Abstract
The system for transmitting data, in particular within a room, has: - a first unit, known as an uplink, designed to receive an electrical data signal, to convert this signal into an optical data signal and to output said signal, - a second unit, known as an OLS, for receiving the optical data signal and for outputting it to a receiver in which the optical data is processed, - and a third unit, known as a crosslink, designed to receive the optical data signals from the uplink and to forward the optical data signals to the OLS.
