Additionally, the aerosolization device 1500 may include a foam pad 1504 that is designed to help maintain the aerosolization device 1500 at a proper position and orientation with the infant, regardless of the movement or orientation (back, side, stomach) of the infant. The foam pad 1504 may include multiple layers of peel able foam, allowing the layers to be peeled off and/or otherwise removed to adjust a distance between the aerosolization device 1500 and the infant’s head. Oftentimes, the foam pad 1504 may include a curved surface that is designed to match or substantially match a contour of the infant’s head. The aerosolization device 1500 may be constructed of sufficiently light materials (such as medical-grade plastic foam) that allow the infant to move around without causing the aerosolization device 1500 to shift out of proper position.
