This invention relates to a waste management mechanism (1) which minimizes the water quantity of the mud masses that exits from many fields as a waste material such as iron and steel, mine industry, concrete plant, waste treatment plants etc., transfers dewatered mud to recycling or facilitates disposal of this mud and minimizes loss of labor force and cash.

Description

A WASTE MANAGEMENT MECHANISM
Technical Field
This invention relates to a waste management mechanism which minimizes the water quantity of the mud masses that exits from many fields as a waste material such as iron and steel, mine industry, concrete plant, waste treatment plants etc., transfers dewatered mud to recycling process or facilitates the disposal of this mud and minimizes loss of labor force and cash costs.
Present State of the Art
The waste management is a difficult and costly process for many industries for example particularly Iron and Steel, Mining, Concrete Plant and Waste Treatment Plants. While the waste types that emerge from mentioned sectors has many characteristics, one of the most important of these types is dirty water waste which emerges during production process. This dirty water that emerged out of the production process is gathered within a pool in the current systems. The dirty water transferred into the pool in a waste form is converted into a mud because it has raw material fragments, dust, and smut etc. components within itself. In other words, the mud pools are formed. In order to recycle the waste in the current mud pools, there are various mechanisms which are required to be used. Primarily there are mud collection arms and mud separation mechanism from the residue channel. Both mechanisms consume high energy; they are the units which are required to operate 7/24.
Since mud due to its nature is an abrasive material, it abrades these two mechanisms and causes them to lose their operational functions. Both of the mechanisms lead to problems in the connection mechanisms besides the abrasion problem, it increases maintenance and repair costs in time and energy dimension. The maintenance of the current systems makes it necessary to spend a long time during maintenance due to both the huge sizes of the system and the mechanisms used.
Also, due to the huge size of the pool, in order to discharge the muddy water within the pool, the plants are stopped or prefer a different way for storing the mud. In both cases, maintenance costs in the plant are high too. As the same, in blind spots due to the geometric form of the current pools, mud is accumulated and the hardness level of the mud increases and in time the mud within the pool petrifies. In order to eliminate these formations during maintenance process, a serious labor force occurs and also distortions occur during maintenance. This situation leads to losses in terms of both time and quality while using separated water and mud in recycling.
In patent application with document No TR2013/14750 included within the literature, a mud dewatering machine is disclosed. Said machine pasteurized the waste mud with 25-30 % dry substance ratio in dewatering unit by means of drying it up to 90-95 % dry substance ratio and the waste water steam with 70-75 % is not disposed to the environment, it is kept by condensation. The related machine has configurations which is different from the waste management mechanism subject to the present invention.
As a result, due to the above mentioned disadvantages and insufficiency of current solutions in terms of the subject matter, it is required to make a development in the relevant technical field.
Aim of the Invention
The invention is created by being inspired from the current conditions and aims to solve the above mentioned problems.
The aim of the invention is to facilitate minimizing the water content of the mud masses that emerge as a waste material, transferring dewatered mud to recycling or disposing this mud.
Another aim of this invention is to minimize time, labor force and cash losses.
The structural and characteristic features of the present invention will be understood clearly by the following drawings and the detailed description made with reference to these drawings and therefore the evaluation shall be made by taking these figures and the detailed description into consideration.

In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the waste management mechanism (1 ) subject to the invention are described in order to clarify the subject matter. This invention relates to a waste management mechanism (1 ) which minimizes the water quantity of the mud masses that exits from many fields as a waste material such as iron and steel, mine industry, concrete plant, waste treatment plants etc., transfers dewatered mud to recycling or facilitates disposal of this mud and minimizes loss of labor force and cash.
The waste management mechanism (1 ) enables to increase the productivity and minimizes the area used. Mud collection within the current systems is made by means of the scrapers. After the collection process is performed by means of the scrapers, a part of the accumulated mud becomes slurry again. This situation decreases the performance of the relevant system. The system size is enlarged in order to fulfill the capacity of the system with a decreased efficiency. The waste management mechanism (1 ) performs the mud dewatering process in smaller areas with higher capacities compared to the mud separation and stilling pools used within the current systems. Since the waste management mechanism (1 ) does not have a movable structure during the mud collection process, the accumulated mud can be removed as much as it is required. During this process there is no such condition such as watering.
Size of the waste management mechanism (1 ) is very small compared to the configurations used today; therefore, the waste management mechanism (1 ) can operate with high efficiency. The waste management mechanism (1 ) gains area from the area isolated for mud dewatering process in the plants and thus enables the companies use their current scales more effectively.
The waste management mechanism (1 ) enables to minimize the maintenance and operation costs of the current systems. This situation creates serious losses in respect to time and cost during maintenance. The surfaces of the inventive waste management mechanism (1 ) are designed in an angular manner and the mud is enabled not to adsorb onto the surface by using a special covering on the surface. So that it causes to operate within a very short period of time and with a low cost. In the same way, since there are no movable mechanisms within the pool, the operating costs also decrease. The waste management mechanism (1 ) enables to improve the assembly period and decrease the period of redemption. The waste management mechanism (1 ) has different sizes compared to the current configurations with the same capacity. So that high performance and low redemption is enabled.
The waste management mechanism (1 ) has an environmentalist structure. In order to increase the performance within current systems, various types of chemicals which facilitate the mud formation are added within the muddy water. In the waste management mechanism (1 ) subject to the invention, usage of this type of chemicals is reduced and thus both an environmentalist policy is followed and also the costs are reduced.
The waste management mechanism (1 ) has a long life cycle. The waste management mechanism (1 ) can operate during longer periods because of its special covering, it does not have blind spots and it does not have movable mechanism within the mud pool. Also, the life cycle of the waste management mechanism (1 ) is long against abrasion. Together with the developed waste management mechanism (1 ), the loss due to abrasion is aimed to be minimized and the obtained waste can be used as a qualified raw material. Also, the decrease in abrasion and wearing extends the life cycle of the pools and decreases the maintenance and repair costs.
During the maintenance process of the current systems, a long period of time is required due to the huge size of the system and mechanisms used. In addition to this, the plants take a break for discharging the muddy water within the pool or they due to its hugeness or prefer a different form for storing the mud. In both cases the maintenance costs are high. In the same way, in blind spots due to geometric structure encountered in the current pools, the mud accumulates and hardness amount in the mud increases and the mud within the pool petrifies in time. A serious labor force is required in order to eliminate these formations during maintenance process, and also the maintenance thereof leads to distortion. The developed waste management mechanism (1 ) does not have a blind spot due to its developed geometric structure. The mud accumulates in the collection channels by means of the special covering on all surfaces and is removed from the waste management mechanism (1 ) in appropriate periods. As a natural result of this situation, petrification is not seen. Loss of time and cost for discharging the mud is significantly reduced with the waste management mechanism (1 ) because the higher capacities and lower volumes can be reached when it is compared with the current systems. The waste management mechanism (1 ) has a design which enables easy mounting-demounting, and its maintenance can be made in long maintenance periods, with low costs and within a very short period of time.
The waste management mechanism (1 ) shown in Figure 1 in a perspective manner comprises the following;
❖ at least one body (2) which has a structure designed in an angled manner for collecting the solid particles without adsorption and for removing the mud from the plant in a proper manner, consists of at least one foot (21 ) compresses onto the floor and at least one chamber (22) collects slurry and carries all elements onto itself (Figure 2),
❖ at least one receiver apparatus (3) which receives the slurry carried by means of the channels with at least one pipe (31 ) of it, transfers this fluid that includes received slurry through said pipe (31 ) towards the body (2) by means of the director (32) and thus enables to direct this fluid that includes this slurry in a systematic manner (Figure 3),
❖ at least one collection cover (4) which is placed under the chamber (21 ) included within said body (2), which has one or a plurality of divisions (41 ), which enables to discharge of the relevant mud by means of performing opening and closing process when the collected and dewatered mud reaches to an appropriate level (Figure 4),
❖ one or a plurality of impact plate (5) which is located within the chamber (21 ) included within said body (2), acts like a drainer with its perforated structure, decelerates the speed of the solid particles within the muddy water when the muddy water entering into said body (2) impacts to itself, enables the decelerated particles moving in the downward direction with their own weights under the influence of gravity, thus enables accumulation of the mud on the collection cover (4) (Figure 5), and
❖ at least one transport conveyor which receives disposed and felt mud after the collection cover (4) is opened when the accumulated mud on said collection cover (4) reaches to an appropriate level, enables to remove the relevant mud from the plant by means of its movable structure, enables the mud to be purified from its water during its removal from the plant by means of its filter band and thus enables a productive operation. The transport conveyor, impact plate (5), collection cover (4), receiver apparatus (3) and body (2) included within the waste management mechanism (1 ) subject to the invention comprise primed surfaces and Bioclean ECO Self Polishing cover on these primed surfaces. By means of said special covering, the mud does not adsorb on to the surface. The muddy water first of all reaches to the receiver apparatus (3) and the receiver apparatus (3) orients the relevant muddy water to the body (2). The muddy water which enters to the body (2) thus the waste management mechanism (1 ) impacts to the impact plate (5). As a result of this realized impact, the particle speed within the muddy water is reduced. The fluid can pass to the other phase by means of the holes on the impact plate (5). The fluid impacts to each of the impact plates (5) which are located successively and after each impact the speed of the fluid is reduced. Together with the angles on the body (2) and the special covering, the mud is precipitated and the purified water is discharged from the outlet. The mud accumulated on the collection cover (4) is transferred onto the transport conveyor having a filter by means of opening and closing the covers which operate hydraulically. The mud is dewatered on the transport conveyor and removed from the waste management mechanism (1 ).

Claims

1. A waste management mechanism (1 ) which minimizes the water quantity of the mud masses that emerge from many fields as a waste material such as iron and steel, mine industry, concrete plant, waste treatment plants etc., transfers dewatered mud to recycling or facilitates disposal of this mud and minimizes loss of labor force and cash, characterized by comprising the following;
❖ at least one body (2) which has a structure designed in an angled manner for collecting the solid particles without adsorption and for removing the mud from the plant in a proper manner, carries all elements onto, comprises at least one foot (21 ) that compresses onto the floor and at least one chamber (22) that collects slurry,
❖ at least one receiver apparatus (3) which receives the slurry carried by means of the channels with at least one pipe (31 ) of receiver apparatus (3), transfers this fluid including received slurry through said pipe (31 ) towards the body (2) by means of the director (32) and thus enables directing this fluid including this slurry in a systematic manner,
❖ at least one collection cover (4) which is placed under the chamber (21 ) included within said body (2), which has one or a plurality of divisions (41 ), which enables to discharge of the relevant mud by means of performing opening and closing process when the collected and dewatered mud reaches to an appropriate level,
❖ one or a plurality of impact plate (5) which is located within the chamber (21 ) included within said body (2), acts like a drainer due to perforated structure, decelerates the speed of the solid particles within the muddy water when the muddy water entering into said body (2) impacts to said impact plate (5), which enables the decelerated particles moving in the downward direction with particles’ own weights under the influence of gravity, thus enables accumulation of the mud on the collection cover (4) and, ❖ at least one transport conveyor which receives disposed and felt mud after the collection cover (4) is opened when the accumulated mud on said collection cover (4) reaches to an appropriate level, which enables to remove the relevant mud from the plant by means of movable structure, which enables the mud to be purified from water during mud’s removal from the plant by means of a filter band and thus enables a productive operation.
2. A waste management mechanism (1 ) according to claim 1 , characterized by comprising a transport conveyor, impact plate (5), collection cover (4), receiver apparatus (3) and body (2) which have primed surfaces and a special covering on said primed surfaces that enables the mud to not adsorb on the surface.
