Description

切换方法、通信装置和终端设备
本申请要求于2019年08月09日提交中国专利局、申请号为201910736192.5、申请名称为“切换方法、通信装置和终端设备”的中国专利申请的优先权,其全部内容通过引用结合在本申请中。
技术领域
本申请涉及通信领域,并且更具体地,涉及一种切换方法、通信装置和终端设备。
背景技术
在移动通信系统中,传统的切换流程中,连接态终端设备的移动性管理是由网络设备控制的,即网络设备通过发送切换消息指示终端设备切换到哪个小区以及如何进行切换。传统的切换机制可以包括,源网络设备(即源小区所属的网络设备)向终端设备发送切换消息以控制终端设备从源小区切换到目标小区,终端设备在接收到该切换消息后,根据切换消息中包含的信息接入目标小区。因此,切换消息的成功发送是保证传统切换机制下成功切换的必要条件。然而,在某些移动通信系统例如长期演进(long term evolution,LTE)系统或第五代移动通信技术(5th-generation,5G)(尤其是高频场景)中,信道质量的快速衰减、或者终端设备的快速移动以及物体的遮挡,或者测量、切换准备的持续时间较长等都会导致切换消息发送失败,进而导致切换失败,降低切换成功率。
鉴于上述问题,现有技术提出条件切换(conditional handover,CHO)机制以提升切换成功率,即源网络设备在源链路质量较好时向终端设备发送条件切换CHO配置信息,该配置信息中包括网络设备为该终端设备配置的切换触发条件以及该切换触发条件对应的一个或多个候选小区的信息。终端设备在接收到该CHO配置信息后,根据该配置信息判断各候选小区是否满足切换触发条件,将满足切换触发条件的某候选小区作为目标小区,从而切换到该目标小区。由于CHO机制中,源网络设备在源链路通信质量较好的情况下向终端设备发送CHO配置信息,因此保证了该配置信息的发送成功率,进而,终端设备根据该配置信息选择目标小区并进行切换,可以提高切换的成功率。
CHO机制中,一般情况下,终端设备根据CHO配置信息确定出目标小区后即可与目标小区进行随机接入流程,随机接入成功后,即可以认为终端设备已经从当前服务小区成功切换至目标小区。但在某些情况下,在终端设备尝试随机接入到目标小区的过程中,终端设备还可能再接收到网络设备发送的CHO配置信息,终端设备后续接收到CHO配置信息后,该如何处理是需要解决的问题,目前现有技术中没有考虑在这种情形下终端设备如何进行正确处理从而提高条件切换可靠性的问题。
发明内容
本申请提供一种切换方法、通信装置和终端设备,能够提高条件切换的可靠性,保证 系统性能。
第一方面,提供一种切换方法,包括:根据第一条件切换CHO配置信息确定第一目标小区,所述第一目标小区为终端设备准备切换至的小区;在尝试接入所述第一目标小区的过程中,如果接收到第二CHO配置信息,根据所述第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切换至所述第一目标小区;其中,所述在尝试接入所述第一目标小区的过程中,包括:在向所述第一目标小区发送前导码之前;和/或,在与所述第一目标小区进行随机接入RACH的过程中。
本申请实施例提供的技术方案中,终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息确定第一目标小区,在终端设备尝试接入第一目标小区过程中,如果终端设备接收到第二CHO配置信息,终端设备需要根据第二CHO配置信息确定是否要继续接入之前确定的第一目标小区,使得终端设备能够根据网络提供的CHO配置信息进行正确的处理,从而提高条件切换的可靠性,保证系统性能。
网络设备可以为终端设备配置一个或多个候选小区,第一目标小区包含在该一个或多个候选小区中,该第一目标小区为该一个或多个候选小区中满足CHO触发条件的小区。
该第一CHO配置信息可以包括CHO触发条件和候选小区的相关信息。CHO触发条件可以包括CHO触发事件类型和相应的门限值,其中,CHO触发事件类型包括例如事件A3、事件A4、事件A5、事件B1、事件B2或其他触发事件类型等。候选小区的相关信息包括以下信息中的至少一种:候选小区的小区标识(例如小区全球标识(cell global identifier,CGI)和/或物理小区标识(physical cell identifier,PCI))、候选小区对应的频率信息(例如,同步信号块(synchronization signal block,SSB)的绝对频率、参考资源模块的绝对频率位置、频率带宽列表、子载波间隔(subcarrier spacing,SCS)特定的载波列表)、候选小区为终端设备分配的小区无线网络临时标识(cell radio network temporary identifier,C-RNTI)、接入候选小区所需的随机接入信道(random access channel,RACH)资源信息等。可选地,候选小区的相关信息还可以包括候选小区对应的资源信息(例如,物理层配置参数、介质访问控制(media access control,MAC)层配置参数、无线链路控制(radio link control,RLC)层配置参数、分组数据汇聚层协议(packet data convergence protocol,PDCP)层配置参数、业务数据适配协议(service data adaptation protocol,SDAP)层配置参数、无线资源控制(radio resource control,RRC)层配置参数等)。
示例性的,若配置的CHO触发事件类型是事件A3(也可称为A3事件),配置的对应的门限值为第一阈值(例如,为补偿(offset)dB),则当某候选小区的小区信号质量高于服务小区的小区信号质量第一阈值时,终端设备可以确定该候选小区满足CHO触发条件。若配置的CHO触发事件类型是事件A5(也可称为A5事件),配置的对应的门限值为第二阈值、第三阈值,则当某候选小区的小区信号质量高于第二阈值,且服务小区的小区信号质量低于第三阈值时,终端设备可以确定该候选小区满足CHO触发条件。
应理解,可以采用其他的定义方式来定义CHO触发事件类型和CHO触发条件是否满足,本实施例对此不做限定。
网络设备可以为终端设备配置一个或多个候选小区,该第一CHO配置信息可以包括该一个或多个候选小区各自对应的CHO配置信息。每个候选小区对应的CHO配置信息可以包括该候选小区对应的CHO触发条件和该候选小区对应的相关信息(例如该候选小区 的小区标识、该候选小区对应的频率信息、该候选小区为终端设备分配的C-RNTI、接入该候选小区所需的随机接入信道RACH资源信息等)。该一个或多个候选小区分别对应的CHO触发条件可以相同,也可以不同,换句话说,不同的候选小区可以对应同一个CHO触发条件,也可以对应不同的CHO触发条件。

需要说明的是,终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切换至第一目标小区,也可以理解为终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续接入第一目标小区,或者终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续与第一目标小区进行随机接入过程。在终端设备确定出第一目标小区后但不需要执行与第一目标小区的随机接入流程的情况下,终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切换至第一目标小区,也可以理解为终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息确定是否向第一目标小区发送RRC重配置完成消息。
结合第一方面,在一种可能的实现方式中,所述根据所述第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切换至所述第一目标小区,包括:根据所述第二CHO配置信息确定所述第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数未发生变化,确定继续切换至所述第一目标小区。
终端设备确定第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数未发生变化时,可以认为第一目标小区仍然满足CHO触发条件,该第一目标小区仍然是适合终端设备切换至的目标小区,因此,终端设备可以继续切换至该第一目标小区,避免终端设备重新进行目标小区的确定、重新尝试接入满足CHO触发条件的目标小区等的流程,能够降低复杂度、节约终端设备的能耗,且使得终端设备与网络设备侧的理解/行为保持一致,提高条件切换的可靠性,保证系统性能。
结合第一方面,在一种可能的实现方式中,如果所述终端设备未能成功切换至所述第一目标小区时,所述方法还包括:根据所述第二CHO配置信息,或者根据所述第一CHO配置信息和所述第二CHO配置信息,确定所述终端设备准备切换至的第二目标小区。
当终端设备向第一目标小区发起的切换失败时,终端设备可以根据网络设备配置的CHO配置信息重新确定终端设备可以切换至的目标小区,从而使得终端设备能够切换至合适的目标小区,保证业务连续。
应理解,第二目标小区是终端设备与第一目标小区的切换流程失败后,又重新确定的尝试切换至的小区,该第二目标小区可以是网络设备为终端设备配置的候选小区中满足CHO触发条件的一个小区。第二目标小区与第一目标小区可以是同一个小区,也可以是不同的小区。

终端设备确定第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数发生变化时,第一目标小区可能不再是适合终端设备切换至的小区,终端设备可以根据变化后的配置信息重新确定可以切换至的目标小区,避免终端设备切换至不合适的小区,或者,避免终端设备与第一目标小区的切换失败导致的业务中断,通过重新确定可以切换至的目标小区,能够提高条件切换的可靠性,提升切换成功率,保证系统性能。
应理解,第三目标小区是在第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数发生变化时终端设备重新确定的准备切换至的小区,该第三目标小区可以是网络设备为终端设备配置的候选小区中满足CHO触发条件的一个小区。第三目标小区与第一目标小区可以是同一个小区,也可以是不同的小区。

结合第一方面,在一种可能的实现方式中,所述第二CHO配置信息为网络设备向终端设备发送的CHO全配置信息时,终端设备可以根据第二CHO配置信息中是否包括第一目标小区的小区标识(例如CGI和/或PCI)、第一目标小区对应的索引或第一目标小区对应的测量信息(例如测量频点或测量标识)或其他可以用来标识第一目标小区的信息,来确定第一目标小区对应的配置参数是否发生变化。可选地,若第二CHO配置信息中不包括第一目标小区的小区标识、第一目标小区对应的索引或第一目标小区对应的测量信息等,终端设备可以认为网络设备此次为终端设备配置的候选小区中不包括第一目标小区, 进而可以认为第一目标小区可能不再是适合终端设备切换至的小区,因此终端设备确定不再继续切换至第一目标小区。
结合第一方面,在一种可能的实现方式中,所述第二CHO配置信息为网络设备向终端设备发送的CHO全配置信息时,终端设备可以结合第一CHO配置信息以及第二CHO配置信息来进行判断,例如,通过对比第一CHO配置信息以及第二CHO配置信息来判断第一目标小区对应的CHO配置信息(例如配置参数)是否发生变化。可选地,终端设备通过对比第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息判断第一目标小区对应的CHO配置信息(例如配置参数)是否发生变化,包括:判断第一目标小区是否被删除,和/或,判断第一目标小区对应的CHO触发条件是否发生变化,和/或,判断第一目标小区的相关信息是否发生变化,其中第一目标小区的相关信息可以包括第一目标小区为终端设备分配的C-RNTI、接入第一目标小区所需的随机接入信道RACH资源、第一目标小区对应的资源信息(如物理层配置参数、MAC层配置参数、RLC层配置参数、PDCP层配置参数、SDAP层配置参数、RRC层配置参数等)等。通过对比第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,终端设备一旦发现对应第一目标小区的任意一项参数发生变化,则,终端设备确定不再继续切换至第一目标小区,终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息进行后续操作,例如,根据第二CHO配置信息进行CHO触发条件是否满足的判断,进而,确定可以切换至的目标小区并尝试接入。
结合第一方面,在一种可能的实现方式中,所述第二CHO配置信息是网络设备向终端设备发送的CHO全配置信息,终端设备根据所述第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切换至第一目标小区。
可选地,终端设备接收到第二CHO配置信息后,确定不继续切换至第一目标小区,根据第二CHO配置信息重新确定终端设备可以切换至的小区。也就是说,终端设备接收到第二CHO配置信息之后,第一CHO配置信息不再生效,即,终端设备删除第一CHO配置信息,存储第二CHO配置信息,后续操作中,终端设备使用/遵循第二CHO配置信息。具体的,终端设备接收到第二CHO配置信息后,停止切换至第一目标小区;终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息进行CHO触发条件是否满足的判断,进而,确定可以切换至的目标小区并尝试接入。
应理解,终端设备确定不继续切换至第一目标小区,是指终端设备此次不继续切换至第一目标小区。在一些可能的实现方式中,若终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息重新确定可以切换至的小区仍为第一目标小区,则终端设备在新的切换流程中仍执行切换至第一目标小区的操作。
结合第一方面,在一种可能的实现方式中,所述第二CHO配置信息是在所述第一CHO配置信息的基础上,用于对通过所述第一CHO配置信息配置过的候选小区进行更改的信息(可以将这种实现方式称为delta配置方式)。可选地,该第二CHO配置信息中可以包含指示信息,该指示信息用于指示该第二CHO配置信息是否是delta配置信息,例如,该指示信息可以是二进制数值,如“0”表示该第二CHO配置信息是delta配置信息,“1”表示该第二CHO配置信息不是delta配置信息;或者,该指示信息可以是布尔值,如“FALSE”表示该第二CHO配置信息不是delta配置信息,“TRUE”表示该第二CHO配置信息是delta配置信息;或者,该指示信息有其他表示方式,本申请实施例对此不做 限定。应理解,在这种实现方式中,所述第二CHO配置信息与所述第一CHO配置信息之间可以存在关联关系。终端设备可以根据所述第一CHO配置信息和所述第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切换至所述第一目标小区。
结合第一方面,在一种可能的实现方式中,所述第二CHO配置信息是在所述第一CHO配置信息的基础上,用于对通过所述第一CHO配置信息配置过的候选小区进行更改的信息时,终端设备可以根据第二CHO配置信息中是否包括第一目标小区的小区标识(例如CGI和/或PCI)、第一目标小区对应的索引、第一目标小区对应的测量信息(例如测量频点或测量标识)或者其他用于标识第一目标小区的信息来确定第一目标小区对应的配置参数是否发生变化。可选地,若第二CHO配置信息中包括第一目标小区的小区标识、第一目标小区对应的索引或第一目标小区对应的测量信息,终端设备可以认为网络设备对第一目标小区对应的CHO配置信息进行了更改(例如修改或删除),则终端设备可以确定第一目标小区对应的配置参数发生了变化。

应理解,本申请实施例中,第二CHO配置信息可以用于进行新的候选小区的添加,和/或,对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过的候选小区)的配置参数进行修改,和/或,对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过的候选小区)进行删除。
结合第一方面,在一种可能的实现方式中,所述第一CHO配置信息和/或所述第二CHO配置信息承载于无线资源控制RRC消息中。

下面将结合附图,对本申请中的技术方案进行描述。
本申请实施例的技术方案可以应用于各种通信系统,包括但不限于长期演进(long term evolution,LTE)系统、LTE频分双工(frequency division duplex,FDD)系统、LTE时分双工(time division duplex,TDD)、通用移动通信系统(universal mobile telecommunication system,UMTS)、全球互联微波接入(worldwide interoperability for microwave access,WiMAX)通信系统、第五代(5th generation,5G)系统或新无线(new radio,NR)系统以及未来的第六代通信系统等。
还应理解,本申请实施例的技术方案在通信系统中应用时,可以应用于各种接入技术。例如,可以应用于正交多址接入(orthogonal multiple access,OMA)技术或非正交多址接入(non-orthogonal multiple access,NOMA)技术。应用于正交多址接入技术时,可以应用于正交频分多址(orthogonal frequency division multiple access,OFDMA)或单载波频分 多址(single carrier frequency division multiple access,SC-FDMA)等技术,本申请实施例不做限定。应用于非正交多址接入技术时,可以应用于稀疏码多址接入(sparse code multiple access,SCMA)、多用户共享接入(multi-user shared access,MUSA)、图样分割多址接入(pattern division multiple access,PDMA)、交织格栅多址接入(interleave-grid multiple access,IGMA)、资源扩展多址接入(resource spreading multiple access,RSMA)、非正交编码多址接入(non-orthogonal coded multiple access,NCMA)或非正交编码接入(non-orthogonal coded access,NOCA)等技术,本申请实施例对此不做任何限定。
图1示出了本申请实施例的应用场景的示意图。如图1所示,该应用场景中可以包括网络设备110和终端设备120。
本申请实施例中的网络设备110可以是用于与终端设备120通信的设备,例如网络设备110可以是用于将终端设备120接入无线接入网络(radio access network,RAN)的基站。为方便理解,本申请实施例以网络设备110为基站为例进行说明。基站有时也可称为接入网设备或接入网节点。可以理解的是,采用不同无线接入技术的系统中,具备基站功能的设备的名称可能会有所不同。为方便描述,本申请实施例将为终端设备提供无线通信接入功能的装置统称为基站。例如网络设备110可以是长期演进(long term evolution,LTE)中的演进型节点B(evolved node B,eNB或eNodeB),也可以是第五代移动通信(the fifth generation,5G)系统中的下一代基站节点(next generation node basestation,gNB),还可以是云无线接入网络(cloud radio access network,CRAN)场景下的无线控制器,也可以是传输接收点(transmission and reception point,TRP),还可以是5G系统或未来移动通信系统中的集中单元(centralized unit,CU)或分布单元(distributed unit,DU),其中CU与DC可以集成在同一个物理设备中,也可以部署于分离的设备中。CU实现gNB的部分功能,DU实现gNB的部分功能,例如,CU负责处理非实时协议和服务,实现无线资源控制(radio resource control,RRC),分组数据汇聚层协议(packet data convergence protocol,PDCP)层的功能;DU负责处理物理层协议和实时服务,实现无线链路控制(radio link control,RLC)层、媒体接入控制(media access control,MAC)层和物理(physical,PHY)层的功能。或者该网络设备110可以为中继站、接入点、车载设备、可穿戴设备以及5G网络中的网络设备或者未来演进的PLMN网络中的网络设备等,本申请实施例并不限定。网络设备110可以是宏基站,也可以是微基站。网络设备110的覆盖范围内可以包括一个小区,也可以包括多个小区。
本申请实施例中的终端设备120,可以经接入网设备与一个或多个核心网(core network,CN)进行通信。终端设备120可以是一种具有无线收发功能的设备,终端设备120可以被部署在陆地上,包括室内或室外、手持或车载;也可以被部署在水面上(如轮船等);还可以被部署在空中(例如飞机、气球和卫星上等)。终端设备120也可以称为用户设备(user equipment,UE)、接入终端、终端、用户单元、用户站、移动站、移动台、远方站、远程终端、移动设备、用户终端、无线网络设备、用户代理或用户装置。终端设备120可以是蜂窝电话(cellular phone)、无绳电话、会话启动协议(session initiation protocol,SIP)电话、智能电话(smart phone)、无线本地环路(wireless localloop,WLL)站、个人数字处理(personal digital assistant,PDA)、具有无线通信功能的手持设备、计算设备或连接到无线调制解调器的其它设备、车载设备、可穿戴设备、无人机设备或物联 网、车联网中的终端以及未来网络中的任意形态的终端、中继用户设备或者未来演进的公用陆地移动通信网络(public land mobile network,PLMN)中的终端等。本申请实施例对此并不限定。为方便描述,在本申请一些实施例中,以终端设备120为UE为例进行说明。
网络设备110与终端设备120可以通过二者之间的传输链路(或称通信链路)进行上下行信号的传输,其中,网络设备110到终端设备120的传输链路可以称为下行链路(downlink),终端设备120到网络设备110的传输链路可以称为上行链路(uplink)。
当终端设备处于连接状态时,会从一个小区移动到另一个小区,原来的服务小区不能再给终端设备继续提供服务或者为终端设备提供的服务质量较差,为了不中断业务,需要将终端设备切换到更合适的小区,继续为终端设备提供服务,实现移动性管理。其中原来的服务小区可以称为源小区,为终端设备提供继续服务的小区可以称为目标小区,终端设备从源小区切换至目标小区的过程就是切换。源小区和目标小区可以位于同一网络设备的覆盖范围内,也可以位于不同网络设备的覆盖范围内。以网络设备为基站为例,具体而言,源小区和目标小区可以属于同一基站,也可以属于不同基站,本申请实施例中源小区所属的基站可以称为源基站,相应地,源小区所属的网络设备可以称为源网络设备,目标小区所属的基站可以称为目标基站,相应地,目标小区所属的网络设备可以称为目标网络设备。当源小区和目标小区属于同一基站时,源基站和目标基站相同,此时终端设备是在同一基站内的不同小区之间进行的切换,在一些实施例中也可以称为站内切换。当源小区和目标小区属于不同基站时,终端设备从源小区切换至目标小区的过程可以认为是在不同基站间进行的切换,在一些实施例中也可以称为站间切换。
在传统的切换流程中,连接态的终端设备(例如连接态UE)的移动性管理通常是由网络设备控制的,即网络设备通过发送切换消息来指示终端设备切换到哪个小区以及如何进行切换。以图1为例,终端设备120在网络设备110管理的源小区的覆盖范围内,当终端设备120需要进行切换时,网络设备110可以向终端设备120发送切换消息以控制终端设备120从源小区切换到目标小区。网络设备110给终端设备120发送的切换消息可以是无线资源控制(radio resource control,RRC)消息。示例性的,在NR系统中,该RRC消息(即切换消息)可以是携带同步重配置信元(reconfiguration with sync)的RRC重配置消息;在LTE系统中,该RRC消息(即切换消息)可以是携带移动性控制信息信元(mobility control info)的RRC连接重配置消息。网络设备110给终端设备120发送的切换消息中包括目标小区的相关信息以及终端设备120接入该目标小区所需的相关的配置参数。示例性的,切换消息中可以包括目标小区的相关信息例如目标小区的物理小区标识(physical cell identifier,PCI)和目标小区对应的频率信息,目标小区为终端设备分配的小区无线网络临时标识(cell radio network temporary identifier,C-RNTI),终端设备接入目标小区所需的随机接入信道(random access channel,RACH)资源信息,其中,RACH资源信息可以包括专用RACH资源信息和/或公共RACH资源信息,以及其他相关信息等。其中目标小区对应的频率信息可以包括目标小区对应的频点,示例性的,在NR系统中,目标小区对应的频率信息所包含的内容可参考协议TS38331-f51中的具体描述,在此不再赘述。终端设备120在接收到网络设备110发送的切换消息后,可以根据切换消息中包含的信息接入目标小区。因此,切换消息的成功发送是保证终端设备在传统切换机制下成功切换的必要条件。然而,在某些通信场景(尤其是高频场景)中,信道质量的快速衰减、终端设备的快 速移动、物体的遮挡,或者测量、切换准备的持续时间较长等都会导致切换消息发送失败,进而导致无线链路失败或者切换失败,降低切换成功率。
为解决上述切换消息可能发送失败而导致终端设备切换失败的问题,可以采用条件切换(conditional handover,CHO)机制来提升切换成功率。CHO机制是基于CHO触发条件(或者CHO执行条件)进行的切换,网络设备可以在通信链路质量较好时通知终端设备一个或多个候选小区的配置信息及相对应的CHO触发条件,终端设备可以将满足CHO触发条件的候选小区作为目标小区,进而,终端设备可以在确定出目标小区后,从源小区切换至确定出的目标小区,而无需像在传统切换机制中一样由网络设备发送切换消息来通知终端设备要切换至的小区。网络设备可以为终端设备配置一个候选小区或多个候选小区,当网络设备为终端设备配置一个候选小区时,该一个候选小区与源小区可以属于同一基站或不同基站;当网络设备为终端设备配置多个候选小区时,该多个候选小区与源小区可属于同一基站或不同基站,该多个候选小区也可以属于同一基站或不同基站。应理解,本申请实施例中候选小区所属的基站可以称为候选基站,相应地,候选小区所属的网络设备可以称为候选网络设备。
为方便理解,下面结合图2描述终端设备基于CHO机制的切换流程。但应理解,图2所示的CHO流程仅仅是示例性的,其中有的步骤可以不执行,或者在CHO流程中还有其他的步骤被执行但在图2中并未示出。图2所示的CHO流程中,各个步骤之间的逻辑顺序可以调整,本申请实施例对此不做具体限定。
在步骤S210,源网络设备向终端设备发送CHO配置信息。
可选的,源网络设备可以在源链路质量较好时向终端设备发送CHO配置信息。应理解,源链路即源网络设备与终端设备之间的通信链路,包括上行链路和下行链路。
该CHO配置信息可以包括CHO触发条件(或CHO执行条件)、一个或多个候选小区的信息等,其中多个候选小区的CHO触发条件可以相同,也可以不同。候选小区的信息可以包括以下信息中的至少一项:候选小区的小区全球标识(cell global identifier,CGI)、候选小区的物理小区标识(physical cell identifier,PCI)、候选小区对应的频率信息、候选小区为终端设备分配的C-RNTI、接入候选小区所需的随机接入信道RACH资源信息等。其中,候选小区对应的频率信息可以包括同步信号块(synchronization signal block,SSB)的绝对频率(absolute frequency)(例如absolute frequency SSB)、参考资源模块(common resource block,common RB0)的绝对频率位置(absolute frequency point)(例如absolute frequency pointA)、频率带宽列表(frequency band list)、子载波间隔(subcarrier spacing,SCS)特定的载波列表(specific carrier list)(例如scs-specific carrier list)等中的一项或多项;接入候选小区所需的随机接入信道RACH资源信息可以包括专用RACH资源信息和/或公共RACH资源信息。可选的,候选小区的信息还可以包括候选小区对应的资源信息(如物理层配置参数、介质访问控制(media access control,MAC)层配置参数、无线链路控制(radio link control,RLC)层配置参数、分组数据汇聚层协议(packet data convergence protocol,PDCP)层配置参数、业务数据适配协议(service data adaptation protocol,SDAP)层配置参数、无线资源控制(radio resource control,RRC)层配置参数等)。
需要说明的是,当网络设备为终端设备配置多个候选小区时,对于该多个候选小区中 的每个候选小区而言,网络设备可以为终端设备配置每个候选小区各自对应的CHO配置信息。换句话说,在步骤S210中,源网络设备向终端设备发送的CHO配置信息包括多个候选小区中的每个候选小区所对应的CHO配置信息。每个候选小区对应的CHO配置信息可以包括该候选小区对应的CHO触发条件(或CHO执行条件)和该候选小区的信息,该候选小区的信息可以包括以下信息中的至少一种:该候选小区的CGI、PCI、该候选小区对应的频率信息、该候选小区为终端设备分配的C-RNTI、接入该候选小区所需的RACH资源信息、该候选小区对应的资源信息(如物理层配置参数、MAC层配置参数、RLC层配置参数、PDCP层配置参数、SDAP层配置参数、RRC层配置参数等)等。其中,每个候选小区各自对应的CHO触发条件可以相同或不同。本申请实施例对此不做限定。可以理解的,在网络设备为终端设备配置的多个候选小区对应的CHO触发条件相同的情况下,网络设备可以为多个候选小区配置一个共用CHO触发条件,无需为每个候选小区均配置对应的CHO触发条件。例如:在网络设备为终端设备配置的多个候选小区对应的CHO触发条件相同的情况下,网络设备向终端设备发送的CHO配置信息中可以包括多个候选小区的信息和一个共用CHO触发条件,终端设备接收到网络设备发送的该CHO配置信息后,确定该CHO配置信息中包括的多个候选小区,共用该CHO配置信息中包括的一个CHO触发条件,即该CHO配置信息中包括的多个候选小区均对应该CHO配置中包括的一个CHO触发条件。
S210中的CHO配置信息可以包含在RRC消息中,或其他消息中,本申请实施例对此不做限定。
在步骤S220,终端设备接收CHO配置信息后,终端设备可以根据该CHO配置信息判断CHO触发条件(或CHO执行条件)是否满足,确定目标小区。
在该步骤中,终端设备可以根据该CHO配置信息判断配置的候选小区是否满足CHO触发条件,从而将满足CHO触发条件的某个候选小区作为目标小区。如果存在多个满足CHO触发条件的候选小区,终端设备可以按照某一规则从该多个满足CHO触发条件的候选小区中选择一个小区作为目标小区,例如,将满足CHO触发条件的多个候选小区中的小区信号质量最高的小区确定为目标小区,或者,将满足CHO触发条件的多个候选小区中的优先级最高(如频率优先级最高)的小区确定为目标小区,或者将是满足CHO触发条件的多个候选小区中拥有最多优良波束(优良波束指的是波束的信号质量高于某预定门限值,该预定门限值可以包含在第一消息中,或者是协议约定的,本申请不做限定)的小区确定为目标小区,或者是将满足CHO触发条件的多个候选小区中的任一小区确定为目标小区,或者通过其他方式确定目标小区,或者留给终端设备实现,本申请实施例对此不做限定。
可选地,终端设备在判断CHO触发条件是否满足时,可以基于无线资源管理(radio resource management,RRM)测量得到的小区信号质量(例如参考信号接收功率(reference signal received power,RSRP)和/或参考信号接收质量(reference signal received quality,RSRQ))进行判断。示例性的,网络设备为终端设备配置的候选小区中包括候选小区#1,对应候选小区#1,网络设备配置的CHO触发事件类型是A3事件且配置的相对应的门限值为补偿值(offset),则当候选小区#1的小区信号质量比服务小区(即源小区)的小区信号质量高出offset时,则认为候选小区#1满足CHO触发条件,终端设备可以将该候选 小区#1确定为目标小区,即终端设备可以从服务小区切换到该候选小区#1。再例如,除了候选小区#1,网络设备为终端设备配置的候选小区中还包括候选小区#2,对应候选小区#2,网络设备配置的CHO触发事件类型是A5事件且配置的相对应的门限值为J、K,则当候选小区#2的小区信号质量高于K且服务小区(即源小区)的小区信号质量低于J时,则认为候选小区#2满足CHO触发条件,终端设备可以将该候选小区#2确定为目标小区,即终端设备可以从服务小区切换到该候选小区#2。
应理解,网络设备为候选小区配置的CHO触发事件类型可以根据实际需要确定,候选小区满足与CHO触发事件类型对应的CHO触发条件,即认为该候选小区可以被确定为目标小区。
可选地,在步骤S220之后,终端设备可以与确定出来的目标小区进行随机接入RACH过程。例如目标小区与源小区属于不同的网络设备,则在该步骤220之后终端设备将与目标小区所属的网络设备即目标网络设备(例如图2中的候选网络设备#1)进行RACH过程。若目标小区与源小区均属于同一网络设备,终端设备可以不需要与目标小区(或目标网络设备,即源网络设备)进行RACH过程。
当随机接入过程完成,终端设备可以给目标小区所属的目标网络设备发送指示CHO完成的消息,例如RRC消息,示例性的该RRC消息可以为RRC重配置完成消息,用于通知目标网络设备条件切换完成,终端设备已经成功切换至目标小区。当目标小区和源小区属于同一网络设备时,目标网络设备即为源网络设备,则终端设备通知源网络设备条件切换完成。
至此,UE成功从源小区切换至目标小区。由于在CHO机制中,源网络设备在源链路通信质量较好的情况下向终端设备发送条件切换的配置信息(即CHO配置信息),保证了CHO配置信息的发送成功率,进而终端设备根据该CHO配置信息选择目标小区并进行切换,提高了切换的成功率。
在步骤S210之前,源网络设备与终端设备可以执行测量流程,例如图2所示的步骤S201和步骤S202。
在步骤S201,源网络设备在RRC重配置消息中给终端设备发送测量配置。
在步骤S202,终端设备接收测量配置后对测量对象进行测量,当评估出测量结果满足上报触发条件后,终端设备向源网络设备发送相应的测量报告。源网络设备根据终端设备上报的测量报告进行CHO的切换准备流程,例如,源网络设备根据测量报告确定出候选小区后,源网络设备与候选小区所属的候选网络设备进行切换准备。
可选地,若源网络设备确定出的候选小区与源小区属于不同的网络设备,则源网络设备与候选网络设备之间进行信令交互。
示例性的,如图2所示,源网络设备确定出的候选小区包括候选小区#1和候选小区#2,候选小区#1属于候选网络设备#1,候选小区#2属于候选网络设备#2。在步骤S203a和步骤S203b,源网络设备分别向候选网络设备#1和候选网络设备#2发送请求消息,用于请求候选网络设备#1、候选网络设备#2为条件切换做准备,该请求消息可以是切换请求消息,或其他消息,本申请实施例不做限定。在步骤S204a和步骤S204b,候选网络设备#1和候选网络设备#2分别向源网络设备发送请求确认消息,该请求确认消息可以是切换请求确认消息,或其他消息,本申请实施例不做限定。该请求确认消息中可以包含候选 小区的信息,例如,S204a中的请求确认消息可以包含候选小区#1的信息,S204b中的请求确认消息可以包含候选小区#2的信息,具体的,候选小区的信息所包含的内容,可以参照步骤S210,在此不再赘述。应理解,图2中仅以两个候选网络设备、每个候选网络设备包括一个候选小区为例进行示例性的说明,在其他实施例中,源网络设备可以与多个候选网络设备进行信令交互,每个候选网络设备也可以包括多个候选小区;或者,源网络设备可以与同一个候选网络设备进行多次信令交互。若候选小区与源小区同属于源网络设备,则源网络设备可以为候选小区进行切换准备(例如,进行准纳控制、资源分配),即条件切换的切换准备过程可以不执行(例如,切换请求、切换请求确认可以省略)。
上文提到,源网络设备可以与一个或多个候选小区进行条件切换的切换准备,源网络设备向终端设备发送的CHO配置信息中可以包括该一个或多个候选小区对应的CHO配置信息。该一个或多个候选小区各自对应的CHO配置信息可能是会发生变化的,在CHO机制中,源网络设备可以保持与终端设备的无线资源控制RRC连接和数据传输,直至终端设备成功切换至某个小区。网络设备(如源网络设备或目标网络设备)可以发送CHO全配置信息以替换之前发送过的CHO配置信息,例如,网络设备可以为终端设备重新配置候选小区;或者,网络设备在之前发送过的CHO配置信息基础上对已经配置过的候选小区进行添加、修改或删除等操作,例如网络设备可以为终端设备配置新的候选小区、删除之前配置的某个候选小区、修改已配置的候选小区对应的CHO配置信息等。换句话说,网络设备可以为终端设备提供新的候选小区对应的CHO配置信息、可以修改已配置的候选小区对应的CHO配置信息、可以删除已配置的候选小区对应的CHO配置信息、也可以向终端设备发送重新配置的候选小区对应的CHO配置信息等。
具体的,在一种实现方式中,源网络设备决定配置新的候选小区、或删除之前配置的某个候选小区、或修改已配置的候选小区对应的CHO配置信息或者为终端设备重新配置候选小区,即CHO配置信息的变化是源网络设备触发的;或者,在另一种实现方式中,候选网络设备决定配置新的候选小区、或删除之前配置的某个候选小区、或修改已配置的候选小区对应的CHO配置信息或者为终端设备重新配置候选小区,即CHO配置信息的变化是候选网络设备触发的,然后,候选网络设备将变化后的CHO配置信息通知源网络设备,接着,源网络设备将变化后的CHO配置信息发送给终端设备。上述两种实现方式中,源网络设备均可以将变化的CHO配置信息提供给终端设备,即源网络设备可以多次执行图2中的步骤S210。
一般情况下,终端设备根据网络设备发送的CHO配置信息(如第一CHO配置信息)确定目标小区后,即可以与目标小区所属的网络设备进行随机接入流程,随机接入成功后,即可以认为终端设备已经从源小区成功切换至目标小区。但在某些情况下,终端设备根据网络发送的CHO配置信息确定出目标小区后,在终端设备尝试接入到该目标小区的过程中,终端设备还可能再接收到网络设备后续发送的CHO配置信息(如第二CHO配置信息),终端设备后续接收到的第二CHO配置信息,可能对第一CHO配置信息进行了更改(例如添加、修改、删除或完全替换),目前现有技术中没有考虑在这种情形下终端设备如何进行处理。
本申请实施例提供一种方法,可以解决终端设备在尝试接入目标小区的过程中又接收到CHO配置信息的情况下,终端设备如何进行处理从而能够提高CHO的可靠性,保证系 统性能的问题。下面结合图3对本申请实施例进行详细描述。
图3示出了本申请实施例的切换方法的示意性流程图。图3的方法300可以由终端设备执行。该终端设备例如可以是图1所示终端设备120或者图2所示的终端设备。该方法300可以包括步骤S310至步骤S320。
在步骤S310,根据第一条件切换CHO配置信息确定第一目标小区。
该第一目标小区为终端设备准备切换至的小区。
网络设备可以为终端设备配置一个或多个候选小区,第一目标小区包含在该一个或多个候选小区中,该第一目标小区为该一个或多个候选小区中满足CHO触发条件的小区。
该第一CHO配置信息可以包括CHO触发条件和候选小区的相关信息。CHO触发条件可以包括CHO触发事件类型和相应的门限值,其中,CHO触发事件类型可以包括例如事件A3、事件A4、事件A5、事件B1、事件B2或其他触发事件类型等。候选小区的相关信息可以包括以下信息中的至少一种:候选小区的小区标识(例如CGI和/或PCI)、候选小区对应的频率信息(例如同步信号块SSB的绝对频率、参考资源模块的绝对频率位置、频率带宽列表、SCS特定的载波列表)、候选小区为终端设备分配的C-RNTI、接入候选小区所需的随机接入信道RACH资源信息等。可选地,候选小区的相关信息还可以包括候选小区对应的资源信息(如物理层配置参数、MAC层配置参数、RLC层配置参数、PDCP层配置参数、SDAP层配置参数、RRC层配置参数等)。
示例性的,若配置的CHO触发事件类型是事件A3(也可称为A3事件),配置的对应的门限值为第一阈值(例如,为补偿(offset)dB),则当某候选小区的小区信号质量高于服务小区的小区信号质量第一阈值时,终端设备可以确定该候选小区满足CHO触发条件。若配置的CHO触发事件类型是事件A5(也可称为A5事件),配置的对应的门限值为第二阈值、第三阈值,则当某候选小区的小区信号质量高于第二阈值,且服务小区的小区信号质量低于第三阈值时,终端设备可以确定该候选小区满足CHO触发条件。
应理解,上述对于触发事件类型的说明仅仅是示例性的,在一些实施方式中还可以采用其他的定义方式来定义CHO触发事件类型和CHO触发条件是否满足,本申请实施例对此不做限定。
网络设备可以为终端设备配置一个或多个候选小区,该第一CHO配置信息可以包括该一个或多个候选小区各自对应的CHO配置信息。每个候选小区对应的CHO配置信息可以包括该候选小区对应的CHO触发条件和该候选小区对应的相关信息(例如该候选小区的小区标识、该候选小区对应的频率信息、该候选小区为终端设备分配的C-RNTI、接入该候选小区所需的随机接入信道RACH资源信息等)。可选地,该候选小区的相关信息还可以包括该候选小区对应的资源信息(如物理层配置参数、MAC层配置参数、RLC层配置参数、PDCP层配置参数、SDAP层配置参数、RRC层配置参数等)。该一个或多个候选小区分别对应的CHO触发条件可以相同,也可以不同,也就是说,不同的候选小区可以对应同一个CHO触发条件,也可以对应不同的CHO触发条件,本申请实施例不做具体限定。
该第一CHO配置信息可以包含在RRC消息中,或其他消息中,本申请实施例对此不做限定。
该第一目标小区与终端设备当前所在的服务小区可以属于同一网络设备,也可以属于 不同的网络设备。换句话说,以网络设备为基站为例,该第一目标小区与终端设备当前所在的服务小区(即源小区)可以属于同一基站,也可以属于不同基站。
在步骤S320,在尝试接入第一目标小区的过程中,如果接收到第二CHO配置信息,根据第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切换至第一目标小区。
在尝试接入第一目标小区的过程中,可以包括在向第一目标小区发送前导码(preamble)之前,和/或在与第一目标小区进行随机接入RACH的过程中。示例性的,以在LTE系统或NR系统中为例,尝试接入第一目标小区的过程可以包括:终端设备向第一目标小区发送前导码之前;和/或,在终端设备向第一目标小区发送前导码之后至终端设备接收随机接入响应(random access response,RAR)之前;和/或,在终端设备接收RAR之后至终端设备向第一目标小区发送RRC重配置完成消息之前;和/或,在终端设备向第一目标小区发送前导码之后至终端设备向第一目标小区发送RRC重配置完成消息之前。或者,可选地,尝试接入第一目标小区的过程包括:终端设备向第一目标小区发送RRC重配置完成消息之前。应理解,尝试接入第一目标小区的过程可以理解为终端设备在确定出要切换至的第一目标小区后,为了切换至该第一目标小区所需要完成的流程。另外,尝试接入第一目标小区的过程包括终端设备向第一目标小区发送前导码之前,可以理解为终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息确定出了第一目标小区,正准备向第一目标小区发送前导码的过程属于终端设备尝试接入第一目标小区的过程。
本申请实施例提供的技术方案中,终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息确定第一目标小区,在终端设备尝试接入第一目标小区过程中,如果终端设备接收到第二CHO配置信息,终端设备可以根据第二CHO配置信息确定是否要继续接入已经确定出的第一目标小区,使得终端设备能够根据网络设备提供的CHO配置信息进行正确的处理,从而提高条件切换的可靠性,保证系统性能。
该第二CHO配置信息的形式有多种。
作为一个示例,该第二CHO配置信息可以是在第一CHO配置信息的基础上,用于对通过第一CHO配置信息配置过的候选小区进行更改的信息(可以将这种方式称为delta配置方式)。例如,基于第一CHO配置信息,第二CHO配置信息可以用于进行新的候选小区的添加,和/或,对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过的候选小区)的配置参数进行修改,和/或,对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过的候选小区)进行删除。示例性的,第二CHO配置信息用于添加新的候选小区(例如,第二CHO配置信息中包括新增候选小区对应的CHO触发条件和/或新增候选小区的相关信息等),或者,第二CHO配置信息可以用于对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过该候选小区)进行配置信息的修改(例如,可以包括候选小区修改之后对应的CHO触发条件和/或候选小区修改之后对应的相关信息等),或者,第二CHO配置信息还可以用于对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过该候选小区)进行删除(例如,包括删除已经配置过的该候选小区对应的CHO触发条件,和/或删除已经配置过的该候选小区的相关信息,和/或删除已经配置过的该候选小区对应的测量标识、测量频点等)。候选小区的相关信息参考上文描述,在此不再赘述。
相应的,终端设备可以根据接收到的第二CHO配置和第一CHO配置信息进行配置参 数的更改。例如,在第一CHO配置信息的基础上,如果第二CHO配置信息用于添加新的候选小区,则终端设备进行新的候选小区的添加,包括增加新的候选小区对应的CHO触发条件和/或增加新的候选小区的相关信息等;如果第二CHO配置信息用于对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过该候选小区)进行配置信息的修改,则终端设备可以将已配置过的候选小区对应的触发条件和/或已配置过的候选小区的相关信息修改成该已配置过的候选小区修改之后对应的CHO触发条件和/或修改之后对应的相关信息;如果第二CHO配置信息用于对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过该候选小区)进行删除,则终端设备可以删除已经配置过的该候选小区对应的CHO触发条件,和/或删除已经配置过的该候选小区的相关信息,和/或删除已经配置过的该候选小区对应的测量标识、测量频点等,即终端设备删除该候选小区,不再对该候选小区进行CHO触发条件是否满足的判断,更进一步的,终端设备不会切换至该候选小区。
应理解,该第二CHO配置信息是在第一CHO配置信息的基础上,用于对通过第一CHO配置信息配置过的候选小区进行更改的信息,也可以表述为第二CHO配置信息是第一CHO配置信息的delta配置信息,第二CHO配置信息与第一CHO配置信息之间可以存在关联关系。
作为另一个示例,该第二CHO配置信息可以是网络设备向终端设备发送的CHO全配置信息。也即该第二CHO配置信息与第一CHO配置信息相互独立、解耦,没有关联关系。相应地,终端设备可以以接收到的第二CHO配置信息完全替换掉之前接收到的第一CHO配置信息,并可以根据第二CHO配置信息执行条件切换流程;或者终端设备可以根据第二CHO配置信息和第一CHO配置信息执行条件切换流程。其中该第二CHO配置信息中所指示的网络设备为终端设备配置的候选小区与第一CHO配置信息中所指示的网络设备为终端设备配置的候选小区可以完全相同,可以部分相同,也可以完全不同。第二CHO配置信息中所指示的网络设备为终端设备配置的候选小区中可以包括第一目标小区,也可以不包括第一目标小区,本申请实施例不做具体限定。
该第二CHO配置信息可以包含在RRC消息中,或其他消息中,本申请实施例对此不做限定。可选地,包含第二CHO配置信息的RRC消息中可以包含用于指示该第二CHO配置信息是否是全配置信息的指示信息(如第一指示信息),和/或,包含用于指示该第二CHO配置信息是否是delta配置信息的指示信息(如第二指示信息)。
例如,该第一指示信息可以是二进制数值,如“0”表示该第二CHO配置信息不是全配置信息,“1”表示该第二CHO配置信息是全配置信息;或者,该指示信息可以是布尔值,如“FALSE”表示该第二CHO配置信息不是全配置信息,“TRUE”表示该第二CHO配置信息是全配置信息;或者,该第一指示信息有其他表示方式,本申请实施例对此不做限定。类似地,第二指示信息可以是二进制数值,如“0”表示该第二CHO配置信息是delta配置信息,“1”表示该第二CHO配置信息不是delta配置信息;或者,该指示信息可以是布尔值,如“FALSE”表示该第二CHO配置信息不是delta配置信息,“TRUE”表示该第二CHO配置信息是delta配置信息;或者,该第二指示信息有其他表示方式,本申请实施例对此不做限定。
需要说明的是,在该步骤S320中,终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切 换至第一目标小区,也可以理解为终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息来确定是否继续接入第一目标小区,或者确定是否继续与第一目标小区进行随机接入过程。在终端设备确定出第一目标小区后但不需要执行与第一目标小区的随机接入流程的情况下,终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切换至第一目标小区,也可以理解为终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息确定是否向第一目标小区发送RRC重配置完成消息。
终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息,确定是否继续切换至第一目标小区的方式有多种。
作为一个示例,如果该第二CHO配置信息是在第一CHO配置信息的基础上,用于对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过该候选小区)进行更改(例如添加/修改/删除)的信息,终端设备可以根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切换至第一目标小区。例如,如果终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,确定第一目标小区未发生变化,具体的,例如,第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数未发生变化,终端设备确定继续切换至第一目标小区。如果终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,确定第一目标小区发生变化,具体的,例如,第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数发生变化,终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息确定终端设备准备切换至的第三目标小区。换句话说,如果终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,确定第一目标小区发生变化,例如,确定第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数发生变化,终端设备确定不再继续切换至第一目标小区或者停止切换至第一目标小区或者停止与第一目标小区的随机接入过程。进一步地,终端设备可以根据最新的CHO配置信息,选择满足CHO配置信息的小区即第三目标小区,以尝试接入,其中,终端设备结合第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息来确定最新的CHO配置信息。可选地,第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数可以包括以下至少一项:第一目标小区对应的CHO触发条件,第一目标小区为终端设备分配的C-RNTI、接入第一目标小区所需的随机接入信道RACH资源、第一目标小区对应的资源信息(如物理层配置参数、MAC层配置参数、RLC层配置参数、PDCP层配置参数、SDAP层配置参数、RRC层配置参数等)等。
应理解,终端设备确定第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数未发生变化时,可以认为第一目标小区仍然满足CHO触发条件,该第一目标小区仍然是适合终端设备切换至的目标小区,因此,终端设备可以继续切换至第一目标小区,避免终端设备重新进行目标小区的确定、重新尝试接入满足CHO触发条件的目标小区等的流程,从而降低复杂度、节约终端设备的能耗。终端设备确定第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数发生变化时,第一目标小区可能不再是适合终端设备切换至的小区,终端设备可以根据变化后的最新的配置信息重新确定可以切换至的目标小区,避免终端设备切换至不合适的小区,或者,避免终端设备与第一目标小区的切换失败导致的业务中断,通过重新确定可以切换至的目标小区,从而提高条件切换的可靠性,提升切换成功率,保证系统性能。
进一步地,终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,确定第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数是否发生变化可以有多种方式。
终端设备确定第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数是否发生变化,可以包括:确定第一目标小区是否被删除,和/或,第一目标小区对应的CHO触发条件是否发生变化,和/或,第一目标小区的相关信息(例如,第一目标小区为终端设备分配的C-RNTI,和/或, 接入第一目标小区所需的随机接入信道RACH资源,和/或,第一目标小区对应的资源信息(如物理层配置参数、MAC层配置参数、RLC层配置参数、PDCP层配置参数、SDAP层配置参数、RRC层配置参数等))是否发生变化。
例如,终端设备可以根据第二CHO配置信息中是否包括第一目标小区的小区标识(例如CGI和/或PCI)、第一目标小区对应的索引(例如,第一CHO配置信息中包含该第一目标小区对应的索引)、第一目标小区对应的测量信息(例如测量频点或测量标识)或者其他可以用来标识第一目标小区的信息,来确定第一目标小区的配置参数是否发生变化。
或者,例如,终端设备可以结合第一CHO配置信息以及第二CHO配置信息来进行判断,例如,通过对比第一CHO配置信息以及第二CHO配置信息来判断第一目标小区对应的CHO配置信息(例如配置参数)是否发生变化。可选地,终端设备通过对比第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息判断第一目标小区对应的CHO配置信息(例如配置参数)是否发生变化,包括:判断第一目标小区是否被删除,和/或,判断第一目标小区对应的CHO触发条件是否发生变化,和/或,判断第一目标小区的相关信息是否发生变化,其中第一目标小区的相关信息参考上文描述,不再赘述。通过对比第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,终端设备一旦发现对应第一目标小区的任意一项参数发生变化,则,终端设备确定不再继续切换至第一目标小区,终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,进行后续操作,例如,终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,更新CHO配置信息,并可以存储更新后的CHO配置信息,进一步地,终端设备根据更新后的CHO配置信息进行目标小区的确定并尝试接入。
作为示例而非限定,若第二CHO配置信息中不包括第一目标小区的小区标识、第一目标小区对应的索引、第一目标小区对应的测量信息(例如测量频点或测量标识)、用来标识第一目标小区的信息以及与第一目标小区对应的参数信息等,终端设备可以确定第一目标小区的配置参数未发生变化,相应地,终端设备可以确定继续切换至第一目标小区。也就是说,第二CHO配置信息中不包括用于对第一目标小区或第一目标小区对应的配置参数进行增加/修改/删除的信息,终端设备可以认为第一目标小区仍然是适合终端设备切换至的小区,因此终端设备可以继续切换至第一目标小区。若第二CHO配置信息中包括第一目标小区的小区标识、第一目标小区对应的索引、第一目标小区对应的测量信息(例如测量频点或测量标识)、用于标识第一目标小区的信息以及与第一目标小区对应的参数信息中的任意一项或多项,终端设备可以确定第一目标小区的配置参数发生变化,相应地,终端设备可以确定不再继续切换至第一目标小区。也就是说,第二CHO配置信息中包括用于对第一目标小区或第一目标小区对应的配置参数进行增加/修改/删除的信息,终端设备可以认为第一目标小区可能不再是适合终端设备切换至的小区,因此终端设备确定不再继续切换至第一目标小区。
作为另一个示例,如果该第二CHO配置信息是网络设备向终端设备发送的CHO全配置信息,终端设备可以根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切换至第一目标小区。可选地,终端设备通过对比第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息判断第一目标小区对应的CHO配置信息(例如配置参数)是否发生变化,包括:判断第一目标小区是否被删除,和/或,判断第一目标小区对应的CHO触发条件是否发生变化,和/或,判断第一目标小区的相关信息是否发生变化,其中第一目标小区的相关信息参考上文 描述,不再赘述。通过对比第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,终端设备一旦发现对应第一目标小区的任意一项参数发生变化,则,终端设备确定不再继续切换至第一目标小区,终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息进行后续操作,例如,根据第二CHO配置信息进行CHO触发条件是否满足的判断,进而,确定可以切换至的目标小区并尝试接入。
例如,如果终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,确定第一目标小区未发生变化,具体的,例如,第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数未发生变化,终端设备确定继续切换至第一目标小区。如果终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,确定第一目标小区发生变化,具体的,例如第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数发生变化,终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息确定终端设备准备切换至的第三目标小区。如果终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,确定通过第二CHO配置信息配置的候选小区中不包括第一目标小区,具体的,例如第二CHO配置信息不包括第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数,终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息确定终端设备准备切换至的第三目标小区。换句话说,如果终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,确定第一目标小区发生变化(例如,确定第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数发生变化)或者确定网络设备通过第二CHO配置信息没有为终端设备配置第一目标小区为候选小区(例如,第二CHO配置信息不包括第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数),终端设备确定不再继续切换至第一目标小区或者停止切换至第一目标小区或者停止与第一目标小区的随机接入过程。进一步地,终端设备可以根据最新的CHO配置信息,选择满足CHO配置信息的小区即第三目标小区,以尝试接入,其中,终端设备接收到的第二CHO配置信息即为最新的CHO配置信息。
进一步地,终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,确定第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数是否发生变化可以有多种方式。
例如,终端设备可以根据第二CHO配置信息中是否包括第一目标小区的小区标识(例如CGI和/或PCI)、第一目标小区对应的索引或第一目标小区对应的测量信息(例如测量频点或测量标识)、用于标识第一目标小区的信息来确定第一目标小区的配置参数是否发生变化,或者终端设备可以根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息判断第一目标小区对应的CHO配置信息(例如配置参数)是否发生变化。
作为示例而非限定,若第二CHO配置信息中不包括第一目标小区的小区标识、第一目标小区对应的索引以及第一目标小区对应的测量信息(例如测量频点或测量标识)和用于标识第一目标小区的信息,终端设备可以确定网络设备通过第二CHO配置信息为终端设备配置的候选小区中不包括第一目标小区,相应地,终端设备可以确定不再继续切换至第一目标小区。也就是说,由于第二CHO配置信息是网络设备新发送的CHO全配置信息,若第二CHO配置信息中不包括已配置的第一目标小区对应CHO配置信息,终端设备可以认为网络设备此次没有为终端设备配置第一目标小区作为候选小区,进而可以认为第一目标小区可能不再是适合终端设备切换至的小区,因此终端设备确定不再继续切换至第一目标小区。
若第二CHO配置信息中包括第一目标小区的小区标识、第一目标小区对应的索引或第一目标小区对应的测量信息(例如测量频点或测量标识)或用于标识第一目标小区的信息中的一项或多项,且第二CHO配置信息中所包括的第一目标小区对应的其他的配置参 数与第一CHO配置信息中所包括的第一目标小区对应的其他的配置参数不同,终端设备可以确定网络设备通过第二CHO配置信息为终端设备配置的候选小区中包括第一目标小区,但第一目标小区的配置参数发生变化,相应地,终端设备可以确定不再继续切换至第一目标小区。也就是说,若第二CHO配置信息中包括已配置的第一目标小区对应的CHO配置信息,可以认为网络设备后续为终端设备配置的候选小区中仍然包括第一目标小区,但由于第一目标小区对应的配置参数发生变化,终端设备可以认为第一目标小区可能不再是适合终端设备切换至的小区,因此终端设备确定不再继续切换至第一目标小区。
若第二CHO配置信息中包括第一目标小区的小区标识、第一目标小区对应的索引以及第一目标小区对应的测量信息(例如测量频点或测量标识)、用于标识第一目标小区的信息中任意一项或多项,且第二CHO配置信息中所包括的第一目标小区对应的其他的配置参数与第一CHO配置信息中所包括的第一目标小区对应的其他的配置参数相同,终端设备可以确定网络设备通过第二CHO配置信息为终端设备配置的候选小区中包括第一目标小区,且第一目标小区的配置参数未发生变化,相应地,终端设备可以确定继续切换至第一目标小区。也就是说,若第二CHO配置信息中包括已配置的第一目标小区对应的CHO配置信息,可以认为网络设备后续为终端设备配置的候选小区中仍然包括第一目标小区,并且第一目标小区对应的配置参数未发生变化,终端设备可以认为第一目标小区仍然是适合终端设备切换至的小区,因此终端设备可以继续切换至第一目标小区。
再如,终端设备可以通过比较第二CHO配置信息中包含的一个或多个候选小区对应的CHO配置信息,以及第一CHO配置信息中包含的一个或多个候选小区对应的CHO配置信息(其中,CHO配置信息可以包括候选小区对应的CHO触发条件和/或候选小区对应的相关信息(例如,候选小区对应的相关信息参考上文描述,不再赘述),确定第一目标小区是否发生变化。例如,通过比较来判断第一目标小区对应的CHO触发条件是否发生变化,和/或,第一目标小区对应的配置参数(例如,第一目标小区为终端设备分配的C-RNTI,和/或,接入第一目标小区所需的随机接入信道RACH资源,和/或第一目标小区对应的资源信息(如物理层配置参数、MAC层配置参数、RLC层配置参数、PDCP层配置参数、SDAP层配置参数、RRC层配置参数等)等)是否发生变化,进而,确定第一目标小区是否发生变化。具体的,例如,第一目标小区对应的CHO触发条件发生变化,或者,第一目标小区对应的配置参数发生变化,则,可以确定第一目标小区发生变化。如果第一目标小区未发生变化,例如,第一目标小区的配置参数未发生变化,终端设备可以继续切换至第一目标小区。如果第一目标小区发生变化,例如第一目标小区的配置参数发生变化,终端设备可以不再继续切换至第一目标小区。
作为再一个示例,如果该第二CHO配置信息是网络设备向终端设备发送的CHO全配置信息,终端设备可以根据第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切换至第一目标小区。进一步地:

或者,另一种方式,终端设备接收到第二CHO配置信息后,就可以确定不继续切换至第一目标小区,并将第二CHO配置信息完全替换掉第一CHO配置信息(例如存储第二CHO配置信息,并删除之前存储的第一CHO配置信息),之后根据第二CHO配置信息确定终端设备准备切换至的小区。终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息确定出的准备切换至的小区(即第三目标小区)可能与第一目标小区为同一个小区,也可能是其他小区,不做限定。
又如,另一种方式,终端设备接收到第二CHO配置信息后,可以先继续进行切换至第一目标小区的流程,终端设备在与第一目标小区进行随机接入过程的同时(即终端设备确定出第一目标小区后但还未成功切换至第一目标小区之前),可以根据第二CHO配置信息进行CHO触发条件是否满足的判断,例如,根据第二CHO配置信息中包含的CHO触发条件,和/或,第二CHO配置信息中包含的候选小区的信息,判断通过第二CHO配置信息配置的候选小区是否满足CHO触发条件,进而,确定是否继续切换至第一目标小区。具体的,终端设备在与第一目标小区进行随机接入过程的同时(即终端设备确定出第一目标小区后但还未成功切换至第一目标小区之前),根据第二CHO配置信息,重新确定了终端设备可以切换至的小区(即第三目标小区),若该小区与第一目标小区为同一个小区,则终端设备可以确定继续切换至第一目标小区,即,终端设备可以继续与第一目标小区正在进行的随机接入过程;若该小区不同于第一目标小区,则终端设备可以确定不再继续切换至第一目标小区,相应地,终端设备可以尝试去切换至终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息重新确定的该小区(即第三目标小区)。
本申请实施例中,终端设备接收到第二CHO配置信息后,可以先暂停切换至第一目标小区,在终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息,或者根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息确定第一目标小区是否发生变化后,再确定是否继续切换至第一目标小区。在其他一些实施例中,终端设备接收到第二CHO配置信息后,可以继续进行切换至第一目标小区的流程,在终端设备未成功切换至第一目标小区之前,终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息,或者根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息确定第一目标小区是否发生变化后,再确定是否继续切换至第一目标小区。终端设备根据第二CHO配置信息,或者根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息确定第一目标小区是否发生变化的方式可以参考上文描述,在此不再赘述。
当终端设备确定继续切换至第一目标小区后,终端设备可以继续与第一目标小区的随机接入流程,但在某些情况下例如有物遮挡、终端设备快速移动、第一目标小区的信道衰落快等情况,终端设备可能不能成功切换至第一目标小区。
可选地,如果所述终端设备未能成功切换至所述第一目标小区时,方法300还包括:根据第二CHO配置信息或者根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,确定终端设备可以切换至的第二目标小区。
第二目标小区是终端设备与第一目标小区的切换流程失败后,又重新确定的尝试切换至的小区,该第二目标小区是网络设备为终端设备配置的候选小区中满足CHO触发条件 的一个小区。第二目标小区与第一目标小区可以相同,也可以不同。当终端设备向第一目标小区发起的切换失败时,终端设备可以根据网络设备配置的CHO配置信息重新确定终端设备可以切换至的第二目标小区,从而使得终端设备能够切换至合适的目标小区,保证业务连续。
终端设备确定第二目标小区的方式有多种。
作为一个示例,第二CHO配置信息是在第一CHO配置信息的基础上,用于对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过该候选小区)进行更改(例如添加/修改/删除)的信息,终端设备如果未能成功切换至第一目标小区,则,终端设备可以根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息确定第二目标小区。具体地,第二CHO配置信息可以用于进行新的候选小区的添加,和/或,对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过的候选小区)的配置参数进行修改,和/或,对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过的候选小区)进行删除。
相应的,终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,进行配置参数的更改。例如,在第一CHO配置信息的基础上,如果第二CHO配置信息用于添加新的候选小区,则终端设备进行新的候选小区的添加,包括增加新的候选小区对应的CHO触发条件和/或增加新的候选小区的相关信息等;如果第二CHO配置信息用于对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过该候选小区)进行配置信息的修改,则终端设备可以将已配置过的候选小区对应的触发条件和/或已配置过的候选小区的相关信息修改成该已配置过的候选小区修改之后对应的CHO触发条件和/或修改之后对应的相关信息;如果第二CHO配置信息用于对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过该候选小区)进行删除,则终端设备可以删除已经配置过的该候选小区对应的CHO触发条件和/或删除已经配置过的该候选小区的相关信息,和/或删除已经配置过的该候选小区对应的测量标识、测量频点等。换句话说,终端设备如果未能成功切换至第一目标小区,则,终端设备可以根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息确定最新的CHO配置信息(即更新后的CHO配置信息),终端设备根据最新的CHO配置信息确定第二目标小区。
作为另一个示例,该第二CHO配置信息是网络设备向终端设备发送的CHO全配置信息,由于第二CHO配置信息与第一CHO配置信息是解耦、独立的,终端设备如果未能成功切换至第一目标小区,则,终端设备可以根据第二CHO配置信息确定第二目标小区。终端设备可以根据第二CHO配置信息进行CHO触发条件是否满足的判断,例如,根据第二CHO配置信息中包含的CHO触发条件,和/或,第二CHO配置信息中包含的候选小区的信息,判断CHO触发条件是否满足,从通过第二CHO配置信息配置的候选小区中确定第二目标小区。
上文提到,如果第一目标小区发生变化,例如,第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数发生变化时,终端设备可以根据第二CHO配置信息或者根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息确定终端设备可以切换至的第三目标小区。
第三目标小区是在第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数发生变化时终端设备重新确定的准备切换至的小区,该第三目标小区可以是网络设备为终端设备配置的候选小区中满足CHO触发条件的一个小区。第三目标小区与第一目标小区可以相同,也可以不同。
终端设备确定第三目标小区的方式有多种。终端设备确定第三目标小区的方式与确定第二目标小区的方式相同,下面仅简要描述,详细内容可参考上文确定第二目标小区的描述。
作为一个示例,该第二CHO配置信息是在第一CHO配置信息的基础上,用于对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过该候选小区)进行更改(例如添加/修改/删除)的信息,终端设备可以根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息确定第三目标小区。具体地,第二CHO配置信息可以用于进行新的候选小区的添加,和/或,对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过的候选小区)的配置参数进行修改,和/或,对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过的候选小区)进行删除。
相应的,终端设备根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,进行配置参数的更改。换句话说,终端设备可以根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息确定最新的CHO配置信息(即更新后的CHO配置信息),终端设备根据最新的CHO配置信息确定第三目标小区。
作为另一个示例,该第二CHO配置信息是网络设备向终端设备发送的CHO全配置信息,由于第二CHO配置信息与第一CHO配置信息是解耦、独立的,终端设备可以根据第二CHO配置信息确定第三目标小区。终端设备可以根据第二CHO配置信息进行CHO触发条件是否满足的判断,例如,根据第二CHO配置信息中包含的CHO触发条件,和/或,第二CHO配置信息中包含的候选小区的信息,判断CHO触发条件是否满足,从通过第二CHO配置信息配置的候选小区中确定第三目标小区。
可选地,第一CHO配置信息和/或第二CHO配置信息可以是承载于无线资源控制RRC消息中。换句话说,网络设备通过RRC消息向终端设备发送第一CHO配置信息和/或第二CHO配置信息。RRC消息可以是现有的RRC消息例如RRC重配置消息,也可以是新定义的RRC消息,本申请实施例不做具体限定。
下面结合图4,更加详细地描述本申请实施例的一些具体的非限制性的例子。图4中以源网络设备为源基站、终端设备为UE为例进行说明。该方法400可以包括步骤S410至步骤S450。
需要说明的是,为避免信令开销,CHO机制中,假定网络设备最多可以为终端设备配置的候选小区的个数为N,N为正整数。为方便理解,本申请实施例以N大于3、网络设备为终端设备首次配置两个候选小区(小区#1和小区#2)为例。应理解,网络设备为终端设备最终配置的候选小区的个数x应大于等于1且小于等于N。
在步骤S410,源基站向UE发送第一消息,该第一消息包括网络设备为终端设备配置的第一CHO配置信息,该第一CHO配置信息包括网络设备为终端设备配置的各个候选小区所对应的CHO配置信息。其中,候选小区所对应的CHO配置信息可以包括候选小区对应的CHO触发条件和/或候选小区对应的相关信息(例如,候选小区对应的相关信息包含该候选小区的小区标识、该候选小区对应的频率信息、该候选小区为终端设备分配的C-RNTI、接入该候选小区所需的随机接入信道RACH资源信息等中的至少一项)、该候选小区对应的资源信息(如物理层配置参数、MAC层配置参数、RLC层配置参数、PDCP层配置参数、SDAP层配置参数、RRC层配置参数等)等。
图4中示例性的示出了两个候选小区即小区#1(cell1)和小区#2(cell2)。第一消息包括cell1对应的CHO配置信息和cell2对应的CHO配置信息,也即第一CHO配置信息包括cell1对应的CHO配置信息和cell2对应的CHO配置信息。
第一消息可以是RRC消息,具体的,该第一消息可以重用现有的RRC消息,例如RRC重配置消息,该第一消息中可以包含用于添加或修改某个/某些候选小区的相关CHO配置信息的信元,例如增加修改列表(ToAddModList)信元;或者,该第一消息可以是新定义的RRC消息,例如,该第一消息是条件无线资源控制重配置(CondRRCReconfiguration)消息,或者是其他命名/表达形式,本申请实施例不做具体限定。
作为一种示例,以该第一消息为新定义的RRC消息(如CondRRCReconfiguration消息)为例,进行说明。该第一消息可以包括重配置增加修改列表(cond reconfiguration to add mod list或CondReconfigurationToAddModList)信元,用于进行相应的候选小区的CHO配置信息的添加、修改。进一步地,该重配置增加修改列表信元中包括与cell1对应的重配置(cond reconfiguration或CondReconfiguration)信元、与cell2对应的重配置(cond reconfiguration或CondReconfiguration)信元。与cell1对应的CondReconfiguration信元承载着cell1对应的CHO配置信息,与cell2对应的CondReconfiguration信元承载着cell2对应的CHO配置信息。换句话说,可以用CondReconfiguration信元来承载CHO配置信息,其中各个候选小区对应的CHO配置信息可以承载在各自对应的CondReconfiguration信元中。
作为示例而非限定,该新定义的RRC消息(如CondRRCReconfiguration消息)可以采用如下消息结构/ASN.1编码形式,但应理解,下述消息结构形式也适用于其他形式的第一消息。

在步骤S420,UE根据第一消息确定小区#1为目标小区,该目标小区为终端设备准备切换至的小区。
本申请实施例中,目标小区(即小区#1)例如可以是满足CHO触发条件的多个候选小区中的小区信号质量最高的小区,或者是满足CHO触发条件的多个候选小区中的优先级最高(如频率优先级最高)的小区,或者是满足CHO触发条件的多个候选小区中拥有最多优良波束(优良波束指的是波束的信号质量高于某预定门限值,该预定门限值可以包含在第一消息中,或者是协议约定的,本申请不做限定)的小区,或者是满足CHO触发条件的多个候选小区中的任一小区,或者满足其他条件的小区,本实施例不做限定。
在步骤S430,UE选择小区#1作为目标小区后,UE尝试接入小区#1。在UE尝试接入小区#1时,UE接收源基站发送的第二消息,第二消息包括第二CHO配置信息。
UE尝试接入cell1的过程,包括:UE在向cell1发送前导码之前;和/或UE与cell1进行RACH的过程中。示例性的,UE尝试接入cell1的过程具体可以包括:UE在向cell1发送前导码之前;和/或,在UE向cell1发送前导码之后至UE接收随机接入响应RAR之前;和/或,在UE接收RAR之后至UE向cell1发送RRC重配置完成消息之前;和/或,在UE向cell1发送前导码之后至UE向cell1发送RRC重配置完成消息之前。或者,在UE确定出cell1后但不执行与cell1的随机接入流程的情况下,可选地,UE尝试接入cell1的过程包括:UE向cell1发送RRC重配置完成消息之前。
第二消息可以是RRC消息,具体的,该第二消息可以重用现有的RRC消息,例如RRC重配置消息,该第二消息中可以包含用于添加或修改某个/某些候选小区的相关CHO配置信息的信元,例如ToAddModList信元,和/或,该第二消息中可以包含用于删除某个/某些候选小区的相关CHO配置信息的信元,例如ToRemoveList信元;或者,该第二消息可以是新定义的RRC消息,例如,该第二消息是CondRRCReconfiguration消息,或者是其他命名/表达形式,本申请实施例不做具体限定。
为方便理解,本申请实施例中,仅仅以网络设备分别通过RRC消息(例如现有的RRC消息或新定义的RRC消息)向终端设备发送第一CHO配置信息、第二CHO配置信息为例进行描述,其中第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息可以通过ToAddModList信元和/或ToRemoveList信元承载。在其他的实施例中,网络设备还可以通过其他消息、资源或其他方式为终端设备提供CHO配置信息,本申请实施例中UE根据配置信息进行处理的方法(例如图4中的步骤S440至步骤S450)同样适用。
为方便理解,本申请实施例中,以第二CHO配置信息是在第一CHO配置信息的基础上,用于对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过该候选小区)进行更改(例如添加/修改/删除)的信息为例进行说明。例如,第二CHO配置信息可 以用于进行新的候选小区的添加,和/或,对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过的候选小区)的配置参数进行修改,和/或,对已经配置过的候选小区(例如,通过第一CHO配置信息已经配置过的候选小区)进行删除,下面将分情况讨论。
情况一
在步骤S430a,源基站向UE发送承载有第二CHO配置信息的第二消息,其中第二CHO配置信息包含cell1对应的CHO配置信息。也就是说,第二CHO配置信息用于对第一CHO配置信息已经配置过的候选小区cell1对应的CHO配置信息进行修改。
作为一种示例,以该第二消息为新定义的RRC消息(如CondRRCReconfiguration消息)为例,进行说明。具体地,该第二消息可以包括CondReconfigurationToAddModList信元,进一步地,该CondReconfigurationToAddModList信元中包括与cell1对应的CondReconfiguration信元。该与cell1对应的CondReconfiguration信元承载着cell1对应的修改后的CHO配置信息。
可选地,第二CHO配置信息中还可以包含新增候选小区对应的CHO配置信息。为方便理解,本申请实施例以新增候选小区为cell3为例,则第二CHO配置信息不仅用于修改通过第一CHO配置信息配置过的cell1对应的CHO配置信息,还用于添加cell3对应的CHO配置信息。换句话说,网络设备除了要修改cell1对应的CHO配置信息,还要添加其他的小区作为CHO的候选小区。
具体地,该第二消息可以包括CondReconfigurationToAddModList信元,进一步地,该CondReconfigurationToAddModList信元中除了包括与cell1对应的CondReconfiguration信元,还包括与cell3对应的CondReconfiguration信元。与cell1对应的CondReconfiguration信元承载着cell1对应的修改后的CHO配置信息,与cell3对应的CondReconfiguration信元承载着新增候选小区cell3对应的CHO配置信息。
在步骤S440a,UE判断目标小区是否发生变化。
UE接收到第二CHO配置信息后,根据第二CHO配置信息判断步骤S420中确定出来的目标小区即cell1是否发生变化,例如判断cell1对应的CHO配置信息是否发生变化,进而,确定是否继续切换至cell1。具体的,判断cell1对应的CHO配置信息是否发生变化的方法,可以参考上文关于“确定第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数是否发生变化”的各种方式,在此不再赘述。具体的,例如,UE根据第二CHO配置信息确定cell1发生变化。
在步骤S450a,UE确定目标小区发生变化后,UE确定不再继续接入cell1,UE根据UE根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,进行CHO配置信息的更新,UE可以存储更新后的CHO配置信息,且UE根据更新后的CHO配置信息重新进行CHO触发条件是否满足的判断,进而确定目标小区。
UE不再继续接入cell1,包括:如果UE还未向cell1发送前导码,则UE不向cell1发送前导码;如果UE正在跟cell1进行RACH流程,则UE停止与cell1正在进行的RACH过程。具体地,如果UE还未向cell1发送前导码,则UE不向cell1发送前导码;如果UE已经向cell1发送前导码但处于等待接收随机接入响应RAR,则UE不再接收RAR;如果UE已经接收RAR,但未向cell1发送RRC重配置完成消息,则UE不向cell1发送RRC 重配置完成消息;如果在UE确定出cell1后不执行与cell1的随机接入流程(即RACH-less切换),UE停止与cell1正在进行的RACH过程,包括:在UE确定出cell1后,UE不向cell1发送RRC重配置完成消息。
UE根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,进行CHO配置信息的更新,包括:UE根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,对已经配置过的候选小区进行修改/更新,例如修改/更新cell1对应的CHO配置信息;或者UE根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,进行新的候选小区的添加,例如,除了更新cell1对应的CHO配置信息,网络设备还提供cell3对应的CHO配置信息,则UE除了修改cell1对应的CHO配置信息,还将cell3添加为候选小区,即添加cell3对应的CHO配置信息,存储cell3对应的CHO配置信息。
UE根据更新后的CHO配置信息,停止与cell1的随机接入过程,且UE可以重新寻找满足CHO触发条件的目标小区,UE重新确定的目标小区可以仍为cell1,也可以是候选小区中除cell1外其他的满足CHO触发条件的小区。
情况二
在步骤S430b,源基站向UE发送承载有第二CHO配置信息的第二消息,该第二消息用于删除cell1(或者,用于删除cell1对应的CHO配置信息)。可选的,第二CHO配置信息包含cell1对应的小区索引、cell1对应的小区标识(例如CGI和/或PCI)、cell1对应的测量信息(例如测量频点或测量标识)或cell1对应的CHO配置信息或其他可以用来标识cell1的信息中的任意一项或多项。
作为一种示例,以该第二消息为新定义的RRC消息(如CondRRCReconfiguration消息)为例,进行说明。具体地,该第二消息可以包括重配置删除列表(cond reconfiguration to remove list或CondReconfigurationToRemoveList)信元,进一步地,该重配置删除列表信元包括与cell1对应的小区索引、cell1对应的小区标识、cell1对应的测量信息或cell1对应的CHO配置信息或其他可以用来标识cell1的信息中的任意一项或多项。
与cell1对应的小区索引(cellIndex)可以是网络设备在为UE提供cell1对应的CHO配置信息时提供的,例如第一消息中可以包括cell1对应的小区索引;与cell1对应的小区索引也可以是按照预设规则确定的,例如按照初始配置的顺序确定小区索引,第一消息中第一个配置的小区对应的小区索引为1,第二个配置的小区对应的小区索引为2,依此类推。
cell1对应的小区标识可以包括cell1的PCI和/或cell1的CGI,cell1对应的小区标识还可以包括cell1对应的频率信息。
与cell1对应的测量信息,可以包括测量标识(measure identification,MeasID)和/或测量频点(measure object,MeasObject)。测量标识和测量频点可以是网络设备在为UE提供CHO配置信息时提供的,每个候选小区有与之对应的测量标识和测量频点,即候选小区与测量标识/测量频点一一对应。可选的,与cell1对应的测量信息,还可以包括上报配置信息(如,ReportConfig)。
可选地,第二CHO配置信息中还可以包含除cell1外的其他候选小区对应的小区索引、小区标识、测量信息或CHO配置信息或其他可以用来标识候选小区的信息,即第二CHO配置信息不仅可以用于删除cell1对应的CHO配置信息,还用于删除除cell1外的其他已 经配置过的候选小区对应的CHO配置信息。
在步骤S440b,UE判断目标小区是否发生变化。
UE接收到第二CHO配置信息后,根据第二CHO配置信息判断步骤S420中确定出来的目标小区即cell1是否发生变化,例如判断cell1对应的CHO配置信息是否发生变化,进而,确定是否继续切换至cell1。具体的,判断cell1对应的CHO配置信息是否发生变化的方法,可以参考上文关于“确定第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数是否发生变化”的各种方式,不再赘述。具体地,例如,UE根据第二CHO配置信息确定cell1被删除,换句话说,UE根据第二CHO配置信息确定cell1发生变化。
在步骤S450b,UE确定目标小区发生变化后,UE确定不再继续接入cell1,UE根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,进行CHO配置信息的更新,UE可以存储更新后的CHO配置信息,且UE根据更新后的CHO配置信息重新进行CHO触发条件是否满足的判断,进而确定目标小区。
UE不再继续接入cell1,包括:如果UE还未向cell1发送前导码,则UE不向cell1发送前导码;如果UE正在跟cell1进行RACH流程,则UE停止与cell1正在进行的RACH过程。具体地,“UE停止与cell1正在进行的RACH过程”的具体方式可参照步骤S450a中的相关描述,不再赘述。
UE根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,进行CHO配置信息的更新,包括:UE根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,对已经配置过的候选小区进行删除,例如删除cell1(或,删除cell1对应的CHO配置信息,即UE将cell1对应的CHO配置信息从UE存储的CHO配置信息中删除),如果CondReconfigurationToRemoveList信元中还包含除cell1外其他的候选小区对应的小区索引、小区标识、测量信息或CHO配置信息或其他可以用来标识候选小区的信息,则除了删除cell1,UE还将删除CondReconfigurationToRemoveList信元指示的其他的候选小区(或,删除CondReconfigurationToRemoveList信元指示的其他的候选小区对应的CHO配置信息)。应理解,UE删除某小区(如cell1)对应的CHO配置信息,可以理解为UE将该小区(如cell1)从CHO的候选小区列表中排除,即UE不再判断该小区是否满足CHO触发条件,或者,UE不再尝试切换至接入该小区。
UE根据更新后的CHO配置信息,停止与cell1的随机接入过程,且UE可以重新寻找满足CHO触发条件的目标小区,UE重新确定的目标小区可以是候选小区中除cell1外其他的满足CHO触发条件的小区。
情况三
在步骤S430c,源基站向UE发送承载有第二CHO配置信息的第二消息,其中第二CHO配置信息包含cell2对应的CHO配置信息。也就是说,第二CHO配置信息用于对第一CHO配置信息已经配置过的候选小区cell2对应的CHO配置信息进行修改。
作为一种示例,以该第二消息为新定义的RRC消息(如CondRRCReconfiguration消息)为例,进行说明。具体地,该第二消息可以包括CondReconfigurationToAddModList信元,进一步地,该CondReconfigurationToAddModList信元中包括与cell2对应的CondReconfiguration信元。该与cell2对应的CondReconfiguration信元承载着cell2对应的修改后的CHO配置信息。
可选地,第二CHO配置信息中还可以包含新增候选小区对应的CHO配置信息。为方便理解,本申请实施例以新增候选小区为cell3为例,则第二CHO配置信息不仅用于修改通过第一CHO配置信息中配置过的cell2对应的CHO配置信息,还用于添加cell3对应的CHO配置信息。换句话说,网络设备除了要修改cell2对应的CHO配置信息,还要添加其他的小区作为CHO的候选小区。
具体地,该第二消息可以包括CondReconfigurationToAddModList信元,进一步地,该CondReconfigurationToAddModList信元中除了包括与cell2对应的CondReconfiguration信元,还包含与cell3对应的CondReconfiguration信元。与cell2对应的CondReconfiguration信元承载着cell2对应的修改后的CHO配置信息,与cell3对应的CondReconfiguration信元承载着新增候选小区cell3对应的CHO配置信息。
在步骤S440c,UE判断目标小区是否发生变化。
UE接收到第二CHO配置信息后,根据第二CHO配置信息判断步骤S420中确定出来的目标小区即cell1是否发生变化,例如判断cell1对应的CHO配置信息是否发生变化。进而,确定是否继续切换至cell1。具体的,判断cell1对应的CHO配置信息是否发生变化的方法,可以参考上文关于“确定第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数是否发生变化”的各种方式,不再赘述。具体的,例如,UE根据第二CHO配置信息确定cell1未发生变化。
在步骤S450c,UE确定目标小区未发生变化后,UE继续切换至小区#1(即cell1),UE根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,进行CHO配置信息的更新,UE可以存储更新后的CHO配置信息。
UE继续切换至cell1,包括:如果UE还未向cell1发送前导码,则UE向cell1发送前导码;如果UE正在跟cell1进行RACH流程,则UE继续与cell1进行RACH过程,具体地,如果UE已经向cell1发送前导码,则UE等待接收随机接入响应RAR;如果UE已经接收RAR,则UE向cell1发送RRC重配置完成消息。如果是RACH-less切换(在UE确定出cell1后不执行与cell1的随机接入流程),UE继续切换至cell1,包括:UE向cell1发送RRC重配置完成消息。
UE根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,进行CHO配置信息的更新,包括:UE可以对已经配置过的候选小区对应的CHO配置信息进行修改,例如修改cell2对应的CHO配置信息;和/或,UE进行新的候选小区的添加,例如,如果网络设备还提供cell3对应的CHO配置信息,则UE将cell3添加为候选小区,即添加cell3对应的CHO配置信息,存储cell3对应的CHO配置信息。
可选地,若UE成功接入cell1(即UE成功切换至cell1),UE可以释放存储的除目标小区(即cell1)以外的其他所有候选小区对应的CHO配置信息。
可选地,若UE未能成功接入cell1(即UE未能成功切换至cell1),UE根据更新后的CHO配置信息重新确定目标小区。
情况四
在步骤S430d,源基站向UE发送承载有第二CHO配置信息的第二消息,该第二消息用于删除cell2(或者,用于删除cell2对应的CHO配置信息)。可选的第二CHO配置信息包含cell2对应的小区索引、cell2对应的小区标识(例如CGI和/或PCI)、cell2对应 的测量信息(例如测量频点或测量标识)或cell2对应的CHO配置信息或其他可以用来标识cell2的信息中的任意一项或多项。

其中,“UE继续切换至cell1”的具体方式可参照步骤S450c中的相关描述,不再赘述。UE根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,进行CHO配置信息的更新,包括:UE根据第一CHO配置信息和第二CHO配置信息,对已经配置过的候选小区进行删除,例如删除cell2(或,删除cell1对应的CHO配置信息,即UE将cell1对应的CHO配置信息从UE存储的CHO配置信息中删除);如果CondReconfigurationToRemoveList信元中还包含除cell1和cell2外其他的候选小区对应的小区索引、小区标识、测量信息或CHO 配置信息或其他可以用来标识候选小区的信息,则除了删除cell2,UE还将删除CondReconfigurationToRemoveList信元指示的其他的候选小区(或,删除CondReconfigurationToRemoveList信元指示的其他的候选小区对应的CHO配置信息)。应理解,UE删除某小区(如cell2)对应的CHO配置信息,可以理解为UE将该小区(如cell2)从CHO的候选小区列表中排除,即UE不再判断该小区是否满足CHO触发条件,或者,UE不再尝试切换至接入该小区。
可选地,若UE成功接入cell1(即UE成功切换至cell1),UE可以释放存储的除目标小区(即cell1)以外的其他所有候选小区对应的CHO配置信息。
可选地,若UE未能成功接入cell1(即UE未能成功切换至cell1),UE根据更新后的CHO配置信息重新确定目标小区。
需要说明的是,第二CHO配置信息可以承载于信元中,在一些实施例中,第二CHO配置信息中包括的候选小区对应的修改后的CHO配置信息和增加的候选小区对应的CHO配置信息可以承载于同一信元中,例如上述提及的CondReconfigurationToAddModList信元中,第二CHO配置信息中包括的用于删除候选小区对应的CHO配置信息的信息可以承载于其他信元中,例如上述提及的CondReconfigurationToRemoveList信元中。在另一些实施例中,第二CHO配置信息中包括的候选小区对应的修改后的CHO配置信息、增加的候选小区对应的CHO配置信息、用于删除候选小区对应的CHO配置信息的信息可以分别承载于不同的信元中,例如候选小区对应的修改后的CHO配置信息可以承载于重配置修改列表(CondReconfigurationToModList)信元中,增加的候选小区对应的CHO配置信息承载于重配置新增列表(CondReconfigurationToAddList)信元中,用于删除候选小区对应的CHO配置信息的信息承载于重配置删除列表(CondReconfigurationToRemoveList)信元中,本申请实施例不做具体限定。具体的信元配置形式可以由网络根据需要确定。
本申请实施例中,作为一种示例,在UE尝试接入已经确定出的目标小区的过程中(例如UE在向目标小区发送前导码前或UE在与目标小区进行RACH的过程中),如果网络侧修改/删除该目标小区的相关配置,则UE停止与该目标小区的RACH流程,修改/删除该目标小区对应的CHO配置信息,UE根据更新后的CHO配置信息,重新进行新的目标小区的选择、新的目标小区的接入等后续流程。作为另一种示例,在UE尝试接入已经确定出的目标小区的过程中(例如UE在向目标小区发送前导码前或UE在与目标小区进行RACH的过程中),如果网络侧修改/删除其他候选小区(非目标小区)对应的CHO配置信息,则UE可以继续与目标小区的RACH流程,且修改/删除其他候选小区所对应的CHO配置信息。本申请实施例提供的技术方案中,UE可以根据网络发送的CHO配置信息,进行正确的处理,从而可以使UE与网络侧的理解和行为保持一致,进而提高条件切换的可靠性,提升系统性能。
可以理解的是,以上各个方法实施例中,由终端设备实现的操作也可以由可配置于终端设备的部件(例如芯片或者电路)实现,由网络设备实现的操作也可以由可配置于网络设备的部件(例如芯片或者电路)实现。
上文结合图1至图4详细的描述了本申请实施例的方法实施例,下面结合图5至图6,详细描述本申请实施例的装置实施例。应理解,方法实施例的描述与装置实施例的描述相互对应,因此,未详细描述的部分可以参见前面方法实施例。
图5是本申请实施例提供的通信装置的示意性结构图。图5中的通信装置500可以是图1中的终端设备120的一个具体的例子。图5所示的通信装置500可以用于执行图3的方法,并且可以具体实现图4所示的实施例,为避免冗余,不再重复描述。
图5所示的通信装置500包括第一处理模块510和第二处理模块520。
第一处理模块510,用于根据第一条件切换CHO配置信息确定第一目标小区,所述第一目标小区为终端设备准备切换至的小区。
第二处理模块520,用于在尝试接入所述第一目标小区的过程中,如果接收到第二CHO配置信息,根据所述第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切换至所述第一目标小区;其中,所述在尝试接入所述第一目标小区的过程中,包括:在向所述第一目标小区发送前导码之前;和/或,在与所述第一目标小区进行随机接入RACH的过程中。
可选地,第二处理模块520具体用于根据所述第二CHO配置信息确定所述第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数未发生变化,确定继续切换至所述第一目标小区。
可选地,如果所述通信装置500未能成功切换至所述第一目标小区时,第一处理模块510还用于根据所述第二CHO配置信息,或者,根据所述第一CHO配置信息和所述第二CHO配置信息确定所述通信装置500准备切换至的第二目标小区。
可选地,第二处理模块520具体用于根据所述第二CHO配置信息确定所述第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数发生变化,根据所述第二CHO配置信息或者根据所述第一CHO配置信息和所述第二CHO配置信息确定所述通信装置500准备切换至的第三目标小区。

其中,处理器602可以是中央处理器单元,通用处理器,数字信号处理器,专用集成电路,现场可编程门阵列或者其他可编程逻辑器件、晶体管逻辑器件、硬件部件或者其任意组合。其可以实现或执行结合本申请公开内容所描述的各种示例性的逻辑方框,模块和电路。所述处理器也可以是实现计算功能的组合,例如包含一个或多个微处理器组合,数字信号处理器和微处理器的组合等等。通信接口603可以是收发器、电路、总线、模块或其它类型的通信接口。总线604可以是外设部件互连标准(peripheral component interconnect,PCI)总线或扩展工业标准结构(extended industry standard architecture,EISA)总线等。所述总线可以分为地址总线、数据总线、控制总线等。为便于表示,图6中仅用一条粗线表示,但并不表示仅有一根总线或一种类型的总线。

  1. 一种切换方法,其特征在于,包括:
    根据第一条件切换CHO配置信息确定第一目标小区,所述第一目标小区为终端设备准备切换至的小区;
    在尝试接入所述第一目标小区的过程中,如果接收到第二CHO配置信息,根据所述第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切换至所述第一目标小区;
    其中,所述在尝试接入所述第一目标小区的过程中,包括:
    在向所述第一目标小区发送前导码之前;和/或,
    在与所述第一目标小区进行随机接入RACH的过程中。
  2. 根据权利要求1所述的切换方法,其特征在于,所述根据所述第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切换至所述第一目标小区,包括:
    根据所述第二CHO配置信息确定所述第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数未发生变化,确定继续切换至所述第一目标小区。
  3. 根据权利要求1或2所述的切换方法,其特征在于,如果所述终端设备未能成功切换至所述第一目标小区,所述方法还包括:
    根据所述第二CHO配置信息,或者,根据所述第一CHO配置信息和所述第二CHO配置信息,确定所述终端设备准备切换至的第二目标小区。
  4. 根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的切换方法,其特征在于,所述根据所述第二CHO配置信息确定是否继续切换至所述第一目标小区,包括:
    根据所述第二CHO配置信息确定所述第一目标小区对应的CHO配置参数发生变化,根据所述第二CHO配置信息,或者,根据所述第一CHO配置信息和所述第二CHO配置信息,确定所述终端设备准备切换至的第三目标小区。
  5. 根据权利要求1至4中任一项所述的切换方法,其特征在于,所述第一CHO配置信息和/或所述第二CHO配置信息承载于无线资源控制RRC消息中。
  6. 一种终端设备,其特征在于,包括用于执行如权利要求1至5中任一项所述的方法的模块。
  7. 一种通信装置,其特征在于,包括:处理器,与存储器耦合,用于执行所述存储器中的程序,使得所述通信装置执行如权利要求1至5中任一项所述的方法。
  8. 一种计算机可读存储介质,其特征在于,存储有计算机可执行指令,所述计算机可执行指令设置为执行如权利要求1至5中任一项所述的方法。
