvantages of the state of the art are reduced or eliminated. Further favorably, an anti-theft device is provided that banding tag can be used for a box product with a handle and is further favorably of convenient use and should have a good anti-theft effect.
The overall objective is achieved by a retractable banding tag, having a banding tag with the following characteristics: The tag comprises a base, a band fixed on the base, a lock cylinder structure set in the base, a circuit board with a socket, to which socket a sensor cable can be connected, an alarm and a battery
The band has a one-way rack with a wire set in the band. The fixed end of the band extends from the both ends of the wire. That is, both ends of the wire extend from a fixed end of the band along the band and form a circuit in connection with the circuit board (The wire forms a circuit in connection with the circuit board).
The base of the retractable banding tag includes a jack. A movable end of the band is configured to pass through the jack. The base further includes a slide rail for mounting the lock cylinder structure and connecting the jack which is arranged in the base. The lock cylinder structure in the base includes a cylinder and a spring. The cylinder can slide along the slide rail and the spring is configured to pushes the cylinder. A front end of the cylinder including a latch which is matched with the one-way rack.
The base has a jack for the movable end of the band to pass through it. Within the base, there is a slide rail for mounting the lock cylinder and connecting the jack. The lock cylinder structure comprises a cylinder that can slide along the slide rail and a spring that pushes the cylinder. The front end of the cylinder has a latch matched with the one-way rack.
In an embodiment the fixed end of the band has a plug, wherein a pin on the plug is connected with the wire The plug is set in the base and the movable end of the band extends from the clamp hole on the top surface of the base.
In an embodiment, the said band is a flexible, durable, bendable plastic band.
In an embodiment the circuit board has a band interface matched with the plug. In another embodiment the said circuit board also has an indicator light and an information acquisition port. In an embodiment the alarm comprises a specific frequency induction coil and a buzzer.
The circuit board further comprises the circuitry and further components con nected to the circuit board. The electric circuit on the circuit board is configured for measuring the electrical conductivity respectively resistance, or, in an alterna- tive design, capacitance between two conductors that are connected to the circuit board. Main characteristics of the banding tag are the following: The retractable banding tag has the functions of disconnection alarm, low-voltage alarm, antenna alarm, etc. After the product is locked, cutting the band at any position will generate an alarm. Low battery volume will generate an alarm, and passing automatic access control systems without being unlocked will also generate an automatic alarm (an tenna alarm).
In a second design the band includes a one-way rack and a first wire and a second wire which are set in the band. In this design the first and the second wire both extend from a fixed end of the band along the band and run spaced apart within the band. The first wire and the second wire are in each case electrically connected to the circuit board. The circuit board is configured to measure the capacitance be tween the first and the second wire.
The retractable banding tag of the second design can comprises a fixed end. This fixed end of the band includes a plug with a first pin on the plug which can be con- nected to the first wire.
