Abstract

Selon la présente invention, un procédé de traitement vidéo consiste à déterminer un vecteur de bloc pour une conversion entre un bloc vidéo actuel d'une image actuelle d'une donnée multimédia visuelle et une représentation de flux binaire du bloc vidéo actuel, la validité du vecteur de bloc étant indépendante de (1) un emplacement (P, Q) d'un bloc d'échantillon et/ou (2) du fait qu'un échantillon à l'emplacement (P, Q) est reconstruit ou non, et/ou (3) d'un emplacement du bloc vidéo actuel. Le vecteur de bloc représente un déplacement de pixel entre le bloc vidéo actuel et le bloc échantillon. Le procédé consiste à réaliser, à l'aide du vecteur de bloc, la conversion dans un mode de copie intra-bloc.
