Abstract

The present invention describes a two-way device for measuring electricity consumption, with an anti-theft system for monitoring an alternative energy source, the device being formed by: a two-way meter connected to the Internet via a wireless network and to neighbouring meters by means of a mesh topology network; an external sensor module; and presence and movement sensors, optical barriers and microswitches positioned so as to detect alterations in the installations of the alternative energy source.
