Abstract

The present invention is an underwear (10) for use during menstrual periods or other days in women, characterized in that, the model to be used during menstrual periods comprises the following; a heavy bleeding pad (12) with high fluid absorption characteristic in the central section of the model for use in the menstrual periods, a less dense floor pad (13) with lower fluid absorption ability around the heavy bleeding pad (12).

WOMEN

Technological Field:

The invention relates to an underwear product for use in menstrual periods and other days in women.

State of the Art:

The underwear products are the products which have been used in the state of the art for many years, provide a healthy, hygienic and comfortable life by wearing these within the clothes. The selection of the underwear is very important particularly for women. At certain times of the month, during the menstrual periods experienced by women, strong secretions may occur. Moreover, there may be secretions in the vaginal region in the daily period. For this reason, the selection of underwear in women is particularly important for women due to health reasons. The invention of the description discloses single-use underwear so as to be worn by women during all periods.

In the state of the art, women use their underwear during the menstrual period by placing sanitary pad products on their underwear. Sanitary pad is changed after bleeding however the underwear is used. This condition is not recommended in terms of health and hygiene.

In the state of the art, women use panty liners for daily secretions. Although the panty liners are placed on the underwear, there is always the possibility of leakage and similar fluids to come into contact with the underwear. In such cases, the underwear gets dirty. Using the dirty underwear again after washing is not recommended in terms of health and hygiene.

In the utility model document numbered TR2017/15275 seen in the literature research made, the following statements take place; “It is related to a menstrual underwear (A) that consists of a heating gel (2) which is positioned in the pocket (1.1) of the underwear (1) in a fixed or removable manner so as to overcome the pain occurred during menstrual periods by providing contraction and relaxation of the uterine muscles by means of the heat obtained from the heating gel (2) for approximately 45 minutes by activating the heating gel (2) placed in the pocket (1.1) that is fixed, with zipper or snap fastener of the underwear (1) such that it is positioned on the uterus region, developed for alleviating the pain that occurs during the menstrual periods of women from adolescence to menopause except pregnancy, thus to overcome the menstrual period comfortably and easily.”

The underwear disclosed in said utility model document numbered TR2017/15275 is a product to relieve the menstrual pain.

In the utility model document numbered TR2017/20085 seen in the literature research made, the following statements take place; “The invention relates to a new leak-proof underwear that is used easily and safely by women especially during menstrual periods, characterized in that; it comprises two integral parts as a breathing flexible slip piece (1) and a flexible shorts piece (2) having a breathing and hydrophobic interface (liquid tight) and has leak-proof characteristic.”

The product disclosed in said utility model document numbered TR2017/20085 is an out of fashion product that consists of slips and shorts intertwined, does not have characteristics such as absorbent pad, impermeable barrier, openable and closable bands etc.

In the state of the art, there is no underwear product which has models to be used both daily and in menstrual periods, sickness periods (in hospital, when confined to bed and in similar periods).

Consequently, new underwear is required in which the state of the art is exceeded, the disadvantages are eliminated.

Brief Description of the Invention: The invention is new underwear which exceeds the state of the art, eliminates the disadvantages and has some additional features.

The aim of the invention is to provide an underwear product which has models to be used both daily and in menstrual periods, sickness periods (in hospital, when confined to bed and in similar periods).

Another aim of the invention is to provide a healthy, hygienic and comfortable single use underwear models that women can use in daily period (menstrual, daily, illness, etc.).

Another aim of the invention is to provide underwear in which a pad base with a higher absorbency in the area of heavy bleeding, which has a sealed barrier and side cuts, can be opened and closed from side sections.

Another aim of the invention is to provide a new underwear for women which has an economic life up to three days until it is not deformed provided that it is disposable.

Another aim of the invention is to provide a new, disposable underwear for women which can be produced in slip, string, thong, shorts, seamless panties (seamless, not seen under the dress) models so as to be used every time (menstruation, daily, sickness and the like) by women.

Another aim of the invention is to provide new underwear for women that can be made of any material used in textile products, such as plastic, silicone, cotton, jute and the like.

The present invention is an underwear for use during menstrual periods or other days so as to realize all aims mentioned above and obtained from the following description, characterized in that, the model to be used during menstrual periods comprises the following; a heavy bleeding pad with high fluid absorption characteristic in the central section of the model for use in the menstrual periods, a thin floor pad with lower fluid absorption ability around the heavy bleeding pad. The invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings, thus the characteristics of the invention will be understood clearly. However, the aim of this is not to limit the invention with such certain embodiments. On the contrary, it is aimed to cover all alternatives, amendments and equivalents which may be contained in the field defined by the accompanying claims. It is to be understood that the details shown are only shown for the sake of illustrating the preferred embodiments of the present invention and presented for both illustrating the methods and for providing description of the rules of the invention and the conceptual features of the invention to be easily understood. Figure - 1 is an illustrative view of the underpants version of the inventive underwear used during the menstrual period.

Figure - 2 is an illustrative view of the shorts underwear version of the inventive underwear used during various illnesses and specific conditions.

Figure - 3 is an illustrative view of the underpants version of the inventive underwear for daily use.

Description of the Invention:

In this detailed description, the inventive underwear (10) is described by means of examples only for clarifying the subject manner such that no limiting effect is created. In the invention, underwear (10) for use in menstrual periods and other days in women is disclosed.

In Figure 1 , an illustrative view of the underwear version of the inventive underwear (10) used during the menstrual period is given. Accordingly, the underwear (10) model that is used during the menstrual period has a liquid-proof, flexible, soft, odour-free and air-permeable, Lycra floor (11 ). In the central section wherein there is heavy bleeding, there is a highly absorbent, heavy bleeding pad (12). There is less dense floor pad (13) having lower absorbency around the heavy bleeding pad (12), and flexible and impermeable barriers (14) outside the less dense floor pad (13). Moreover, the underwear (10) comprises side bands (16) (hook and loop fastener, snaps and the like) at the side sections so as to provide easy dressing and undressing. The side cuts (15) fit on the inguinal region of the user have impermeable design such that they prevent fluid flow. Moreover, the waistband rubber (19) on the upper section both allows the underwear (10) to fit on the body and provides impermeability from the upper section.

In Figure 2, an illustrative view of the shorts underwear version of the inventive underwear (10) used during various illnesses and specific conditions is given. While there are no side cuts (15) in the shorts panties version of the underwear (10), there are leg extensions (18) so as to have shorts form. The leg extensions (18) also support the impermeability feature. The shorts panties version of the underwear (10) has a heavy bleeding pad (12), less dense floor pad (13) and side barriers (14) as the model during menstrual period. Moreover, the waistband rubber (19) on the upper section both allows the underwear (10) to fit on the body and provides impermeability from the upper section.

In Figure 3, an illustrative view of the pants version of the inventive underwear (10) for daily use is given. The pants version of the underwear (10) comprises panty liner (17) that preserves daily genital secretions. Moreover, there are openable and closable side bands (16) at the side sections. On the upper section there is a waistband rubber (19) that allows the underwear (10) to fit on the body. The inventive underwear (10) is a disposable type that can be produced in any type of slip, string, thong, shorts, and seamless panties (seamless, not seen under the dress) models. Moreover, it can be made of any material used in textile products, such as plastic, silicone, cotton, jute and the like.

Claims

1- An underwear (10) for use in menstrual periods and other days in women, characterized in that, the model to be used during menstrual periods comprises the following;

-a heavy bleeding pad (12) with high fluid absorption characteristic in the central section of the model for use in the menstrual periods,

-a less dense floor pad (13) with lower fluid absorption ability around the heavy bleeding pad (12).

2- Underwear (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that; it consists of a liquid- proof, flexible, soft, odour-free and air-permeable, lycra floor (11).

3- Underwear (10) according to claim 1 , characterized in that; it comprises side cuts (15) which fit on the inguinal region of the users and prevent the fluid flow.

4- Underwear (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that; it comprises openable and closable side bands (16) from the side sections.

5- Underwear (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that; the pants version for daily use comprises panty liner (17) that preserves daily genital secretions.

6- Underwear (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that; it comprises leg extensions (18) that provides impermeability so as to reach the shorts form of the shorts pants model.

7- Underwear (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that; it comprises waistband rubber (19) that is in the upper section so as to allow the same to fit on the waist of the user, supports the impermeability.

8- Underwear (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that; it can be produced in slip, string, thong, shorts, seamless panties (seamless, not seen under the dress) models. 9- Underwear (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that; it is made of any material used in textile products, such as plastic, silicone, cotton, jute and the like.

10- Underwear (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that; it comprises flexible side barriers (14) in terms of liquid tightness.
